  1. Speaking of mount preview, it would be nice to have an option to see what the mount looks like with your character riding it, rather than only the mount by itself.
  2. If we're making requests for this sort of thing, I'd also like to call out the Head of Koda helm, the heavy armor helm for the Honor or the Waves dungeon armor set. Currently, it has three dye channels: the metal top of the helm, the leather side of the helm, and the little straps on the helm. So far so good. The problem is that the helm also has a fur pelt attached to it that hangs down the back like a small cape, and for some reason that pelt is on the same dye channel as the metal top, which severely limits your coloring options. So yeah, moving the pelt to its own dye channel--or even just moving it to the third dye channel; the straps are nearly invisible, so it's not like those being the same color would be an issue--would be nice.
  3. On the topic of the high-contrast cursor options, redesign them so that the cursor's hotspot is on the actual point of the cursor in all options. Having the hotspot end up inside the cursor makes it a lot less usable.
  4. The estuary could work. On the Ascalon side, there are also some bodies of water south of Grothmar and east of Fields of Ruin that could potentially go the swampy route.
  5. After the teaser image in the latest news piece, I'm feeling pretty good about my last guess.
  6. I'm seeing Ascalon as well. Core-game Ascalon is primarily Iron Legion territory, and with Grothmar Valley we got a peek at the Blood Legion's lands, so . . . Ash Legion Homelands expansion maybe? I'd be down for that.
  7. As I understand it, they've essentially confirmed that they're officially talking about possibly doing GW3. The result of that conversation could be 'no', and even if they do actually make a new game, it'll be 5-10 years away. I'm not terribly worried about it.
  8. They mentioned that with these post-dragon expansions, they wanted to address some of the lingering mysteries of the setting (like, "what's the deal with the Wizard's Tower?" for instance), and there are some obvious follow-ups that could be done off of previous story events. The logical ones off the top of my head: Return of the gods A story where we finally learn who E is (Personally I rather hope it's not these first two, as I'd like to get some non-human-centric stories before we go back to humans, but they are logical options.) Dominion of Winds and the tengu The Thing in the ocean Malyck and the other Tree Exploring the post-Primordus Depths of Tyria with the asura Exploring the post-Jormag Far Shiverpeaks with the norn Doing a proper visit to the charr Blood or Ash homelands With the exception of the return of the gods option, they would all lend themselves to smaller-scale, non-world-threatening stories, which would be nice.
  9. Integrate something like the mount radial wheel into the core game. Option to disable other players' infusions (while leaving on spell effects and the like). Split more items off of Post-Processing into their own separate graphics options. Yeah, a fishing bait bag would be a good move. Severe consolidation of currencies. Not something I'd personally make use of, but it is weird that GW2 doesn't have official controller support. It feels like a more natural fit for GW2 than it does for most other MMOs. EDIT: Bah, that's more than five. Whatever, the list stands.
  10. Hey! An excuse to bust out the Hogfather quote:
  11. If you have the points, you may as well just use them; there is no reason to hold on to them. Mastery Points are split up by region, and can only be used for that region's Masteries, so it's not like you can save up your Central Tyria points to use on Heart of Thorns masteries, or anything like that.
  12. They really just need to make it so the pop-up will automatically disappear after, I don't know, 10 seconds? No need for it to stay up there forever.
  13. Pretty sure they don't use motion capture in GW2. To the best of my knowledge, regular hand-made animations aren't the sort of thing typically farmed out to external studios.
  14. More of a graphics request than a QoL request, but can we get Character Outlines split off from Post Processing and made its own option? Honestly, it's pretty weird that outlines are baked into Post Processing to begin with.
