I played guild wars 1, got all the rewards and I agree with the op, seriously, it has been long enough. why would it matter if people could earn the HoM things in guild wars 2?

I remember i was bothered by a lot of things in the way they managed their earlier expansions, which is why I didn't buy heart of thorns before path of fire was a thing so I don't know if that was part of what i didn't like or i just did not notice. anyway just because something was done badly in the past doesn't mean it should be repeated in the future...

don't get me wrong i am going to prepurchase the expansion pack, but really? title for money? what is the point? title should be earned, i realy think it should be removed or replaced. titles are on a bad place as is, don't make them worse

Dident it say dragon aid missions was 1-5 players so then that imply its instanced since otherwise people could zerg it. Maybe it's going to be a variation of Bounties.It spawns like a normal bounty, but only the one who took the mission and their group can fight it.Others can only watch the fight.and how would you prevent others from fighting it? the best Arena Net have managed thus far is to let everyone who already entered fight keeping others outside, but no entering limitation

you will not appreciate anything and will take no pleasure. Possibly the two worst episodes in living history since scarlet and the worst map in the game. according to their article, I don't see anything that speaks of a new map. I can sense simple invasions happening to existing content. I hope I am wrong ... maybe the reason so many didn't like it was because it had no voice acting in it and everyone grunted

They said the champions release will begin at the 17th of November

I mean seriously.... some of us here were not playing the last two episodes of icebrood saga at all. While I think this could have been a great opportunity to delay releases a month giving you time for more preparations, you could have at least given us a week or two to enjoy the last two chapters before moving the entire population from the last two episodes map to a new one.

They advised that they would be recording in September, unknown when it will be released. Saving my alt play throughs for when it’s voice recorded. they suggested that by September, the cutscenes would have been finished and that in September they would begin doing the rest of the content (voicing npc's,foes, etc). since I only care for the instanced content (story) being voiced and don't mind at all everything else being non-voiced (and I assumed most of the skippers feel the same) I have expected for this part to be the main focus and already voiced? for those not skipping, Is it entirely not voiced and they are going to bring all voices at once or is there voice speech here and there being added within updates?

Think of the living world seasons as mini expansion packs, the story goes from the main game to season 1 which is now a small video and a few memories happening in the icebrood saga (you can find the entire episode in youtube as a 3 hours movie, it is quite good if the story is important to you).after season two comes the heart of thorns expansion. then season 3 which after comes path of fire expansion and then the season 4 and then the icebrood saga. short versionmy story> >season2>heart of thorns>season 3>path of fire>season 4>icebrood saga

full disclosure I did not pay anything to get any episode as I was always there to get free episodes I think that the problem here is with the initial idea of how Anet designed the storyline. unlike many other games in which every expansion/dlc is it's own saga, guild wars 2 has a continuous never ending story line. spoilersit was the same reason people got angry over trahearn taking over. if you didn't begin as sylvari, this did not make any sense. because all of the main story was one complete saga.then begins the mordremorth saga, which spans from the beginning of season 1 where scarlet briar awakens mordy, then on season 2 you get the reason to get into the jungle to fight mordy which you do in heart of thorns. end of spoilersthis problem goes on in season 3 that starts a saga that ends in path of fire. and this is more of an advertising problem rather than a cost problem.this complaints wouldn't have been if instead of bundling heart of thorns and path of fire they would have bundled each with it's own season prequel 25$ each which keeps the same price.the funny thing is heart of thorns and path of fire are not as related to one another as they are to their prequel seasons.this is the real issue, not the price
