  1. Although Acrobatics has some condi cleanse in it, I wouldn't recommend, due to the traitline not offering too much besides that. Some other options would be using vitality gear or Sigil of Cleaning on your weapons, so you cleanse a condi when you swap weapons.
  2. You can try playing around w/ the trait https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Shadow's_Embrace, which cleanses conditions while in stealth. Use Pistol 5 + Blinding Powder, or use heal skill + Shadow Arts trait to get stealth when you need it. There is also a GM trait in Shadow Arts for getting health while in stealth. If you haven't used rifle yet, you can also get stealth w/ pistol 5 + shortbow 2 into field. This also helps with getting pistol stealth attacks in while you have lots of might.
  3. The new mechanic is Blight, which decreases maximum health by 1.5% per stack I believe. However, you won't see the difference as enemy health only shows percentage based dmg, so if they are at 33k/33k health and stay in shroud for a while, they might be at 25k/25k health but continue to appear as 100% health, because the Maximum health is reduced, not pure health. Doing dmg to a harbinger you will see the difference, they are more squishy in shroud with lots of stacks of Blight, than outside of it. Edit: added "per stack" to response.
  4. Well, what content are you looking to play? If you want to play a power build in endgame PvE then yes, all should be Berserker (Power, Precision, Ferocity). Having Toughness in Raids causes the boss to tank on you instead of the determined tank. If you want to play Open World and use those Toughness + Vitality stats for soloing/fighting champions and legendaries, then that works as well. I am assuming you are playing a Reaper Necro as it is best at playing power than other Necro specs.
  5. Btw, when trying out new classes, don't need to level them fully, just go to pvp lobby, and you can try all elite specializations, skills, different gear attributes, build, weapons for virtually zero cost, and then you can decide whether you want to continue with the class or not.
  6. You will on average get more back from the drops than the cost of the salvage kits. https://www.farming-community.eu/open-world/salvageables for more info (type in ascended). The profit ofc will be higher if you attune the rings first. Edit: So unless you are instaselling the stabilizing matrices you get, listing them at sell price will give you a profit.
  7. For Open World, pretty much all classes can solo Legendary Champions if given the right gear + build traits. Check Lord Hizen's youtube channel (https://www.youtube.com/c/LordHizen/videos), he extensively buildcrafts for every spec specifically for soloing Open World Bosses. As for the specs that are the "easiest" or simplest to solo bosses, Scourge, Renegade, and Bladesworn come to mind. I would highly recommend checking out a couple of Hizen's solos to see how they perform against bosses such as the HoT Legendary Axemaster, which usually requires 25+ players to kill.
  8. If your internet is that unreliable you might want to avoid playing ranked pvp... your connection affects not only your own play but your teams and the enemy as well. You get some dishonor, and can play other gamemode, but your whole team waste 15 minutes because of your connection...
  9. The MegaMount™ transform from dragon to bunny to turtle omg !!
  10. for wvw thats not the issue - the issue is it doesn't really matter which server is winning and the constant rotation of linking just makes it worse. spvp bot developer (main one) left GW2 for FFXIV. you can check tpots vid on this, pvp now has pretty much no bots, but also low population atm.
  11. I suspect it is because EoD maps have a lower player limit per map instance, so you see less players in each map - but there are plenty of players playing on it, just on different instances. That's why the maps become full so quickly in the LFG while it seems only maybe 50-60 players are on it at once. 50 players across such a big map looks like it is mostly empty, but in fact not.
  12. The main way to push people to endgame PvE content is to first get them to try such content. You are thinking of moving people from Dungeons to Strikes/Fractals to Raids, and such. But the main population of the game is stuck in Open World. Some don't know that Strikes are a thing. You have to get them into the system before you can upgrade them and get them to harder content like CMs. There is such a large percentage of people playing GW2 that only play Open World. Oftentimes, because of the split communities that GW2 has, we don't see those people as a majority. And its fine if all they want to do is explore Tyria, but the main issue is that some don't even know this content exists.
  13. You do use some pretty harsh words, but the point that they make, while disagreeable to some, is mainly that there is a just reason to attempt to not just push the fractal rewards to the new EoD Strike Missions, but also the population. What is the justification? Well, based on their words, it seems that A) They are appealing to the "majority" of Strike Mission players, as opposed to FractalCM players, and B) that Strike Missions are newer content and they intend to push players in that direction. How to get players to play that content, if some are still hung over on older content? Easy, drag the carrot over to the newer one. Where did I get these points from? Well, from their stance it is clear: "Strike Missions are much more accessible than fractal Challenge Modes and are played by significantly more people—and we hope to grow participation numbers in Guild Wars 2: End of Dragons." Two parts to that message. 1) Player population. You have to know that they are not looking at this from some individual player perspective, they are looking at it from a macro perspective. Strike Missions are more popular. And so they created new Strike Missions for EoD. Simple, right? 2) Hoping to grow participation. Obviously, if no one plays the expac content, the expac has essentially failed. Thus, they want more people to play the Strikes in the expac, not just the existing majority. Ok, we got the reasoning for why. Now onto the next reason: The what, or players. Quote: "Players who don't have access to some of the more difficult sources of legendary crafting resources like fractal CMs and the fractal Mystic Clover trade will be able to earn incremental legendary progress from easier sources, particularly Guild Wars 2: End of Dragons Strike Missions." Pretty simple. Their point is that Strike Missions are "easier" than Fractal CMS. Thus, it makes sense and would be generous to make the rewards more accessible to the majority. MAIN POINT Overall, the point they seem to be making is this: Fractal CM players do not need help with clearing content. They can just as easily move to Strike Missions - if they care about the rewards (Note that some play just for fun and not for rewards). However, the reverse is not the same. There are those that might not be able to reach the Fractal CMs, but want to dip their toes in endgame content and get better through Strike Missions (which is what EoD is presenting, after all.) Thus it makes sense to simply move the rewards to Strike Missions, which accomplishes all the goals I set above (Increased population for expac, accessibility to more casual players), and appeals to the majority (remember Fractal CM players are a minority in the macro perspective). The more skilled FractalCM players are perfectly free to come over to Strikes and get the rewards if they care to do so. They won't have issue clearing the content. The only real change is that the rewards are moving to a more casual content. For Strike players - this is great. For FractalCM players - if you want the rewards - go to Strikes, otherwise you do whatever you've already been doing.
  14. I'm guessing nobody else has this issue, so its on my end, but I'm not sure how to fix this issue. Hopefully someone can offer some insight into why this is happening
