  1. Par for the course. After all those years, it's still disappointing but expected. Charr are an afterthought
  2. This should happen on April 1st. Free cat tail, ears and paws on the Gem store. When you use them... you turn into a regular Charr.
  3. I'd be in trouble if my GW2 was physical... I haven't had a disk player on my system in years.
  4. Green is notoriously hard on GPUs ( I'm kidding, don't kill me )
  5. When was the last mention of Magdaer? How many LWS ago ? My last memory is just prior to HoT. They've gone through some writers since and it's likely the new ones don't know about it or have other plans. I reserve the right to be happily surprised but I doubt we'll hear from it again. ( Yes, I'm fun at parties) 😄
  6. That's what I'm saying. They pushed it to live without thorough testing. It looks good on humans? Yes! Ship it!
  7. I like the running on all fours animation personally but I would not be opposed to give players the option of choosing to run on two. ( It's certainly no skin off my nose). However, there are two of those in game currently. The one where the character holds weapons in his hands, which we are all familiar with and the one you see unarmed NPCs using around the black citadel, which looks goofy af. If the first is chosen, you Charr will forever be running with his left shoulder leaning forward. If the later, well let's just say I don't expect that one to be very popular. All this to say, they'd probably have to rig up a new running animation which I don't see happening. I'd rather they just have every Charr use the all fours running animation, PC or NPC if only to unify the theme but I know that's just me. The more animalistic running gait is one of the many things that attracted me to the race way back when. NB: Oh and this as been asked for by certain players since 2012.
  8. Charr NPCs often wear a combination of common clothes outfit ( top in this case) and other items that remain to this day unreleased ( bottom part) even though all the work has already been done and the files are in the game. I believe it has to do with the impossibility to adapt them easily to other races. ( Don't get me started on why it's okay for Charr to get half assed conversions of gear designed for humans though) Short answer: Nothing in the medium weighted armor fits that look
  9. I play almost exclusively Charr and AM I put off by these specific features. There's not a single haircut for Charr male released after vanilla that I would consider using. The females fare slightly better in that regard. The OP has a point, regardless of style, Anet needs to approach Charr hair cuts as manes and at the risk of going on a tangent that goes for helmets too. By mane I mean consider the top of the head, the area between the horns ( forehead), the ridge of the neck and the sides. Imagine how popular the Pyre Circlet would be with Charr if it actually went down the length of the neck rather than stick to a spot between the horns. They have created interesting styles in the past but they end up being just too large. We all know the super saiyan hair cut but there are others who would have been fine had they not emptied tree bottles of volumizer into their hair when styling it.
  10. I don't think they've ever retroactively modified an item that wasn't broken once it hits the gem store. (Someone correct me if I'm wrong) That being said, I don't think you'll find anyone disagreeing with this. We'd all love to see it happen. (but not at 1600 gems mind you )
  11. Adding my voice for Charr tank Siege turtle skin !
