you're right and I see where Dawdler was going with their comment too. It's testing. I get it. But sending out an in-game notification would have been stellar. Or I didn't log in until after it started and didn't know it happened. But on the bright side.... maybe next BETA.... people will know now. I'll definitely be checking that pop-up before logging in and seeing if some DEV said something

Sometimes you see your teams dots. (I'm talking about if you're not in a squad yet) Sometimes you see the enemy orange dots too.

Wife and I wanted to get into WvW but we're on totally separate teams. So not playing WvW until this ends on the 19th. Somehow have to get balancing done somehow have to figure out this "Queing" up to get into a battlefield Maybe queing up for teams? Before the battle starts? 50 man teams? IDK But allow people to que up and make one change during game play in case their not with their family member And yes you're right pikalovr, an in-game e-mail or even RL mail saying you better pick or you're getting thrown into a team would be great. I logged in after the 11th deadline and would have been great if it still said choose a team and make sure your family member chooses the same, I get it, it's BETA, we're testing. But I'll just wait till it goes back to the normal way. I think I do like the teams aspect but seems pretty slow right now still, with no commanders. AND SORRY FOR CAPS BUT I WOULD LIKE ANET TO POSSIBLY SEE THIS: When we're coming into a map, no I don't think you should see the enemies running on the playing field but what about putting all of our team dots on the map so we can see where everybody is at??? That would be helpful

Not hard to create another server with an instance so people can do Obisidian Sanctum Jumping Puzzle or anything else needed in WvW without 5-6 a$$clowns downing your little self and thinking their best in the game, it's not catering to PVE, it's called make yourself untouchable so a zerg or small group passes by you and you get your achievements and get out. Not everybody wants to PvP or WvW and it's not their fault ANet put things you need in WvW to make other items. I was talking about one person only, Mike O'brien and I really don't give AF where he's at now. Bet you feel good now though huh? Funny how this community keeps saying "Ours is the best and friendly" but still have dousche Canoes coming over everyday

There is a simple solution to this that I can't believe the "DEV's aka brilliance" haven't figured out: When you enter WvW - click on a "battle" button which makes you WvW opponent OR click on "Non-pvp mode" so you are not red and untouchable. Oh wait.... I think WoW does that. Oh wait... I think the GW2 CEO came from Blizzard. Get better.

I don't think they should have a que figure out how to balance the servers and come out with more pvp content (it's still the same maps since 2012) spamming chat with "what do you expect with a free game" Get better. The amount of "possibilities" this company is passing up on is amazing instead of worrying about their woke agenda

That was your "no cost" transfer.The reason F2P gets a free transfer, when they buy an expansion: they never got that original choice; this is the first time they are able to choose. Not exactly true. Play4Free accounts can choose at account creation, but they can not transfer by any means whatsoever, until the upgrade to a paid account. (So, should a P4F account make a mistake when first choosing their world (server), they are stuck there unless they upgrade or create a new P4F account.)Got it. thanks. Still somewhat jacked since they are playing on some server when they were playing for free and now get to choose. Should have waited I guess. Good things for those that wait and play for free

Old thread but I'm looking to ask this question but for somewhat of a different question for one of the devs, next option is submitting a ticket. This seems to be about free accounts buying an expansion and being able to have one free transfer. What if you were never free, you purchased the game in 2012, picked a server, and you purchased all the expansions and never had any server transfer offer for free? If that is still available for use for one time, how can we get this free transfer? Yes I know the servers are connected, this is mainly because of WvW
