  1. Fishing Party Catches buff should carry over to the same map but different instance, especially if the map is closing
  2. Mizuki from the New Kaineng Blackout meta gets stuck at times when defending the breaker box. This has happened numerous times already. Can you please take a look at this? It’s bad enough that the meta takes around 30 mins to complete, so this bug occurring in the middle of the meta wastes plenty of time
  3. If you're playing on EU servers, you can join me as I command a squad to do DE everyday starting at 10PM UTC. I give instructions on what to do, the mechanics, and others. The only thing I ask is that you pay attention and do events; no AFKs allowed. So far, we have never failed DE since I started commanding.
  4. As the title. I think it would help a lot, especially for a large squad led by a commander in PvE, to add the ability to queue to the map that the commander is in. Right now, we only have "Join in <map name>", but when the map is full or bottlenecks, You have to click on the "Ok" button of the dialog box, and do it again and again until you actually get into the map. I think that adding a queue option, such as "Enqueue in map", would really greatly help. I sometimes lead an entire 50-man squad and some people have to click hundreds of times just to get in the same map instance as I am in. Just a thought
  5. Because of lack of currency on certain strikes, LI is the "go to" currency for killproof. That's why some commanders in EU ask for boneskinner KP instead. Another thing is that you can register your account in killproof.me and just give the link to the commander as well. For Harvest Temple, I've been saying it before, but I think that the Void chest you get at the end may be the killproof people may need; especially since CMs are coming soon for EoD strikes. But let's see.
  6. Add an "enqueue" option to queue up in a PvE map if the map that you wish to jump to is full, and show how far off you are in the queue. Currently, if a 50-man squad is split up from the commander, you have to keep on spamming "Join in <map name>", hopeful that you will get in. An enqueue option (like the one in WvW) would go a long way IMO.
  7. You know that fractals come in tiers, right? 1-25 are novices and you can play however you want, without AR. Tier 2 is a bit higher but still doable without AR. You just have to focus a bit. Also, I do not understand how you came to the conclusion that AR forces you to play only for certain characters. What? Where did that come from?
  8. That's actually a funny joke from EoD. And if you disagree, then... COME SAY THAT TO MY FACE.
  9. Make your own group in LFG then? If you even want, you can even say "no requirements and no skills required, come with blue or green gear if you like and press random things on the keyboard".
  10. Is this what you're looking for? Server reset - Guild Wars 2 Wiki (GW2W)
  11. I watched this video, and I think what WP was referring to was the pre-nerf "no greens" tactic, where one person and one person only was supposed to do greens, and if there was another person who did do greens and doesn't complete the wisp phase, then that's a solid 2 minutes down the drain.
  12. I can already see raid sellers seeing the opportunity to drain people's in game gold by selling the strike mission to those who don't want to do it.
  13. Okay, so you pointed out elitism. We will come back to this. Wrong! It was only you who claimed that the topic of the actual thread is about an Open World Meta which was badly designed for the intended audience. The topic, which is the very first post by the author, is this: THIS is the topic: The author pleading with Anet to not nerf the fight and that auto attacks aren't enough, people have to pay attention to what's happening, and if they do nerf the fight, only add an extra minute to the timer on the boss fight. When you asked me to "stay within the topic of the actual thread", you were not asking me to actually stay on topic, you wanted to shift the discussion to what you wanted it to be under the guise of "staying on topic". And if you insist that I still went off-topic, then I can also say that you also went off-topic: Your reply on elitism is off-topic because it doesn't agree, disagree, or discuss the OP's plea to Anet. Your reply on Dragon's Stand and Tangled Depths is off-topic because it doesn't agree, disagree, or discuss the OP's plea to Anet. Your reply on the patch notes is off-topic because it doesn't agree, disagree, or discuss the OP's plea to Anet. Your reply on asking me how "elitism" applies to open world content is off-topic because it doesn't agree, disagree, or discuss the OP's plea to Anet. Your reply on alleging that I have no actual argument and how we were not talking about raids is off-topic because it doesn't agree, disagree, or discuss the OP's plea to Anet. Any reply that you make regarding this reply is also off-topic because it doesn't agree, disagree, or discuss the OP's plea to Anet.
  14. So you took out of context what I was saying and you applied it to mean that I was implying open world when I did not. Let me bring up the actual post I made and your comment: This is what I said and your emphasis on what I said in bold and in italics even: I don't think it killed raids at all. I raid every week and as long as you can show KP and do the mechanics in raids it's fine. We all want to succeed but if one person can't do the mechanics then of course the com will kick them out of the raids. And then you comment on that was: It is very clear that I was talking about raids; the first sentence itself says it. "I don't think it killed raids at all". The second sentence even has a qualifier that says "...kick them out of the raids".
  15. Just wanted to clarify that DE is an open world meta event. It is not a raid. Raids are different. Here's the definition of what a raid is, from Anet itself: "Raids are 10-player, instanced, elite dungeon content that's a challenge unlike anything we've previously released in Guild Wars 2. These raids are meant to put you and your teammates to the test and challenge you to grow your skills as Guild Wars 2 players. Raids are our answer to what skilled PvE players have to look forward to at endgame—the ultimate test to overcome and defeat." source: Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns (guildwars2.com) Also, they already released an update to DE a few days. ago: Upcoming Changes to "The Battle For The Jade Sea" - Guild Wars 2 Discussion - Guild Wars 2 Forums The longer duration for exposed (and thus the burn phase) and reduced time for the wisp phase really helps a lot.
