It should only be down if there are integrity issues. An extremely rare case of a rollback is not one of them. You are free to not log into the game for the meantime until you feel that it will be safe for you to play again. Well if they don't restore it, my 45 character will have to sit in mothballs, as I won't waste any more time on a game that can't be maintained properly. They can just shut down the TP. There’s no need to shutdown the entire game. In this scenario should be better to shut down the entire game, we're not aware if there are other issues in the game (as i said, people have duplicated items). Anyway, you agree with me, the managing is poor if the dont shut down even the TP

We all know what happened this morning with the rollback...there a lot of topics on forum/reddit. I'm a developer, i know this sucks, but it can happen to any company...so no fault on arenanet for the server crash & rollback.Arenanet's only fault is how they are managing it RIGHT NOW, it's inacceptable imho. I work in an IT company, i know the crash/rollback happened during their nighttime, but they should have a 24/24 support group or an alarm for this emergency situations and the first thing they had to do was to put server offline for an extraordinary maintenance ! People are currently playing (since 3-5 hours ?) in an alternative timeline that will not exists when the emergency will be solved. There are a lot of casual players who don't use this forum or reddit, they are not AWARE of the situation, they are continuing to play in a game that is currently broken ! They have lost 2-3 days of game, and they now are continuing to lose their time (not considering bugs like TP not working at all, don't sell anything... you wont get golds)So, arenanet, why is the game still up ? please, put the game in maintenance mode as soon as possible or you will lose more player when this emergency will end ! @arenanet: it's not a rant against the team, i love you guys and i love gw2 ... but i can't understand why you are handling this so bad@everyone : please be civil in the discussion

can you share your build ? Are you able to win duel against warrior or any close combat range class ?i would like to create a detailed discussion about guardian performance in pvp/wvw (not the usual thread "guardian sucks, please buff the class"). I'm completely in love with guardian, it's my main class but i think some mechanics are outdated compared to other classes. the proof is that using warrior/spellbreaker (with near to 0 experience as warrior) i was able to kill ANY guardian/firebrand(no bunker)/dh in pvp. the main guardian cons in my opinion are : low hp pool : imho should be medium tier)low hp regeneration : passive effect of F2 is really thrash, guardians should have healing signet similiar to warrior in order to compensate low hp pool. meditate skill: many guardians/dh relies on "meditate" skills to recover hp/cure conditions, but the gameplay becomes boring (weapon skills + healing skill + 3 utility healing skill + elite)greatsword : whirling wrath (GS2) is really good but hard to land, a skilled player is able to avoid it. I'm able to use it often on Firebrand (quickness!) or using Judge's Intervention. Binding Blade (GS5) before GS2 is really predictable against good player. Improve the speed animation by 20% ? Comparing to warrior greatsword skills: every skill is really easy to land, GS5 is a great gap closer (or disengage), GS4 is ranged, GS3 has no starting animation(=easy to land), GS2 is situational (with quickness after a stun)hammer: imho the weapon is too slow, i have used it very little compared to other weaponsmace : this should be reworked. Mace3 is the only nice skill. imho underrated by many players, mace can be used with thorch effectivelyscepter: good in pve, in pvp/wvw nice for team fight, not so good for roamingsword : sword3 is cool but really hard to land. watching many guardians on youtube, 80% of time sword3 lands only 1/2 hitswhat do you think ?

Hi,What do you think about guardian in pvp/wvw ? Is it just me or guardian seems weak compared to other classes ? I have spent many hours trying guardian, dh and firebrand , but none of them seem decent (except bunker FB, I mean damage dealer variant of guardian).I have tried warrior (with 0 experience) and I was able to deal more damage with it . What do you think ?Thanks
