Been trying this just for a couple days. I find that slow, telegraphed dagger skills are rather hard to land most of the time, which hampers damage quite a bit. This causes me to rely primarily on short bow, which is mostly utility. Any thoughts on how to make the most of d/d versus highly mobile targets like thieves or other rangers?

That's very insightful, thank you! I was surprised to see the Mesmers there. I know Misha plays Mes, but otherwise I thought the rest had bailed over to thief or rev. Of course, this info strongly reinforces what we know to be meta, but updates/overviews each season might help pick up on sleeper specs that can broaden gameplay for the performance minded individuals.

Hey y'all: Fairly new player here, but from what I understand, conquest pvp rank is tracked by account, not character, so the only way to know what's in the top 100 is to know the player and what they are maining. Now, for those of us that care what's performing well at the top level, we watch the monthly ATs and pay attention to streams. However, I've also seen claims on these forums of a core engi (widely to be considered irrelevant in pvp ATM) in the top 20 and mesmers in the top 100 (another profession that struggles beyond a certain point). You certainly wouldn't hear about that from any streamer I've watched. To that end, is there a good way too see what it really represented in the top 100 for NA and EU? If not, is it worth the effort to try to compile the information to see if there are strong builds outside of the current whateverbrand, condi thief, rev (various builds), core necro and ranger, Holo, and tempest meta?
