Never tried the build and couldn't really find an up to date one. How is s/d for pvp in terms of viability? can it compete as well as d/p right now?

LOSS: WIN: Hi everyoneI started playing this game on August 2020 and I've been playing DD Thief exclusively, mostly PvP. I've been getting increasingly frustrated the last few days specially today, after going on a 8-game losing streak on ranked conquest right when I was on the cusp of hitting platinum. My mechanics are not top-notch, obviously, although I feel like the biggest struggle right now is not always knowing what to do in certain situations. I'm a poor evaluator of my own gameplay so I have posted 3 games from today-- 2 losses and 1 win. I don't expect everyone to watch the whole thing, but if you guys could maybe watch some here and there, and point out flaws and areas of my gameplay that needs improvement, any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

How is this build played exactly? When are on on staff as opposed to D/P?

Please don't throw the pitchforks at me because I'm new and I'm legitimately curious and concerned about my build. Staff DD is the only appealing build to me. Not really a fan of daggers or pistols. I understand that D/P seems to be the meta for thief pvp but is there a place for Staff DD in pvp at all, particularly conquest?I'm still learning about roles in pvp and I know that my primary purpose of to decap and +1, however, i feel like the build overall is...well...lackluster?I find myself just running around capping points. My damage seem to be lackluster, gets rekt in just about any 1v1 situation, even in team fights my damage feels non-impactful. Any tips? Is this just a major L2play issue?

I just started yesterday and staff daredevil enticed me right away. I’ve been trying to look for a guild that I can follow as I level and also for end game that can do both pve/pvp, however, the guides/videos I’ve seen are all 1-2 years old. Are there any up to date guides that I can follow for this? I’m very confused mostly regarding on where to invest my skill points on
