  1. It only gets better. IMO Season 4 of the Living Story could’ve been its own expansion. But agreed on all points, I loved Path of Fire (and still do!) Edit: Yes, meant Season 4–thank you Tanner!
  2. Use a third party program, knowing it isn’t supportedGrow dependant on that programGet angry when it’s taken away after becoming dependant on itWant to keep using it / have the official version be exactly the same, because dependancyThere’s no “evolving” about it. That’s just the entire basis of this thread / the “comparisons” to Arc’s Templates. At least own it instead of pretending otherwise, y’know?
  3. The greenlight is for the program’s adhereance to the TOS and COC. Period. That’s it—nothing more, nothing less. It does not cover how you use it, problems that may arise from that use, how others use it, how future changes to the addon may break the TOS / COC for whatever reason, support from Anet themselves, nor your own dependancy on the program itself. One of the biggest reasons Anet is so against official support for 3rd Party Programs is so that none of them become a necessity. “Use at your own risk” is more than just for technical issues. It extends to “grow dependant on it at your own risk” too. That is what people need to understand.
  4. One more question is how I can watch Gw2Hook status? I mean how to check after a few month is it ok with changes etc. You will need to update GW2 Hook with every patch, which there will always be a changelog to look over if you wish—so keeping updated is just part of using it anyway. Don’t be afraid to play with the graphic settings that come with GW2 Hook—it’s not a bannable offense. What’s bannable is if someone downloaded GW2 Hook, then edited it to allow them to see through walls in PvP games—or some other blatant exploit like that. Just altering the settings that comes with the standard GW2 Hook is perfectly fine.
  5. You seriously think a MMORPG can work like that? Nope--already tried, already failed. (But was a hell of a show to watch before it was fixed.) It could work if there was a way to have continuously new things happening all the time somewhere in the game. Like Healix said : in the distant future (maybe).Still a hard pass. Then it's just the same situation, only you tell the person "Well, you could go watch this other movie instead?" And hope they forget about wanting to watch the first one as it slowly deletes itself while it plays.
  6. Op asks for constructive criticism, feedback, and suggestions.Stays true to the thread's purpose for a while, was pleasantly surprised.Thread slowly devolves into whining, complaining, and comparisons--which is the opposite of the thread's purpose.Sorry Asum, you tried.
  7. Ah, yes—wasn’t long until Delta’s templates made it back into the debate. Was interesting while it lasted at least.
  8. Every addon is “use at your own risk”, and unsupported by ArenaNet. However, the application itself is currently greenlit as far as TOS and COC is concerned—and the developer has been trustworthy. Just don’t edit it to explot the game and there should be no problem using it to improve your graphics. Also, the talk of bans due to using addons was just bandwagoning on false information—the bans were for cheating in PvP.
  9. It does sound like a fun idea--but I feel like it would only be a temporary improvement until it eventually fades into "more of the same--only harder". What would really help improve the labyrinth is if it had a Meta of its own--something that could utilize the two giant visages of the Mad King and the Bloody Prince that stand in the center and bicker the entire time. Unfortunately, even if they do end up improving the holiday events--it definitely won't be for this year. But nothing wrong with laying some groundwork ahead of time.
  10. In terms of adding additional suggestions to this thread to go with yours, here's three more I could think of off the top of my head: Allowing Gear Templates to be shareable via chat codes as well. I'm sure there are technical reasons why it's a bit more difficult to achieve than with Build Templates, but it just seems kinda uneven that both can't be shared. Plus, it'd just help in general. Tab Filtering - Perhaps an additional way to help increase the maximum amount of tabs available (and to help cut down on how many someone needs to buy) would be filters. Let's say, for example, you have the 3 templates everyone starts with, right? Well, if they were filtered by the mode you're in, those 3 would be set to that mode. If you're in PvE maps, all 3 will be available for PvE. The moment you enter a PvP map, the filter shifts to PvP--meaning all 3 would be for PvP. The same for WvW. Going back to a different map just loads in your templates under that filter without overwriting the others. Then there would be some "Master List" window showing all of them if you wanted to edit them outside of their filtered zones. I already mentioned it in my previous post here, but it was such a good idea that I just want to reiterate it.

  12. I think you were so ready to argue/debate with me that you didn't even see I agreed with the point, lmao.
  13. Did you watch the stream? They said currently code gets messy at more than 6. Currently means "could change in the future"--which I already agreed it needs to in that case.
