  1. I don't want to worry you, but it could be a broken motherboard. Have you tried a different PCIe slot for your graphics card? I haven't, no. It does seem very unlikely given that other games can run for extended periods of time with no issues but I guess that could be possible.
  2. I have run the entire system on stock to no avail sadly. My first issue regarding windows updates has been resolved by uninstalling an outdated version of Rivatuner, so it seems like the two issues weren't related to begin with. I'm pretty sure the intermittent black screen issue isn't at all related to windows updates given how this particular issue has been recurring for months and the instant it started to happen, reverting the latest windows update was one of the first things I tried. Sadly no results so I've been staying up to date on them seeing as how it seems to make no difference what version of windows I run.
  3. How is your RAM's high usage percentage a problem? It is good that your OS assigns most of the data it's working with to your RAM rather than to your virtual memory (which uses your SSD/HDD and constantly reads and writes, resulting in heavy wear of the drive and a much slower processing). Never said my ram usage was a problem, just that it seems high given that it's guild wars, not exactly the most ram hungry game on the planet, or at least it shouldn't be. I doubt its a problem anyways because its not like my ram usage is excessive. It really does seem to boil down to a driver conflict with my gpu but I'm not sure what else to try. I'm on a pretty old card so driver updates aren't very frequent and I've tried numerous drivers after clean installs but still the issue persists. I'm not sure what else to try at this point.
  4. Ok, can confirm now after trying both of these things, the second issue is still not resolved :/
  5. Disable this. RivaTuner commonly causes this problem due to being outdated / caching. This is your GPU / drivers crashing and recovering. First, confirm it's still a problem without RivaTuner. When installing your GPU drivers, you want to clean install them and try different versions. Also update your motherboard's BIOS and run through any other system updates. The GPU could be starting to fail, in which case you could try a slight underclock to make it more stable. Thank you, so far uninstalling Riva tuner at least lets me start the game! I will do an extended test in WvW tonight and let you know if it also solved that issue. If not, I will go for a clean reinstall and a gpu underclock to see if that helps with anything. Will update soon, thank you so much.
  6. I have two issues, the more concerning one currently is after windows performs an update, the game refuses to run. It says "A serious error has occurred that prevents the program from continuing to run." This is my crash log:
