  1. Anyone else in Singapore facing separate issue?I had last played GW2 2 weeks ago and finally I am out of camp, my game wouldn't patch. It's downloading the patch at around 0kb/s ~15kb/s.Tried for 2 days and i got fret up. Decided to uninstall and reinstall the game.Alas, now the downloading speed for the game moves at 0bits / s ~ 2000bits/ s.[http://s3.amazonaws.com/gw2cdn/client/branches/Gw2Setup-64.exe] Since I had uninstalled the game, any Singaporean here able to do this for me? Hello, Thanks for getting back to me. I’ve reviewed your diagnostic report and discovered some packet loss (data being dropped between your computer and our servers). I’d like you to download and use a free program called “WinMTR” to get more detailed information about the problem. How to get WinMTR: Download WinMTR here. A .zip file will download automatically a few seconds after the page loads.Open the .zip file.Select “Extract all files” and make sure “Show extracted files when complete” is selected.Click “Extract.” A new window should open.Double-click the folder “winMTR-v092” in the new window.Locate and double-click “WinMTR.exe” to run the program.Once WinMTR is running: Log in to Guild Wars 2In the chat window type “/ip” without the quotes and press enter. This will return an IP address followed by a colon and a number (for example, “192.158.1.1:0”).Copy the IP address but omit the colon and everything after.Paste or type the IP address into the “Host” field in WinMTR.Click Start.Let WinMTR run while you play Guild Wars 2 for about 30 minutes. After about 30 minutes have passed, click the “Export HTML” button in WinMTR and save the file to your desktop.Attach the “.htm” file to a reply to this e-mail and be sure to let us know which IP you ran the test to (the one you got with the /ip command earlier.) Please make sure you’re attaching the actual file and not copying the file location from your browser.Once I have the file I will review the results and let you know what I find.Regards, ICoffeeGuild Wars 2 Support Teamhttp://help.guildwars2.com/
  2. i think what people want is the game master or whatever to acknowledge that there's a problem. Most people are confused and upset and didn't know what's really is the issue at hand.
  3. And it could be some spot in the middle that belongs to neither you nor ANet. If you calmly reach out to ANet's support, they should be able to help you figure things out. It's like traffic. You have a Starting Point and an Ending Point. If there's an accident blocking traffic on a highway, it's not the Ending Point's fault. In this case your computer is the Starting Point and the ANet servers are the Ending Point. You're complaining to ANet without checking to make sure there wasn't an accident blocking the highway in the middle. Not to mention anything that requires a constant internet connection is probably more strained as there is more traffic on the internet than normal since more people are working from home or currently off work until the pandemic calms down. More traffic means things get congested. Which can slow things down. And for a service that needs instant feedback, that slowdown can cause a drop in connection because a response wasn't received back quickly enough due to that congestion. This doesn't mean that ANet's in the clear, but without working with them to help figure it out, you're just going to be proverbially yelling to a wall. Might not be ANet fault. Though it doesn't make sense to say that the internet traffic is way higher than normal. Everyone is connected to the same said internet everyday. Unless suddenly you have millions of people from Rural areas and tribal areas getting INTERNET CONNECTION. That much of a new users would have create strain i imagine.
  4. It can't be his router/switch/ISP or whatever fault if he can access every other game, ISP website or whatever shit. Either way, it's not just him having the issue. Unless you are trying to say worldwide there's a global connection issue.
  5. What is happening? I was away for 2 weeks. Today I tried to play Guild Wars 2 and it is downloading files at few KB per sec or 0KB/S. Is something wrong with the server?
