Recently returned to find this change. Ruined my favorite weapon, now looks like a lame pvp chase weapon. This is why pve players hate pvp players. They are why we can't have nice things. 😒

I tried all the new weapons and these were by far the most fun. I'm not saying they are the best. Just saying while testing them, I really enjoyed using them and am hyped to get them in the game. Which is more than I can say for some of the others. ( Elementalist /Revenant )

It's funny that the main reason I never use this weapon is because I don't like Arc lightning, yet it is the only thing that didn't change . . .

That insignia was yes , but these armor recipes are not, They are a rare drop from some meta event in Vabbi. Without the armor recipes the insignias are useless. I am referring to the ascended set not the exotic set.

Ok so i spend this month getting all the mats for an ascended harrier set for my Revenant. I crafted the insignias and went to the armorsmith vendor to buy the recipes and they are not there. I then found out they are drop only and rare. You can buy them in the trading post but they are so expensive it would be cheaper to just buy the mats to recraft a different set. Is there any way to salvage these things to get any of my mats back or are they just vendor trash now?

When you get your personal level up high, I found on average I'd get 1 box every 2-3 weeks. I'd recommend also running tequatl once per reset if it falls within your time to do so, when you're not able to do fractals (they can be time consuming with the average pug group). The odds of getting it is low as well, probably a lot lower than fractals, but I've got several boxes from there as well, at worst you still get the 1 gold and tons of kitten drops + karma for about 15 minutes of your time. Ok thanks for the advice. :)

Thanks for the info. I have max crafters but the the low to mid level mats for leather and cloth needed are too expensive to buy. Because there doesn't seem to be a good way to farm these. Which is why I have trying fractals instead. Don't even know what strikes are so i'll look that up.

What exactly has a chance to drop ascended stuff? The chests you open in the fractal or the chests you get from daily fractals? I've been back almost 2 months now and have yet to get anything. I do t2 dailies every day. I'm wondering if my chances increase if I do the each daily from t1 and t2 , rather than just getting both chests doing t2. Also is there any chance from doing fractals that aren't dailies

Just wondering how we are supposed to pass this. By the time I get him under 20% the area is 50% covered with sandtraps , there are 3 waves going all the time and you have to kill 3 elementals to break his shield. All while he shoots projectiles at you that never miss. There is literally no way to survive this. Is there a way to get rid of the waves or traps? I've manged to get through story achievements 1-6 and though some were very difficult they weren't like this, it seems impossible.

No I was doing it on a second character, so that would explain it. Thank you very much for posting. :)All 3 updated right away once I went back to my main character that had already done them.

I'm wondering if these are currently bugged? I have done them several times now and they will not update. No workers ever die, I don't get hit by the large golem's attack and I make sure the golemites hit the large golem yet nothing will update. I restarted several times, then I tried to see if it would update finishing it and now I can't go back and redo it.

Thanks! The story still comes back when I zone and stays on mini map but as you said , at least it doesn't take over my compass anymore. I appreciate you taking the time to post. :)

I have been quitting it in the story menu but as I said it keeps restarting it everytime I zone. :#Also after quitting it the green icon stays on my map and on my mini map with a bright light around it.

I had to do part of Path of Fire to go to that area but didn't continue the story. I'm currently trying to clear maps and rather than pointing me to the next thing on the map, the story marker keeps resetting every time I change zones or waypoints. I can go in and manually quit the episode but as soon as I zone again it defaults back on and is rather annoying . . .

I have tried looking this up and asking in game. Only Answer I have found is in Kodash bazaar. Except that place has nothing in it but enemy npcs. I'm just trying to find out where to spend some trade contracts.
