  1. The damage is miniscule at best though. Not to mention, the work needed to make it halfway decent just isn't worth it.
  2. I'll take this further: Glacial Blow changes: They removed the Chill-on-CC in place of a minor heal that has an icd. I like what they're doing but this isn't good enough to take over a Flat dmg bonus for ALL skills(Inspiring Virtue) Or more cleanse(Absolute Resolve). This won't be taken in spvp Redemption change: An increase from 3-4 seconds isn't good enough what-so-ever. Valor is still a very lackluster trait line for defense outside of support. The main reason why this trait and Litany of Wrath aren't utilized because dealing damage is much more difficult than it is to take damage and convert it to health. Infuse Light and Defiant stance are MUCH superior versions because again, it's much easier and more efficient to receive damage than it is to deal it out. Flash Combo: I love this skill but replacing a stunbreak for it might be tough. Good changes overall Heaven's Palm: Cool concept, evade feels clunky and not long enough to justify it just yet. Roiling Light: Nice change, effects/boons aren't good enough to take just yet. Deathless Courage: Cool change but as it stands, WB is still inferior to DH in every facet outside of mobility. This change doesn't change that fact. In fact, it lessens WB's damage which is already inferior to DH's in favor of sustain. Rest of the changes were solid.
  3. That or you can do what they did to thief staff #5 long ago. Make certain skills un-useable while porting. Vault: December 11, 2018 The damage of this attack will no longer occur if the thief shadowsteps after the skill has begun. This could be applied to a multitude of skills that are problematic while insta-porting.
  4. It did help but it also wasn't very fun in my opinion for either the user who whoever was fighting that symbol spec.
  5. Morning y'all, I have a heavy disdain for the current way Symbols work in the game but I've figured out a way to make them far better and more enjoyable to use with little-to-no mechanical change. As we all know, these skills last 4 seconds(5 pulses) in a very small circle. I've devised a way to make them better! -Reduce the duration of all symbols to 2 seconds(Hammer is already like this) -Increase the damage by 25%(normally you'd call for 50% since you're losing half the duration but that's too much. -Front load the application of boons per weapon since each weapon gives a different amount per pulse. Sword - 5 seconds Axe - 5 seconds Hammer - keep it as is Long Bow - 7.5 seconds Great Sword - 5 seconds Mace - 5 seconds Scepter - 5 seconds, 4 stacks Staff - 10 seconds These changes would be very easy to implement without causing power-creep and more fun for the user since no one stands in them for the full duration.
  6. Spvp: WB Is arguably weaker than DH in every with the exception of Mobility. Its damage is less, survivability is less......pretty much everything is worse.
  7. Another bit of feedback: Swap the #2 skill with the #4 skill. As it stands, you're forced to run both MH and OH pistols to combo well with the symbol(3 and then 4 respectively). This would allow you to combo with just the MH Pistol and give you more freedom.
  8. Cleansing flame should clear condi's on the user as well. Torch has not been utilized in spvp at all, even since release.
  9. Agreed but It's still too slow and damage is hinged way too much on landing F1. While other classes can gain modifiers through easier means, dh is required to land f1 for it to match up. All the while it only affecting one player. Solid example of this: Vindicator gets a 25% dmg buff for just dodging AND it affects all enemies. Compare this to land a very obviously animated skill on a single target to obtain similar values. Or another good example is Willbender: To gain this 25% dmg buff, you must land strikes a total of 20 times to gain a similar benefit.(1 tempo at the start, 5 strikes for each additional tempo). This can be quite difficult to upkeep compared to Vindicator for just dodging once.
  10. I didn't know it refreshed, that's quite enlightening. Yeah this looks like fun. Double melee is a bit rough imo.
  11. Looks neat. I'd say Feel My Wrath is still the superior elite but to each their own. Running only one stunbreak is kind of rough. This is something I'd recommend changing but obviously, if you enjoy what you enjoy, go for it. Also, rune of infiltration feels just as good for crit. 90% while keeping more power is more appealing to me. http://gw2skills.net/editor/?PWwAIt7lJwaYOsFGJW8X1tPA-DaAPjeVBVMFkyjAAA PS: Brawler technically allots you more modifier uptime vs dragonhunter relic given how much prot/resolution you're getting and how often you're getting it. Edit: Actually, after testing it.....virtue's doesn't seem to allow for a ton of resolution uptime like I thought it would. Zeal definitely offers more of both.
  12. Any idea when this skill will be fixed to work with on-heal relics? Currently, it has to go through the whole animation(not trigger) for it to work.
  13. Spvp perspective: Hammer is better but that's it. #1: Much smoother auto's #2: Nothing to say here, short range smash #3: Better but has bad tracking against super-speed targets #4: Still can't land this on a snail #5: Still can't land this without judge's intervention Score: 2/5. It's better overall but landing key skills is no different.
  14. Spvp analysis: The weapon itself is fun and new but rather mid. Guardian weaponry as a whole is pretty terrible so when we finally get something not-so-terrible, we celebrate. The weapon actually tracks.....that alone makes it far more enjoyable than say Scepter or Torch or even LB in some cases. #1: The Auto-attack actually hits.....wow. Damage is pretty low but at least it hits. #2: Solid beam with good burn and decent power. #3: Symbol......it's just terrible. #4: Good damage and some soft-cc. #5: Does no damage, long charge-time. Really cool-looking skill just its payoff isn't worth the charge-up. A score of 3/5 is what I'd give this weapon. It's nothing special and when you have below-average weapons to start with, this feels like a blessing when it really.....isn't
  15. You all did pretty kitten well if you're gold 1.....just saying.
