Tyrs is the place to be for all your geriatric and pre-geriatric Guild Wars 2 needs. *Events include: - Monday: Remembering what we did this past weekend - Wednesday: Rousing games, starting at 8pm eastern, of "Which Cream is This?". Guild members take turns tasting unlabeled tubes containing toothpaste, hemorrhoid cream, denture cream, and sweet cream. When someone loses, you'll know! - Friday: Guild missions! - Saturday: I can't remember what we do on Saturdays - Sunday: See Saturday - Monday: I think I did this one already. - Tuesday: You've got to be tired of this by now. *May include non-existing guild events Honestly, I've been away from the game for a looong time, and although I'm absolutely lost half the time, I'm having a blast with these folks. I've only been back to the game and in Tyrs for a week or two, but being involved with this group of folks checks the biggest MMO box for me: the MMO is only as fun as the people you play it with. So get some new tennis balls for your walkers, shake the mothballs out of your Members Only jackets, put on your OG Pong hats, and get with Tyrs!

I've given this some thought; I only hope you're still looking for folks. Shattered Darkness would basically mean light, right? Light is pretty cool, since it's pretty much how we see. I like light. You like light, probably, unless you wake up ridiculously hungover on a park bench at noon. I didn't like light then, either. Anyway, I'm back to the game after being away for years. I've tried out some other guilds, didn't really fit (although the folks over at Unity were good people); I'm in my middle 40s, usually have stuff going on around the home that prevents me from really sitting down and playing for long periods, so during the week, I'm off and on, not normally on comms. Fridays, Saturdays, I can be around as long as I'm not in a food coma and taking a nap. Old dudes like naps about as much as they like light (aside from the scenario above). I notice nobody from Shattered Darkness has replied in a little while, so hopefully you're still looking for people and would take pity on me by inviting me in to test the waters. Pfloyd.8635, currently on HoD I believe, but if we hit it off, I've got no problem switching servers for the WvW. I'm interested in a little bit of everything the game has to offer; looking to pop into some casual PvP/WvW, hit up all the PvE stuff aside from raids. Mainly just want some folks I can identify with to shoot the breeze with in chat and whatnot. Now if you'll excuse me, it's time to pick up some food, inhale it, and probably lay down for a nap. Did I mention that I kinda dig naps?

Hey! I’m a 45 year old dad who still laughs when someone farts. I do lots of things, none of them very well. Among those things is playing games. I just came back to GW2 last night, and I’m looking for a place to call home; your post and the interest generated caught my attention. I have one lvl 80 tempest (I think), and started a new necromancer last night. Not on comms much during the week, but Friday nights and Saturdays, I’m usually able to get things going. I’m interested in trying out all aspects of the game, but am currently on a different world for WvW; if we click, I’m all for transferring. tl;dr If you’re cool with it, lemme in, man! Thanks.
