Been playing GW2 since release (and played GW1 from about a year after release) and I have noticed over the last few years that the personal story is much less engaging than it used to be. I seem to spend more time asking people how they "feel" than I do playing the game. I have no problem with options to talk to people about feelings being in the game, some people want/need/appreciate that and that's fine, however, I for one am put off by having to go through these dialog options,, I actually paly games to get away from RL interactions with high maintenance people and am disappointed that Guild Wars appears to be becoming less of an epic MMO RPG and more of a 3D sims game set in an RPG universe. Again I am not saying I dont want people to have the option to ask everyone they meet "how do you feel" or the option to continually dig into your "friends" lives like some sort of creepy stalker - I just want the option to skip the stuff I dont give a skrits tail about and play the game, cmon, lets be truly inclusive and allow people to engage rather than putting them off! Im not the only one who views the personal story as a chore.

Got a dps tracker a while back and it was surprising how much of a gap there was between the higher and lower members of an average strike group - we are not talking tens of percent but hundreds of percent in some cases. You cant say your dps is "ok" unless you have numbers and its quite possible that you could double your dps (or increase it by a factor of a few) if you looked in detail at your current dps and the potential dps of other builds. In extreme cases they may simply not want your class as dps because the meta builds for your class are not as effective as other class/spec combinations (usually the newest additions are highest in order to encourage people to play them, for which you can blame Anet). Its a shame that there are not more relaxed groups as it would be more inclusive and allow more people to have fun, but, at the end of the day a lot of players want to do content quickly without issue and for that they need players of a similar ability/spec/etc to themselves. Not everyone plays the game in the same way or for the same reason and if you join a group you are agreeing to pay they way they want to play. I have seen worse, the best thing you can do is run your own squad and be nicer to people. At minimum dont let it get you down, the world is full of elitist people, games are no different.

Augury Rock just took Stoic without having to open either outer or inner, again. Its seems someone is getting inside without destroying gate/wall and portaling people directly to inner - when is it going to be fixed? Also, when we get a screenshot of the culprit will they be banned (as one would expect for this type of blatant exploit)?

Last few weeks Gandara has had no chance to even come close to holding its own, massively outnumbered almost all the time. I get this is some sort of revenge for them being seen as OP for a long time but the way Anet are approaching this is toxic. I like WvW when its mostly even, and the whole point of servers going up/down each week should make it approximately even most of the time but the current system just kills this totally. The only logical response to this is first disappointment, then anger, mostly aimed at Anet, thanks for nothing, I will remember this.

24 hours later, no info... Not a problem if its a bug but why dont they say its a bug? Overall I agree with the comments along the lines of single use masteries being underwhelming, particularly when they are not implemented well or explained. Will check again tomorrow - maybe its another time gate concept, add bugs that delay peoples progress :expressionless:

So I have 5 blue crystals, vendor who had the first crystal has no more - will check back tomorrow. If someone has the answer it would be great to know (i.e. is it the same vendor as the first crystal and how do you get the second one to show, yes I have completed the first two masteries of the track)...

I would like to point out to Anet that I have updated antivirus and a good security setup on my PC (including 2 factor auth for gw2 locked to the IP), the only way someone is going to log into my account or get my credentials from the script files I use to log in is if they break into my house, which means I have bigger security concerns than a computer game. This is a very inconvenient change, it is particularly disappointing that no alternative was put inplace before functionality was removed. Anet have demonstrated particularly poor customer service in this instance. Edit: removed "game game".
