Further to this post.... it seems that the toon I bought these extra slots on is bugged now. Just did my morning farm of flax, in Verdant Brink and Draconis Mons. No flax in my bags... NO, I didn't deposit materials... Every other toon I farmed on this morning (14 toons) did not have this problem.

I posted this earlier today in tech support forum.. but I guess it's a bug report. Does one have to submit a ticket somewhere? Haven't had any bugs really in thousands of hours of gameplay.. so don't actually know. Here's what I posted... So.. this morning I noticed shared slots were on sale. I purchased 5 of them. I already had 16. Once I had them, I wanted to pull a couple of things out of my bank and put them in the shared slots. One was the "Invite to the Party" item that transports you to whichever festival is going on at the time. That one isn't such a big deal. The other item was the permanent Silver-Fed Salvage-O-Matic. I don't want to have to buy that one again. I've had it for years. It was in my bank, because I was trying to use up the many Mystic Salvage Kits I had made. All I did was double-click each item while it was sitting in my bank...which I've done hundreds of times for items and they just go into your character's bags. This time.. they just disappeared. I didn't just drag them directly into the shared slots. Double-clicked them.. and they just vanished. I did this with a few other little items, like some wool scraps... a few bronze ingots... same thing.. POOF. Would love to get them back, Thanks. This happened around 7:40AM, Pacific Time. Thanks A couple of replies suggested that I should check my bags to make sure they were open, or that things don't go directly into shared slots... I know this.. I"ve played since release... I've taken things out of bank by double clicking, hundreds of times.. never a problem.. they go into your toon's bags.. not the shared slots.. the bags... The things just went POOF. I did a search on my bags.. on my bank.... just.. gone. The shared slots never came into play, as I never got the chance to put the items into the shared slots, as they never showed up in my bags.

yes.. I checked my bags.. I've played for 8 years. Double checked.. checked again.... Yes.. bags are open... not closed... checked everything.. they just... vanished... I can understand that sometimes people have brain cramps.. or new players don't realize certain basic things. this is not the case here. and no.. they don't go automatically into shared slots from the bank. I know this .. they go into your bags, if you double click them from the bank. I have done this hundreds of times. This time.. they just disappeared.

Sorry for resurrecting an old thread, but I JUST ran into this yesterday. Bank tabs went on sale, so I bought a couple.Yes... my bad for not checking/counting how many tabs I already had, but as Heibi.4251 pointed out...it still appeared on BLTP, whereas other things that are maxed don't. Like.. Garden plots. So... wasted 420 gems. Not the end of the world, but still a waste and disappointing. Considering this is not something new, perhaps Anet might address it?

Thanks for your replies...Thinking about it more, there's not really anything to be done. Even if they could flag the account or whatever, the person could just create a new account.And creepy isn't really a crime, that's trueAnd shejesa.3712 I suppose it could come across as snowflakish, sure... but I'm not really concerned for myself. I can manage just fine. It's others that could be victimized that is more of a concern.

So I've played this game for 7 years, and never encountered the situation I did this morning.I had a random person say hello...that's not unusual... but throughout the whole convo they remained listed as Offline.At first it was general questions about how long I've played, what do I do in the game...Eventually it turned to age...the person focused on 30 being really old...I gave fairly generic responses...eventually they asked my age and I chose not to answer.They didn't message me after that. So...nothing REALLY wrong about the whole convo, but just a really creepy vibe off of it. I didn't see a category to report that really matched that, so I'm not sure what to do about this. I really feel like this is someone looking for young people online.I took numerous screenshots and got their account name as well.Suggestions?
