  1. When doing an instant sell, have the 5% listing fee come out of the proceeds of the sale instead of coming out of your wallet. I'm low on gold and found a high value item that I want to sell on the trading post. But I can't do it because I can't afford the listing fee. For instant sell orders, there's no reason to not have the 5% come out of the proceeds instead and remove this barrier.
  2. The Reaper sustain I and some others use is with Diviner Gear, Blighter's Boon, Spite and Death Magic. There's a thread here talking about it: And one possible build here from Uncreative Green. I use something similar with a few minor tweaks. http://gw2skills.net/editor/?PSyEcEWoMBmCzj1wKxx25t1B-zRJYwRHfZEWKEYFo2lQMVgUPk/aCxZE-e In Uncreative Green's own words: It’s a reaper build with 25 might, perma fury, quickness, swiftness, protection, and insane stability uptime. It also reaches 100% crit chance with 18 vuln stacks (very easy to do) and crazy condi cleanse. It also has great toughness for a power build and insane power stats. Fully self buffed and it’s 3750 power. All while having decent healing through blighters boon.
  3. Blood bank should now stack with Unholy Sanctuary. I'm not sure that's worth it, but if you are fully healed in Shroud, that provides a 400+ barrier every second in PvE. It may also be interesting if Soul Eater changes to proc Blood Bank's barrier so you can at least get some of that barrier in Shroud. For Reaper sPvP, I was already using GS, so that's all win. I haven't been in love with Lich Form since the nerfs, so I'll likely try Chilled to the Bone, and maybe throw Augury of Death on top of that. Soul Reaping, Focus and Speed Runes can be swapped out with Spite, WH and Lynx Runes now. WH5 provides a speed boost when needed. Use WH4 with Dread and then swap to GS for quickened Gravediggers. Or have Quickness last for the next 4 or 5 seconds after exiting shroud using Terrify. (if Quickness wasn't stripped off while in Shroud) Or keep Lich Form to have quickened autos and maybe make Lich great again. Taking Banshee's Wail while already traiting Blood can keep a Speed boon up nearly 100% of the time. At the very least, it'll be fun to try out something new.
  4. I use a similar build to UncreativeGreen. The only significant difference I use is Sigil of Rage instead of Sigil of Celerity. As I understand it, Sigil of Celerity requires you to break the champion's break bar to trigger, but Sigil of Rage only needs a crit, which are easy to get. If I'm reading this wrong, though, let me know.
  5. That could be the gate I'm thinking of then. Which is good news for anyone wanting to travel through Elona- a quick tour with the roller beetle can open up access to all the maps pretty quickly.
  6. That's not entirely true. I know for at least Vabbi, you can't backtrack out to the Desolation if you haven't been there. If you get to Vabbi via Spearmarshal's Plea or Teleport to a Friend, the gate to Desolation is wreathed in flames and you can't pass. So you might be forced to go through them in the correct order the first time, even if the story isn't part of the deal.
  7. I haven't specifically shared the mount quests between characters, but these are collection achievements and collections are shared between all characters. So yes. I've done similar shared achievements for completing legendary weapons and trinkets. You will need a method to get your spare characters to the zones. Portal scrolls, teleport to friend, Spearmarshall's Plea, etc. will get you where you mostly need to go. PoF maps are a pain because there are no portal scrolls, so outside of Vabbi, you may need to Teleport to Friend if you don't want to do the story. Once you open a waypoint for that character, you can travel back there anytime you like.
  8. If you ever want a Gen 2 legendary, then you should save all that wood and mithril for that. And here's the thing- you don't even have close to enough to build it. You need a ridiculous amount of those materials- I liken it to strip mining the Amazon. Start getting your mystic curios now. Or build them for others and sell them on the TP. I convert my elder wood logs to planks and mithril ore to ingots for additional storage space. After that, crafting Deldrimor Steel Ingots, Xunlai Ingots or other time gated crafting items is a sure fire way to use up those materials and get a profit.
  9. They are much different. Though it’s not exclusively the case, Reapers are power specs and Scourges are condition. Reaper focuses on chill, chasing down their enemies and bursting for lots of damage. Scourge is about putting up lots of barrier, stacking up torment, and then melting their enemies. You can find variations of these classes, but these are the “typical” way they are played. Scourge is very powerful right now because it provides sustain and damage all in one shot. Both are quite good though.
  10. Asura have much shorter legs- they don’t want to run a marathon just to check up on their garden.
  11. This is not true. You only need to be rank 20, which gets you into ranked matches, where you can start getting ascended shards. Rank 100 is only required if you want the shiny mistforged glorious armor. The “normal” legendary armor is much easier to get.
  12. I assume you mean legendary armour. In my case, I went PvP. You get the materials you need simply for playing the normal ranked games, which I do just for fun. After three seasons, you can get everything you need with enough gameplay. I haven’t tried any other method, though.
  13. Those are some good points, though I guess it depends what the game mode is. Blind, chill and weakness don’t provide much defence against anything with a break bar. A little bit of soft cc but that’s it. Rise! and Infusing Terror are great as you said, but you’re giving up a third trait line to get access to those. Everything else you mentioned is available to all necros. Reaper’s shroud drains much faster, too. Still, you bring up enough good points that I can say Reaper is not necessarily “not tanky”.
  14. I don’t think Reaper plays as an MM as well as the other specs. MM gives up a lot of mobility- you are considered in combat as long as your minions are in combat and your minions are ALWAYS in combat. Reaper is about the only spec that has decent mobility so I don’t like giving that up for minions. Minions are great for tankiness and AFK farming. That is also what core and Scourge are best at so they work well together. Reaper is better at bursting and cleaving, and the minions detract from that.
  15. Besides eternal ice, you can get the currency directly by doing hearts in the LS4 maps- some are easier than others. Krakatite ore is 25 per heart, which stacks up fast. (it’s probably one currency you already have). You get 5 per day of each in dragonfall. And you can trade in prophet shards in Eye of the North for LS4 currencies. This isn’t to say not to do eternal ice shards, as I’m sure you know about getting hearts for currency. It’s just that you can reduce the time gate with a variety of tasks and get done faster. Another thing is that while you may not want to grind another character to level 80, I used tomes of knowledge to boost up some empty character slots just to park them out at the maps I wanted to repeat hearts. Now I have them parked at jumping puzzles for a little extra loot each day.
