  1. Opera on my phone shows the main guildwars2.com page out of whack. Firefox was messed up until I noticed I had not updated to program, afterwards the page displayed correctly.
  2. More in-game cinematics which include the PC Epic soundtrack (more Core/HoT than PoF) Multiple (more than 4-5) maps, that are range and mix of wide & flat(PoF) to vertical(HoT). With one having a large underwater area. Greatsword elite spec for thief Playable Tengu Massive list of bug fixes across the whole of the game Character creation updates(faces, hair, horns, etc...) A lot of love to WvW(not that I play that mode much, but it needs it) Option to limit combat visual FX to show only mine A sprinkling of all types of activities from the game's history (hearts, bounties, adventures, strikes, etc...) A large scale dragon fight which does not require smacking feet or hands (mix of encounters like Kralk in Living World and Mordremoth in Dragon Stand)
  3. More-so, "Excited, but I want more info. Don't want to set myself up for disappointment. Will certainly get it on release, as more GW2 is a good thing."
  4. I'm a guy, but generally choose female when given the option in games. It started as the Lara Croft reasoning back in the day, but now it is due to characters being based on a story of mine. Playing them as close as possible to their story counterpart makes for some fun decisions in games like Mass Effect and Old Republic. As limited as it was, I do miss the personality system GW2 used to have. Funnily enough when I counted my characters in GW2, I have 8 males and 5 females. That said, my main char, female, probably has more game-time than the other characters combined. It is an interesting question. I do not shy away from games which lock you into a character type and feel it would be very limiting to what kind of entertainment I consume. I absolutely love character creators, the option to build your own character and in some case have your own custom adventure, but I would never want to miss out on games due to a lack there of.
  5. I like seeing the other characters in the jumping puzzle, and actually miss it in the Clocktower. That said, adding a transformation would be the best solution, wisps may not be the ideal option. Maybe a new snowman model, or the elf from GW1; grentches would be fun but they do not fit the theme. I will add, that once you get a solid feel for the JP the larger characters are much less of an issue.
  6. I had this issue too, thought it was due to the Windows 10 upgrading I made. Adding the IP command line resolved it. Thanks to everyone for posting the various solutions. I assume it is okay to remove the command line to the shortcut? Lastly, is this something I'm going to have to repeat at every game update?
  7. Nothing from the new event boxes, but can not say I've done too much, maybe only an hour every day. An EbonMane's box dropped from Teq, so there is that.
  8. Hard and frustrating:Skip up the Volcano/Chalice of Tears - Too many precise jumps with a buggy checkpoint system. Not so Secret - Seems a bit random at times with the gears and such, a few precise jumps at the end too. Could just need more practice. Can't recall a third I do not want to repeat due to frustrations, but I have yet to do most of HoT's JP. So, maybe Obsidian Sanctum due to possible PvP. Hard but loads of fun:Mad King's Clock Tower - Fast, quick and visually exciting.Skipping Stones - The first part, while challenging is quite fun, as is running along the rocks up on high.Winter Wonderland - Three courses with three difficulties depending on how I'm feeling. Plus it's Wintersday.
  9. Thanks for the reset. I'll keep those notes in mind if I see the map lock-up.
  10. Unfortunately, I'm not able to play when the game gets it usual Tuesday patches. Unless the map resets after the the smaller fixes which usually follow? Overall, I hoping this gets updated when the next LS Episode releases. If not then it's off to another map until it gets fixed. Thanks for the tips though Taelac.7036.
  11. I've just encountered this myself, as I was planning to complete the two ghost achievements which do not spawn while this event remains in an "active" state.
  12. Going to side with the majority on this one too. The mount skins released today were done so in a very poor method. First up, Warhound skin is half the price of PoF! Look, I get it, it has a unique model which should be priced more, but 2,000 gems is _extremely _steep. And then we come to the RNG adoption license. I like that the price is more or less on par with gliders, but it really should have stuck with that model. One price for one mount skin, no RNG. I didn't like that only one glider was released into the game which could be acquired without paying extra, but I waited to see what would be released(and how much they would cost). And you know what, there were a few nice gliders released worth spending gems on. I figured a similar approach to mounts was coming. I didn't quite like the direction on the spooky mounts, but again I would wait and see. That clearly changed today, with both mount offerings. So going forward what can be done? If RNG is the game you want to play, meet us halfway. Let us at least choose which mount type we want to gamble on, which turns the odds from 1 out of 30 to 1 out of 6. Also, make the skin a tradeable item. That way if we do not receive the skin we want, at least we can get rid of it and make some of the purchase back to try again. This should have been there from the get go, and maybe half the folks here may have dealt with the RNG. Overall, it's the practice of adding more RNG(lootboxes) into a game that has already has a good deal of it. Even more so when lootboxes are under a lot of scrutiny by gamers as being a shady way of bringing in profit. I'm not going to bail on the game, and my gemstore habits will remain the same (buy what I like and skip the RNG stuff unless it's free), but I'm very displeased to see such an action taken with what seemed to be highly sought after items. And so soon after an excellent Halloween update.
  13. There is a lot I would like to see, but a new playable race is my number one, followed by build templates and a few new dungeons. How's about tossing in fresh, simple looking armor(pants and no trenchcoats) for good measure?
