  1. This thread is unfortunately the result of what build templates, alliances and other empty or poorly communicated promises have done to the trust by players , rewind to LS1/2 era and most people wouldn't even have thought these features might be gem/gold sinks.
  2. The difficulties this fractal has are: Too much movement required, with no movement ability, if we had a movement SAK it would be ok.CC bars are huge (but doable, if you commit hard to it)Hitboxes for laser show in the dark phase CM are unreliable (with frailty these 1 shot most meta builds, which is fine if they are well telegraphed)Boss mechanics change seemingly at random, phases merge and become unpredictable depending on group dps.
  3. Relinking designed to promote guild migrations, they know their game sadly.
  4. Please could you try again? This is obviously incorrect.
  5. To find a training, you can either use the ingame LFG and find a suitable group, or join a training discord, a list of these are available here - https://snowcrows.com/raids/training/ If you just want skins rather than to learn the content, then your best option is to continue paying sellers to carry you to your goal (looking at your post history, you have a long history of buying achievements).
  6. The builds that SC/LN/other sites (metabattle just copy from these, or are heavily outdated) post are well rounded, but adjustable tools (explained in the class guides sections)Knowing how and when to use them is explained in the raid guides section.A lot of new to raiding players join training communities, which is great because they show people how to use these tools. The training communities that are out there try to help people, as long as those people are willing to learn and invest some time/gold on getting the suitable tools (knowledge and gear) to get started. Getting started with raiding is daunting, and these communities try their best to help bridge the gap between open world and raids, but there always needs to be a personal drive to start. I totally disagree that the SC/LN/other "meta" build sites should be made more beginner friendly, because for the most part - they are when used correctly.
  7. As others have said - what constitute offmeta is quite a wide spread, and you can clear everything without a single build that is exactly as SC/LN/etc prescribe in the squad. Bringing suitable boons is important for DPS, try hitting the golem with your DPS rotation with and without boons, they make up for around 2/3rds of your potential damage (assuming your class does not generate many). However, if you are pugging raids with very offmeta builds, please ensure that you can fulfill the role you sign up for - sign up as DPS, be on par with the other DPS or at least above the BS. sign up as a quickness provider, provide enough quickness while dealing reasonable damage, etc. Some of the reasons why the meta builds exist are squad synergy, and unique buffs - for example tempest or renegade can out heal a druid at every encounter, however you don't have access to spirits, or the very fast 10 player might stacking that druid brings.
  8. You join a team of 9 other people to complete a group project at school/in the workplace/whatever, instead of doing their work, one of the team members only attends and produces no work. Someone shows metrics of the group performance and identifies the shortfall, is this toxic? Or is the team member that is not performing the toxic one? The least toxic commanders will kick a player that is not filling the role they signed up, so that the other 8 players do not have to experience the toxic player; a toxic commander will allow a leeching player to continue through all of the content with no comment. If you join strikes/raids/fractals with a specific role, do your best to perform as others would expect, and yes, I am looking at you greatsword only DH with high group healing power and toughness.
