  1. So I just climbed to Plat only playing necromancer and every build I played got absolutely bodied vs ranger... I eventually settled on support and every utility skill I run is to get away from rangers... My strategy for dealing with them is to simply not as soon as I am in a even match up with a ranger I just rotate to a different point and that seemed to work unless there was 3 rangers on the enemy team which is not as rare as you'd hope lol
  2. I would personally love if they just made the stealth reveal on attack rather then on hit.. idk maybe to punishing but atleast then id have a chance to counter attack before I'm stunned etc.
  3. played gw2 for darn near 8 years and quit when they killed team que had a 300 man guild all daily active who paired into teams of 5 and qued all day now no one plays anymore sad what they did with spvp... Im skeptical that required 5 mans would work due to the fact that people just don't have the time always to find Randoms to pair with (not saying it wouldn't work I'm just not so sure) I just wish they would bring back season 2 style as previous stated by other people here but id be down for any team based content in spvp
  4. If unranked had any sort of reward, you would see people basically getting gold and other rewards for doing absolutely nothing. They would all just sit in base, win trade, etc. Ppl would literally be afk gold farming in unranked and that would collapse the economy of the game. Any sort of afk farming is bad for the game because everyone would do it. Then whatever rewards are there to be had becomes redundant because everyone would have it. You can currently watch ppl afk farm dungeon gear and other cosmetics in public lobbies. As in game skins have no value in the game, it does not affect the economy of the game, but encouraging this type of afk gameplay is not healthy to the game. I don't think this is true.... the same could be enacted in ranked at the bottom of the leaderboard if this was a possibility.... seems like just worst-case scenario for something that could easily be dealt with by anet by tieing pips to win streaks etc
  5. as opposed to other parts of the game we're playing in organized groups yield better results I fail to see how that is bad... as anyone could have the ability to do that.

Well I see where your coming from But at least in regards to WVW I think most people see the Loot bags as the primary source of Loot I don't really feel like its as big of a deal in WvW.... also there is really nothing in Edge of the Mist that you can't do in regular WvW so its unlike Ranked and Unranked in that regard as well. You could not be more wrong, WvW loot bags are just an additional loot that mostly gives t5/t6 mats, everything else comes from reward tracks and weekly pip chests like the skirmish tickets that you need to craft legendary gear.I don't understand your last statement EoTM and WvW are just like Ranked and Unranked even in the fact that both lets you progress towards a reward track but not towards the pip system.Eh I play a lot of WvW that hasn't been my exp other then Niche stuff (which isn't really what we're going for here but I don't discount your point...) reward tracks are in all forms of WVW and SPVP so that really doesn't factor into this... What I meant was there is very little you can do in the edge of the mist that you cant simply do in Regular WVW however in Spvp, you can not form groups larger than 2 in ranked NOR can you feel comfortable playing anything less than your main class without fear of costing you rank points. unranked serves for that but there is no reason the rewards should be any less I hope this clarifies

  8. Im curious what you guys think about adding PiPS to unranked? Ranked has both leaderboard and PiPS(rewards) so I find it very Unrewarding to switch gears and play with a handful of friends in unranked ....any reason why Unranked shouldn't have Pips.. In my opinion, the difference in Unranked and Ranked should be just that....That Ranked is Ranked and has a leaderboard and Unranked does not... I don't think the rewards need to be any different... curious what everyone else's thought is.

I agree with most of the other comments here... simple Aoe and all the adds are gone for the most part... 1v3 is going to be tough no matter what 3v3 there should be enough AoE that clones and minions shouldn't last more than a few seconds.... as for not wanting to mouse target... I think your forgetting that this game does need to have some skill 2 it and pressing tab for all fights does not lend to that....
  10. I was playing SPVP scourage/Reaper all day yesterday with a 90% win rate the only loses tho was typically when the team had a dead eye.... Idk how to fix it so I can't be that critical but I will say that getting one-shot (no exaggeration) from stealth with no warning or counter play potential feels bad... I will say that i was running demolisher amulet which is def a glassyish amulet so Maybe the counter is not running glassy stuff....however, I feel into today's meta you have 2 so idk.
  11. As a necro main I think solo queing its probably a weaker class bc it relies on not getting caught out in 1v2s (which for the most part is a player awareness thing more then necro thing.) But, id say its one of the worst solo que classes at least reaper/ base necro I don't really care for scourage I think it prolly does fine in spvp
  12. there would be the same 6 teams over and over. the solo q'rs who seem to represent the majority of this game would rise in rebellion and anet would be forced to appease them, probably making a solo q only in the process. it would be a step backwards. with ATs more frequently everyone wins. i dont agree that there would be the same 6 teams but even if i subscribe to that.... let that be the issue with team que and that way those same 6 teams can que without having to wait for some arbitrary timer to effectively do the same thing.... solo que wouldnt have much of a leg to stand on unless theyd want to merge que which is exactly what happened in the past

I mean, I like your enthusiasm... but that'd still be cratering to a single side. if you want to fight the same 20 people over and over and over, be my guest. that number whatever it is would get substantially smaller during off hours. it would be a waste of resources. I think unranked/ ranked should be solo only and ATs should happen more often, scaling in duration so that no matter how many teams sign up there is at least a 10 minute break before the start of the next one.what your suggesting is team que with more steps lol there should be a team que just the way it is
  15. Team Queue will never be back because players voted for SoloQ in October 2016. You have to accept that, just like many others did and quit the game. This online product needs to adapt to customer demands; it's how a business thrives and creates profits. I don't think Spvp is making much profit..... and just bc a company makes a change for the worse doesn't mean it can't be undone....also that vote was a sham it was for a trial run not a permanent fix i even voted for it to see how it would be I was sorely disappointed and I can't be the only one who wanted it to change back alas there was never a revote. tbh i don't think there a chance, since 80% of the player base are soloqers, even if you teamq you can't team q all the time, you will still soloq, but if you soloq u can soloq all the time. Right now you'd be crazy to be a premade player.... so yea most people are solo queue. But i DONT think that is out of preference just lack of choice... You are clearly going off topic here, this topic here is about soloq and duoq and how duoq is affecting the game.it has nothing about 5menq, if you want to talk about it, you can start another thread about how 5menq should have it's own Q and there you can tell me more about how removing 5menq killed the game im agreeing that duo q is toxic.... and the ques should be seperate hows that not on topic when the topic is to get rid of duo q in solo que you just dont agree with my solution which is to create a seperate que but very well I don't really care about the solution tbh, i only care about the results, as long as high end duoq is separated from soloq, in one way or another, like limit duoq to below 1500/1600 or having an entire separate Q. it all works for me. but as dev stated, current population doesnt support two Qs, one of the Qs will certainly be dead while killing the population harshly for both Qs, and we all know which Q will be deadsure thats fair.. if one que is "dead" it wouldnt effect the other at all LOL but we both know that wouldnt be the case ;-) and the pop is like that bc of previous choices made by PvP dev team/ community spvp its in current state doesnt exactly inspire new players to come play it between wvw pve and pvp but hey ill leave it alone.
