I would like it to be less reliable on stealth or even removing stealth completely (not only for thieves,for all classes that have access to stealth) as a defense/offense mechanic and instead I would give the class more blinds and blocks ( I love bandit's defense and black powder skills) and disarm/throwdown effects while keeping the evades and map roaming/mobility as they are now. With the right numbers, that would increase the 1v1 potential of thief while being visible and spottable for the enemy team to react. ( I dont take into account PW since I believe it will be gutted in the upcoming patch). Basically a dirty brawler who uses unfair tactics to win face to face instead of ambush attacks with the usage of multiple abilities (not pw/vault spam) , rather than a sneaky hit and runner . A brawler with less damage and passive sustain than a warrior, but with better mobility, cc, and active sustain via cc and evades. I know many thieves and other players will disagree and that's normal. I just like the dirty brawler theme better than the ninja playstyle that's all. Daredevil approached that theme, but still in the end thieves were still forced to run stealth and stick to the +1 role which made thief to rely mostly on his team's ability to rotate and hold points. Otherwise it was fairly useless since it cant team fight and it cant hold points on its own. Deadeye was a mistake.
  2. Why are my proposed buffs outrageous? I can understand instant wurm could be problematic,that is true, but why a 1 sec evade frame on gs3 (which will still be worse than warrior gs3) is considered outrageous on probably the slowest class there is, when sword weaver has 2 evade skills with similar cd on earth and water excluding twist of fate and normal dodges, without even counting all the other defensive abilities it has, mirage having cloak and cool mobility, warrior with the passive sustains invus blocks and mobility, soulbeast etc etc. Why a slight increase in GS autos is outrageous? Or 2 secs reduced shroud cd? It's not a free iwinbutton, it needs resources unlike most other classes. Cause of the dmg? There are plenty of classes and specs with burst far superior than reaper and with the tools to disengage easy. I dont think an 8sec shroud, slighty faster gs auto with an evade on gs3 (half of reaper players dont even use gs) reaper is gonna nuke every current meta build out of orbit. The things reaper has going for it, are the typical necro corrupts and aoe pressure if left alone. Scourge is deleted. Dont get me wrong, corrupts are useful and help a lot, but being a slow corrupt bot for so many years while the general gameplay turns faster and burstier every year is...boring to say the least. If anything is outrageous, is the powercreep most of the other classes have atm. If they fix all that powercreep with the upcoming patch, then yes what I suggested is op. But how things stand now and for the past months, I dont think anything I said is op aside of wurm. And I also like the dash idea.
  3. Revert the cd nerf of reaper shroud. 10 secs is seriously too long for a class with almost zero mobility and no defensive abilities in the current fast paced state of the game. Make it 7 secs again, or even 8. Just decrease its cd a bit. Make flesh wurm instant cast and increase its hp by quite a lot. Increase its cd a bit. Increase GS autoattack speed. Rework death spiral and make its animation like soul spiral making it easier to hit multiple targets, keeping it's current effects and add evasion for it's duration which is one second so it can be used defensively when needed and not only for pokes. Greatsword is a very clunky weapon, this buff will add some much needed defensive flavor for the class, without breaking pve and I dont believe will break pvp either. Thank you for your time.
  4. Make it 7 seconds again. Our only "damage mitigation" skill has a 10 sec cd and needs lifeforce on top of that. Especially now with the soul eater nerf, just make it 7 seconds again. Come on.
