  1. yeah it's an extreme nerf for something that wasn't even meta. Nerfes are being applied with the sledgehammer method. Instead of some fine-tuning this build was just gutted.
  2. rip any build that used bulwark gyro. Especially the cd increase was complete overkill.
  3. that's not what i wanted to say. Guardian doesn't need stronger range pressure. what i wanted to say is if the dps in melee is significantly lower than other dps builds while also having weak range pressure and a weak burst then it's just dead. Why would you ever play it when the build doesn't have anything going for it. I understand that this build should be weaker than the meta dps builds because it's so easy to play but now i would consider using hammer trolling because the dps is so low and you have all these other downsides.

  5. Was this extreme nerf really justified? Hammer already had major drawbacks as you have weak range pressure and no burst. Hammer builds were already bad vs clouds and and any form of pirate ships. The damage of the hammer symbol was only really there in prolonged melee clashes vs other organized groups. I understand that it may have been too easy to play and therefore a small nerf (10%-15% dmg reduction) would have been justified (maybe?). But a damage nerf of 37.5% makes the symbol pitifully weak. Was this really the intention to absolutly gut hammer? Or was it maybe just a was that maybe just a typo and you meant to nerf the coefficient to .35 instead of .25? What are others thinking about this nerf?
  6. oi do you have a problem with that? If 50 people are chasing and sieging one guy that's just a way to show appreciation for the good fights they had until then.
  7. What about the port is instant? The 1.25 sec cast time? The skill being a finisher is pretty much worthless because, a) it deals 0 dmg so you cannot insta kill people with low hp and b) because you cannot finish people when there are other players around. That means in order to use that skill to finish someone you have to play without an elite for the entire fight only to then stomp your enemy who has to be alone 1 or 2 sec faster than you normally would. Great value. And i get that this scary full cele but yet still dragon or zerk willbender is scary. To have great dmg, sustain and boons all in one build is really op. Just be glad that this build doesn't exist in the game. And i am sorry that you are bad at the game and delusional i hope u get better 🙂
  8. the typical "2 weeks later" in this thread... cause there seems to only be a handful of players who still have more problems with wb than they have with others classes and every now and then they have to leave a little rant in the forums. and cryorion i don't get your point.. the elite was a total meme before and the 0.5 sec evade doesn't change much about that. The ability to finish people might as well not be there at all cause you'd play without an elite then if you wanted to save it for a finish. It also deals no dmg so you can't insta kill low hp targets like you can with banner for example. FMW is similar... the 3.5 sec superspeed is a nice buff but i don't see many guardians running this elite even after the buff. Of course anet could have nerfed renewed focus instead but that would mean that that elite would be too strong which imo it is not.
  9. while we are at it... every third auto in shroud should insta finish downed opponents and infusing terror should pulse fear for it's duration.

  11. the way it was worded this "finisher" won't be used at all. First of all you have to give up an actual usefull elite for it and the worst thing is it doesn't finish the enemy when there are other enemies around the downed person. That sounds like you can only finish people when they have noone around them who could potentially help them and in that situation you wouldn't even need that finisher because you can stomp or cleave normally.
  12. do we know the numbers yet? for the heal on chill? also ice relic has 30 sec icd. And it's bugged too atm so ice relic will be fixed at some point.
  13. many classes have no specific counter to boons/sustain or have reveal. Cele ele is extremely durable, does very good damage and depending on the weaponset is also extremely mobile. Catalyst for example handles 1vx situations better than any other class (aside from stealth spamming thieves) and doesn't just manage to survive outnumbered situations but with all it's aoe and 100% uptime on stabiliy and almost every other boon in the game it has very good kill pressure. There is also almost no class with comparable sustain, utility and damage (maybe harbinger but harbinger gets destroyed in any outnumbered fight and is hardcountered by projectile blocks).
  14. I'd say vindi is even stronger than renegade. It's mostly the shortbow in combination with cele stats that make this class so oppressive. And imo cele dagger catalyst is still a whole tier above cele rev. Thief and cele ele reign supreme as the top strongest roamers since many years.
  15. hundred blades: yes arcing slice: i agree too bladetrail: i'd prefer making gs4 unblockable. Warrior gs has almost no range pressure and this change would make it at least somewhat of a threat. A pull on the return of the blade would be super unreliable. Also unblockable gs4 would mean u could use it in wvw.
