I'd would've prefered new and interesting overly priced content..than well the game is free a bad remix is good enough content. Zero interest in purchasing this expac, EoD or anything they have to offer if that's what we are doing. I am waiting offline to see the weapons as a last "I really tried"..but I am pretty much ready to move on after being lured back by the email announcing the expac. This time for good, cause I don't like these kinda antics personally

Anet got rid of a lot of staff and perhaps some people left due to that treatment not sure...I remember when I tried untamed and saw that ugly black and green copy of druids ca 2 ability I was like ya...the hype and glory days of this game are ova! Animations to me are a big deal..any copy pasta action just translates to "they really really don't care huh?".

Not sure what is the core concern here...if virtuoso is nerfed you'll feel ok and vindicated?? What I gathered from this post is the "dumbing" down of this game ever since EoD took off is what makes the game extremley boring to me now...they wanted to attract new players by dumbing down mechanics to allow them to catch up and need no investment in any brain power to "learn the nooks and crannies" of the game...and made all the "if you are a tryhard nerd your skill will alienate the casuals" qualities irrelevant and even nonexistent....so now all people play the dumb builds..nothing to theory craft...peace and justice rules...except it's boring....it's not what made gw2 actually fun...to me..so whatevs. Mech away..or dagger mesmer away...god kitten that AA animation of dagger is so lame.

Loool it's so funny I always come back to the game around halloween time every single time...by the time the haloween event is over I can't get my self to play anymore..I'm gonna try to log in at christmas/wintersday, an event I literally have never experienced and miss out on all the skins...or the new year luck one... It's weird I think the winter blues hit me, use the game to cope..adjust to winter then move on or something lol.

I think the "golem" is just a symbol of extremley boring ideas that keeps replacing the "interesting but doesn't really super work or casual players find it too complicated, but when try hards utilise they break the game" ideas. Making everything into "bigdamage/cleanse/heal/alac or quickness"...is just I am really not a fan of it personally..but it's too late they are commited to that now. They have been approaching everything from this "easy to balance" angle with no regards to role-playing class fantasy flavor angle imo. Which is just...not fun...maybe for pvpers it is..?? Dunno. I don't play an mmo to go like..."ranger and ele dps/heal is the same..now I am happy". This is exactly what WoW and FF did..where the game ends up feeling like a moba..and that's what they want. Buy your 80 boost..buy soto to shortcut all the mmoness of it all..then you'll need the expansions to play the especs, and buy whatever trendy "of performer" outfit from the skin shop, easy balance, easy money. This is what they are going for.

I was just going yo say..I don't own eod..but when I play with vindis they destroy stuff xD..also they can be horrifying in pvp dunno if that changed recently..can't really say I've experienced the same watching renegades.

ow I use it and no one really says nothing...I just noticed my self when I dps and the quickness source is fb sometimes I am like....hmm what's going on...so decided to actually make sure of the output myself. ok ya I mean I try to be cheap and not use food xD cause like some other classes/specs really get away with no/little bd at all and np. I was really trying to play the don't use all mantra charges game but I will try the fire them all and be done with it approach. Is stoic deameanor better than loremaster or?

looool I forgot that sword 2 is a blur... But still with the signets give distortion trait I guess and the reset shatters..and if chrono....but that would compete with the break stun one...I dunno I was trying to be optimistic..trust me I can't stand their approach or ideas to most things it ends up somehow making everything extremley boring and worse than it ever was...so I am not holding my breath xD. I am just trying to keep it together xD. I know for sure they want mesmer to "stay in its place"....so..shrug. That all being said. I still feel like these changes sound more supporty than what mesmer is right now...just gotta wait and see cause it's coming regardless they don't care what anyone types. Btw I think the compounding power condi change is a nerf to builds that are not condi geared but use condi...perhaps they are targeting bunker chrono in pvp..I dunno..just 🤮 whatever.

