Thanks for the insight, I can definitely see some valid points here. I can also understand why some people want to just level up & PPT train, but for me it’s about the fights. To me there is nothing more fun than two or three organized groups engaging in battle, outnumbered or not, to see who can sustain the most. FYI I am not fighting NSP & do not wish to name any servers or commanders, this thread was just to find out real reasons why people snipe commanders constantly instead of running meta support/damage builds as part of a larger team. To each there own I guess.

Both are fair comments.

Because some commanders get so annoyed they rage quit. When it's happening constantly during every engagement I would get tired of it fast too. I have not experienced it myself as I do not drive, but I know of many commanders who have.

I was just wondering what the actual point of sniping an enemy commander constantly is? Is it to kill the content and go back to fighting doors/walls? Or is it just for lol's?I am struggling to think of an actual reason why so many people do this. Please enlighten me!

I run Celestial/Grieving as gives great sustainability, and I also run Axe/Offhand - Scepter/Torch. Feed from Coruption is a great option for sustainability too imo. Never forget the number one job of a Scourge is boonstrip, with DPS falling into second place.

You really want rank 2k+? Then you gotta earn it. Join a WvW orientated guild & learn how to become part of the team. The best way to get EXP is by participating! Play daily, not for hours on end, but for as long as you are having fun. Use boosters like the ones you can get from the Laurel merchant, and of course birthday boosters when you have them. I started playing WvW just to get the armor but ended up getting so much more by joining [DED], I got an online family that I wanted to spend time having fun with. It took me about 13 months to get to rank 2k & get the armor I wanted, and now I WvW just as much to have fun with my new friends!

Thinking outside the square here, but maybe they mean it will be unlocked once you reach the 'Gold" rank?
