  1. might be, but who knows. seeing how inconsistent they are with their supposed "streamlining" of skills lol.
  2. true, but warr tether requires you to hit full counter which has a very distinctable effect and dh spear of justice is a pretty big obvious projectile. plus they both break off once you move past the initial cast range and both have a way shorter duration, with 8s on warri and 6s for dh while also only pulsing burn every 4 secs in pvp. so a duration of 1,5 mins and pusling vuln, slow + cripple every sec seems out of line. not to mention the onboxiously oversized effect for the tether.
  3. the inital activation distance for the skill is 900, but once tethered you can extend the distance far beyond 900 before it breaks off. u can almost double the distance, thats where the 1600 comes from all while still pulsing the effects. at least test it yourself before you dismiss other ppls experience. 😅

Otherworldly Bond (skill 3) is fking broken in pvp and wvw. not only does it completely ignore line of sight once its attached but also does'nt get canceled when the caster gets cced nor when the target goes into stealth, all while perma upkeeping cripple and slow with max stacks over a distance of 1600 or more for the full duration of 1,5 mins. the same for the pull, its works out of sight and over the full distance. this is ridicilous for only 3 upkeep and with such a short cd. heavily reduce the overal duration of the tether AND increase the intervall of the the applied conditions in pvp/wvw as well as the cd of the skill. and make it so that los matters, as well as ways to break the tether by cc or whatever. who came up with this bs? skill 2 is fine other than the cd being too short in pvp, autoattack is scaling too well with healingpower, getting 1000+ barrier each 3 hits might be way too strong.

Don't worry, if you are looking for a tanky ele build just look up builds under the wvw category on metabattle.com. bunker condi catalyst being one of the most broken builds in wvw right now should make pve an absolute breeze. if the build is able to easily tank 3 to 5 people fighting it then some mobs really shouldnt be a problem. its certainly not the most efficient build for pve, but should serve the purpose you are looking for.
  6. So, when switching between build templates, placed Supply Removal Traps and Target Painter Traps disappear. They dont when switching between gear templates though. And no, they dont just despwan because of the internal timer, they literally disappear right after placement when i switch builds. Quite annyoing, even tho Im probaly the only one using these traps anyways. Can someone confirm this? Is this a general thing or somewhat specific to me.
  7. Thats what I always think when a new jackal skin comes out. Like "Oh come on, couldnt that have been a warclaw skin for once?" Do ppl even use jackal? Isnt it either just raptor, bug or skyscale by now?
  8. As I said before, it's mainly for testing. I remembered from back in the days when wvw still was used for leveling that the upscaling of low lvl chars gave better stats than a lvl 80 char had if you had lvl appropriate gear, so I just wanted to fool around abit with it. I'm mainly looking for trinkets, since leveling gear seems to be the best in slot for <80. Tyvm for the suggestions, I'll give them a try.
  9. This much is what I figured out myself, but thank you anyways. I was just hoping that maybe some of the other item listing or crafting sites would maybe have such complete list. Guess Ill have to manually look for all the stuff then. And Im aware of the fast leveling, this is just for testing purposes. Again, ty for the reply.

Maybe Im too stupid or simply never had to deal with this issue, but how does one get a list of all the equipment available in the game for lets say a lvl 50 character, including all the crafted, karma, drops, dungeon rewards etc? wiki really is a pain, I cant seem to look for equipment just by lvl... Id appreciate if anyone had any ideas how to go about this.
  11. speak for urself pls. all of the few ppl still playing the game from back then i know speak highly of season 1. still by far the best season/experience to date in my opinion too, both story-wise and how they used their world to tell the story. imagine they would have continued in this way. maybe we wouldnt get an empty new map every few months no one plays in after every1 grinded his/her map-specific 100est currency. instead they would add content to existing maps, change them around, destroy things, build new ones etc. THAT eould have been the way to keep old maps relevant and interesting. regarding the complains about missing replayability: just turn old events/bossfights into fracs, simple as that. sure, u wont be able to play the whole story this way, but lets be honest: the lw-episodes we have now are mostly cohesive and dont require any knowledge of previous one anyways. just add some sort of hystorian-npc that gives u a recap of the rpevous ecvents u missed, maybe even with the cutscenes etc. and wed be good to go. the only real issue i ever had with season one were the technical difficulties. serious lag, dcs snd overall poor performance during large events. which didnt change much in 7 years, im looking at u wvw and bossrush...
  12. I mainly use the miniature-tonic on charr and norn charakters, since it makes their animations look faster, or rather not slowed down. For fracs i use the mini one to make my charr not be a fking bother to everyone when u have to do the jp-parts on those small platforms and so every1 (including myself) can actually see the mobs im hitting. Whenever i see a giant charr with some even bigger backpack/backpiece cluttering my screen makes me want to kick them from the grp immediately. As for the mount-issue, i either use the axe-toy (which looks hillarous on tiny chars btw) or simply use a asigned shortcut key to get in and out of the tonic quickly. I have a shortcut asigned to the axe-toy as well, making things quite convenient to use.
