We talked in-game for a short while, but that is not really the medium for longer conversations. I'm currently in an USA guild with an -11 hour time difference. This means their weekly agenda: WvW, HoT/PoF trains, World Boss train, Fractals, Raiding & Guild Missions that happen in their evening will happen for me in the next day mornings. Most of them I can do, but after 1-2 hours I have to start working. Hence I'm looking for a local time guild and SG is +1 hour from me. I had a quick look at your web site to get an idea of your guild. Before switching or temporary joining, I have some questions: Is this an elite/hardcore guild or also for newcomers and casual players? On the first page of this topic the major focus is on Raids.Do you have a daily activity schedule like I mentioned in the agenda? For newcomers and alts you can get 250 HP and a few MP in a HoT run, which is great for maxing (elite) skill. How talkative and helpful are your members? When you ask a question or seek assistance, you expect an answer within 5 mins or so when there are 15+ people online. It's even better when people that are better at JPs help you with a teleporting mesmer or teleport gadget. Some people may even plant an alt at the end of one for future assistance. Some members expect you to do storylines all by yourself as they are "easy". For older gamers and newcomers they might be difficult. I don't expect an experienced player to hold my hand every time, but I would love it if people do them together as it is more fun and it is less frustrating if you keep dying and can't find out what you are doing wrong. What is your view on this?In my current guild there are people that almost have full home instances and invite people to gather materials. With years playing comes knowledge and I seem to lack a lot of it. Do you have "lore officers" that help you improve your crafting, fighting, etc? I had to get most of my knowledge from YouTube and only recently found out there even was a home instance.
