Okay so after trying deleting the local.dat file it seemed to have worked but now it's doing it again, but have also since discovered it now happening outside of gw2 so definitely seems to be a keypad issue. Luckily I have an RMA with razer but can't get another orbweaver instead can only get it replaced with their tartarus v2 which is very similar but lacks features I need oh well. I rarely ever have issues with razer products :(

Okay so I tried to replicate the problem in WoW and could not, so it seemed to be isolated to GW2. I deleted the local.dat file and since then I haven't seen the issue come up (played for about 30 minutes didn't notice it happening) so looks like that may have fixed it! Will post another update tonight if it still works good!

When I try to re-create the problem in-game it's difficult, it seems to happen the most when I'm moving around a lot pressing the other buttons too. It's almost like some form of keyboard locking or something idk how else to describe it. Will try some of those fixes Ashantara suggested and see if that helps. I can RMA it through Razer but I can't get another orbweaver as replacement only the tartarus v2 which is very similar but I actually prefer the orb weaver for a few reasons. But I digress, I will try to recreate this problem in WoW see if it happens there too which could at least tell me its a system issue

Okay so a little weird to explain but basically I've noticed when in came that at times when I press my Q, W, or E buttons to move around they don't always register and require hitting additional times. I thought my razer orbweaver keypad was failing and started troubleshooting but when I press those buttons with a notepad open or for example while typing this I see no hiccup in input whatsoever. It seems to be isolated to gw2. Could this be some kind of input error happening? Has anyone else ever had this issue? Any help would be much appreciated!

So would tethering to my phone as a LTE hotspot work better? Or should I get an LTE internet set up as there are LTE options around me for ISPs just not much for cabled internet

Hey all, I'm reaching out in hopes maybe someone out there had this issue and was able to figure something out. I live in a rural area and it's a newer development so my internet options are mostly either LTE or Satellite. Verrrrry few if not any cabled options and there are no fiber optic options. From a google search and looking through reddit it seems people HAVE been able to play GW2 on a satellite or LTE connection without issues other than maybe slighter higher latency depending on ISP. I've been getting random disconnects and after talking to GW2 support they tell me that satellite and mobile connections aren't supported and that as long as I use that connection I will have connection issues.Call it denial but I refuse to believe NOTHING can be done other than switching to cabled internet. Is there anyone out there that plays on a satellite connection without issues? Thanks in advance for any help!

Having same issue.. tried VPN, clientport, drivers, nothing is working.. just random black screen no error. can pull up f12 menu but clicking logout or character select does nothing. just forced to close it via task manager or alt tabbing out to close it

Hey all! I used to play GW2 a lot back at launch then stopped for awhile, tried to get back into it in HoT but reallife got in the way so here I am back in PoF getting back into it. Looking for an active guild with a more casual laidback atmosphere. While I have a competitive side and experience in high tier raiding across multiple MMORPGs for now I am just trying to enjoy the game as much as possible with a strong focus on pve while I relearn everything. I am off work until June so will be fairly active until I go back to work, then my activity will go down to around a couple hours a day or so. At the moment I have a warrior, guardian and thief at 80 and working on a revenant at the moment. Will be lvling another character or two down the road. I love to help people out when I can, joke and have fun so hoping to find a fun laidback guild with a friendly atmosphere to make some new friends! Thanks all!
