Yeah, it's a very frustrating experience, I agree. I never found a spot where I could get on the skiff for the Jokopu, which means I couldn't use Zephyrite Jerky. So I resorted to fishing on foot - and immediately logging out to the character select screen afterwards, to maximize the time I had on Fishing Tips. Then log back in and repeat. When the optimal way to play the game is to log out, there's something wrong.

Any elite guarding a hero point in EOD does the trick, and gives you a breakbar daily at the same time.

No thanks, not fun for me. I had way too much of being spammed with duel requests over and over, and people dueling on top of RP sessions, in SWTOR.

I'll third that HARD NO. A week of open-world PVP is a week in which I don't log in at all.

I like the SOTO launcher image much better than the EOD one.

It's fixed for me - I logged in and immediately got the finished achievement pop-up. But yeah, I wish they would include stuff like this in the patch notes. They didn't even put in that we can now deposit kryptis inventory junk, jade runestones, and A.S.S.es.

Yep. I got into GD right as the end meta (part 2) was starting. Jumped in and participated. Did not get credit for the weekly. 😒

Just tested what @Lan Deathrider.5910 wrote out and I can confirm. Thanks so much for outlining all that. I could not gather stardust, only XP, from floating motes I gathered stardust from approximately 30-35 turrets Then I was able to get stardust from floating motes again (but not turrets) Update: #3 persists even after relogging (before reset).

Okay, I just caught my participation draining. It was about 40 or 50% after the first event, then I had to afk for a while, and when I got back before summoning the second set of guardians, it was about 22%. I joined the group hitting the boss on the spire, all the while watching my participation drain 1-2% at a time. While I was actively participating by hitting the boss. It only stopped draining once I started hitting the champion during the second set of guardian summoning events. The veteran and lower rank mobs apparently didn't count. Not cool, Anet. Not cool.

I didn't even know there was a new fishing achieve until I saw this post, so thanks for that. The one frustrating me the most right now is the desert fish in Skywatch, which you can't even use skiff on because the water isn't deep enough, which also means you can't even cheese it with Zephyrite Jerky. It pretty much requires you to go get the Tips on Fishing, which I find tedious. What I've been doing to maximize the time available with Tips of Fishing is to go do the one desert fishing hole, log out, do something else for five minutes while the fishing hole refreshes, log back in, etc. This is effective but really ridiculous in that the best way to achieve this particular game goal is to log out.