It is very obvious that they did this whole weapon mastery stunt to try to sell an expansion with zero effort into creating anything new. How hard was it to imagine that unleashing whatever weapon that is tied to an espec..a quality you can't pick two of...would create bs?? they didn't care...they are just grasping at straws to stay in their jobs frankly. Can't even reskin enemies properly...not a single interesting black lion item that tries to promote the aesthetics of the new "expansion"..cause the new expansion is just a reshuffle of everything old and a weak one at that. Any fantasy rpg game enjoyer would've found the suggestion of "weapon mastery" to be such a lore ruining...fantasy weakening...lazy..just laaaaaaazyyyy idea. No passion. So you reused old content..then ruined the old content by reusing it carelessly...like???? If they cared about the game.....they just don't, they refuse to use any brain power when it comes to anything. I honestly don't even think they would know how to apply "interesting" ideas on a technical level into the game if they wanted to and so they just do whatever is easiest and with least fuss to them. They are best at just "delete/copy/paste"...till everything is the same thing. I don't blame them though really, I blame Anet for how they approached their issues with their staff and wanting to be more lucrative..and it would be only right for this game to lose its appeal after you carelessly got rid of people left and right. So..just enjoying the road downhill..except I didn't really purchase either EoD or SoTo...free game is free I guess xD.

I actually have a conspiracy theory that the anet staff that replaced the old staff...made it their "career goal" to act like what they came up with was perfect and that the old stuff was really really bad.."look how we fixed it, boss" kinda thing, They consistently downgraded the complexity of the prior classes/work to make it look comparable to what they come up. No proof at all xD.

Hey guys I recently-ish returned to the game. It took me a while to register some changes that happened with FB..I mean at first I thought with no CD on tomes wth op op.... But then..I realised slowly that a lot of things are kinda...well let's just say I can't grasp them. A lot of tome spells are just very different than what they used to be...lol. The biggest shocker is that the heal mantra does not give aegis anymore (unless you use the third pulse which is..bleh what??)...took me a while to actually realise that (was doing a story challenge and found out the hard way that fb is not the aegis machine gun it used to be lol). It doesn't even heal players..or has a decent protection uptime with lots of boon time gear. Even if you take every single quickness talent which is actually really frustrating to have to talent into two of them!! to upkeep quickness in a "comfortable" way...it's like if you miss one mantra pulse on a player it'll be really impactful...and these mantras have a weird aoe I still can't fully compute. Even when you use the quickness mantra third charge things always feel tightish. (I was also fooled about how much quickness I am maintaining on others because of the self only proc from the swift scholar trait). The heal/boon output of fb feels really "bursty" in when you can perform them..but they are also..not as strong as other classes in either department. They have a lot of zomg tools...but..can't maintain/stack them super duper well. Am I getting this right or am I missing something. I think this explains herald healers mainly queing for quickness spots..or squads asking for heal alacs mainly...cause frankly traiting away from pages/boons with tome skills..feels really..not that good given yes the quickness uptime is better...but...still not that good?? All this button pressing when herald feels like they just...emanate the smell....of whatever you need, so why bother. Pvp is obviously a different ball game..but even there I mainly see base guardian support xD. I am not really discussing is FB bad or op or whatever. I think it obviously has certain good uses but... I know first hand that when I play in a party that has quickness uptime gaps it's frustrating cause if you cast something with significant cast time during these gaps it's painful so, trying to gauge my usefullness with the spec. (Maybe they are not the best for raiding/strike enviroments and that's that?). Just checking...I could be missing something.

I keep reading about this..maybe I don't know the classes..but can herald pump heals like a druid...?? I don't think so?..so can't herald's edge be easy booning tricky healing while druid the opposite..it's already a snooze fist how characters became reduced to quick or alac with no rhyme or reason just to balance things out.

I literally logged in with my male norn...checked that armor out..and logged off...I am over the thot attire that are supposed to be "funny?" on males, but "hot but cheap and basic" with females. Why name it krytan rogue chestpiece even? Leave the krytan set alone and try to be original??? The whole point of corsets is to push out you know what..but males have *that* all exposed while female don't...? Like what is the angle we're going for here? could've made it look interesting and less thotty in a "gothic/steampunk/victorian male corset/halter fashion vibe..but yeah whatever..lace pants..this..what's next??
