  1. Literally making pvp incredibly unfun. Its the fact they constantly are breaking things every patch. But this is just rediculous levels of nonsense. Please fix your kitten balance. Ele is broken, particularly Cata, and it has been since BEFORE the patch, let alone now.
  2. Anet please, for the love of god, fix bladesworn, its the most horrible thing i've ever come across in this game. Nothing should have Massive damage, group sustain, insane self sustain, and unbockable interrupts and decent mobility all together in 1 package. The fact I tried it, and just button mashed and put up as much of a fight as I did is not fun and engaging gameplay, its broken. What happened to PvP being about decent gameplay rather than playing the most broken class currently out. Please - there is a reason its being abused right now.
  3. Again - i said only a few players would be affected by this. I agree its very niche, and yes, my scenario isnt common - but IF this situation does happen, you now have a very expensive item collecting dust. The point is, if it can be made salvageable it would be nice for these niche situations. I don't claim that Anet has done anything wrong, nor do i believe this is anyone elses fault but mine. But! Its just a request.
  4. Why would it be a problem to have the option to salvage one? In my circumstance i was a long way along the process to making a legendary on an alt account a couple of years ago - which i no longer want to create it on that account and want to retrieve the materials, which i can not do. I see absolutely 0 harm in at least having the option?

I guess the intermediate stages would be the best route for this - although worth noting that if you did get the raw materials from 1 salvage, and your inventory isnt able to fit all 42 items and gives you the pop up window for those items, you can just press the 'deposit all' button if you have sufficient space in your bank as they are all materials.
  6. Although i know only a few players may be affected by this, it would be good if we could salvage a mystic tribute for the raw materials as we can with the Gift of Fortune.
  7. I'd rather fight Condi thieves than warriors tbh. It's not less skillful than popping rampage and two shotting just about every class. Doesnt really come into what you'd rather fight. Talking about condi thief in this thread. Id rather fight any other class than thief? So what? I never said warrior doesnt have its balance issues (which really only is around Rampage) There is more you can do to avoid/counter warrior than condi thief.
  8. Condi thief needs to seriously be addressed. There is good reason that there is a huge increase in them in ranked play especially in mid/high plat i'm seeing far more regularly a 4 thief game (2 on each side). In which instantly my interest in the game is lost (I still try but know it wont be a fun game). Yes i know condi thief should beat my class if played well, its the fact that it doesn't even have to be played at all well to beat, i believe myself to be, a fairly competent player. And as someone who looks at most 1v1 situations and tries to adapt to see how i can improve my gameplay, i find it almost impossible to do this vs this spec. There is 0 telegraph to dodge, so you pretty much have to dodge blind to avoid and instant array of conditions to applied to you and if you dont, you pretty much are forced to cleanse as those condis alone can take a good chunk of hp without the thief really using anything. The poison buffs have been overbuffed, where pretty much anything gives you poison, so you suffer from the -33% hp gain and a pretty huge amount of damage as they stack a crazy amount. The worst of this is even if you lose half of your life you can never really recover, as you almost always will have some poison on you, and the mobility of thief doesn't allow you to even kite well. Hell you cant even block as they can just use shortbow to get unblockable poison AND interrupt if you have poison on you. Madness! 1 thief in this spec is bad, 2 in one game is just laughably unfun, and i play the game mode to have fun. I dont mind losing so long as i feel i have a chance to do something. Im giving PvP a wider berth as almost every game has 1-2 of this and its just no fun to play against. Hell if you are a condi thief and want to give some tips on how to deal with you in this state that would be nice, without the usual unhelpful comments of git gud/change class etc.
  9. PvP is suppose to be the competitive game mode. In most games, PvP rewards players who get better at the game, and win more regularly, this is how GW2 should be, its incentivises getting better. Unranked is an area for where players in GW2 can play the game mode freely for non-competitiveness enjoyment, with friends, testing builds and some level of reward. Ranked is the game mode that should be protected as the competitive game mode. Individual players want to feel rewarded for getting better, not just from seeing a number of skill level or a leaderboard position, but actually see some rewards. AT's are a step in the direction for the organised group competitive game mode. Players coming together to feel rewarded for getting better not only individually, but as a team. This is highly rewarded for what PvP is, and should be, a competitive, skill based game mode. If you want to play the game and get highly rewarded for less input in a non-competitive pvp enviroment, there is always WvW that does just that. We should be incentivising good gameplay, not making it so nobody has to try, in order to get rewarded in THE competitive game mode. Farming in PvP should not even exist. The only time farming should be used as a term in PvP, is if a player, or players, really have got good enough to do so, in which case, fair play as that is their reward for getting good in the games competitive mode.
  10. Its fine as is. You still get rewarded in unranked with reward tracks. You should be rewarded more for Ranked. Ranked needs the player base, and i really think its delusional that a majority of people 'farm' pvp without trying as its so slow to make money if you dont win regularly. You know maybe it should actually be that Ranked games only reward pips if you win. Then maybe it will reduce the amount of people who actually do 'farm' pvp and dont try, which ruins the competitiveness for players who do care. All i see here is people wanting to get rewarded more for doing less, which is pretty typical in GW2.
  11. Have beaten many as War. But its not easy and your timings and kiting have to be on point. Usually find the initial burst is the most important thing to dodge, and there is an element of guessing when thats about to hit. If you get hit by the initial burst you usually spend the rest of the fight trying to recover. Power mes is considerably easier to fight than condi though.
