  1. I can confirm still bugged, been on Nereidum 5 times, no luck.
  2. I'm still gathering my thoughts on the expansion, but the one piece of feedback I absolutely agree with though is the use of tooltips ad nauseam. Like I get it the first time for a new mechanic but it becomes pretty annoying after a bit. It's especially bad in the Nexulus fight. I like fights that adds a mechanic that you have to pay attention to, but the popup and dialog felt like half of the difficulty of the fight, that doesn't feel right!! I guess the other underwhelming thing for me is feeling that masteries are more and more used as an excuse to grind for xp and no longer bring new gameplay elements. That, and I really wish you could use your remaining mastery points for each regions after you're done (how about 1% MF per remaining mastery point of something?), that would incite people to really go for all mastery points.
  3. I'm pretty ok with how they're implementing legendary relics. To be honest, I was expecting them to do that for new set of stats as well in the future. It's always baffled me that you could access all the new stats without the need to engage with new content. So this is a good balance, one that incentivizes to play again for players who have full legendary sets.
  4. I'm aware of that unfortunately. I'm not keeping my hopes up that the GW1 soundtracks ever get distributed again (directsong is dead by the way, so to this day you cannot legally obtain it at all...). Also aware his behavior was really wrong. And quite ironic because there are people like me willing to obtain his music legally, but he ensured that the only way to ever obtain them is through piracy (and in decade old lossy format...). But it sucks, because GW1's music is really, really good, and some of his other work (such as Skyrim, but also the Harry Potter game soundtracks for a time) was available digitally... However for LS1 I thought that they had already switched to in-house, the aforementioned battle of the breachmaker for example should be part of it along with some others.
  5. Hello! I was glad to notice that End of Dragons was recently made available on a broader list of services to buy (including lossless, finally!) along with the release of the SotO soundtrack. Living Season 1 was "rereleased" recently as well, would it be possible to get a packaged soundtrack for this one too? All the other living seasons have one and season 1 had some of the most popular tracks (Battle of the Breachmaker on top...) Other popular picks would be Super Adventure Box / Holiday Bundle theme and some missing raid bosses ~basically everything before HoT~ I know some of that is available exclusively on Soundcloud, but quite frankly the playlists aren't complete/up to date and making up a season 1 playlist isn't that straightforward. Finally, that may be controversial, but since SotO is bringing back some legacy music... can we ever hope to see the GW1 albums surface online again? There are several gems (EotN Overture or Iron Footfalls...) that were never released in lossless/aren't available anywhere. Thanks ❤️
  6. I've been a player since Prophecies in GW1 (5 years, you don't have bragging rights to be called "old player" :P) and I don't mind newer player having an easier time catching up. In fact, we -need- them to catch up to keep the game alive and well However I do agree with some of the points in the wish list.
  7. In GW1 although it wasn't races, they simply added a mini tutorial story to the 4 expansion classes. If they were to add Tengu, I think they could play it similarly.
  8. Right, even just 5-6 options with a cap of 3 would already give some breathing room, with maybe 1 or 2 that are shared across players so people who want to play together can. And yeah, having to click on the UI is definitely a weird decision as well. LIke I said somewhere else It wouldn't take much for this system to be perfect. I hope they can at least address that.
  9. I think blaming it on the UI is a bit disingenuous, but one can simply... dislike having to deal with changes that locks you down a path when for most of the game lifespan one was able to pick the dailies they wanted to do. Like, this really is the one think I don't understand with the new system, and I don't see a single reason as to why would anyone prefer it over the old, more flexible system. By removing the log in rewards they're already dealing with what was the problem then (free rewards without engaging with content). Isn't that good enough? Why lock the player with a certain type of content if it turns out they'd rather do something else later that day? What is the benefit for Anet? for the player? What they did basically ensure that I will never, ever turn on PvP, for fear of being locked with 3 pvp dailies to do that I can't swap back.
  10. I think OP is forgetting something. Feedback, positive or negative, shows that people care. The day you get 0 feedback for a release is when you should start to worry. That said, yes, there's a lot of hyperboles, yes, there's a lot of negativism, because people have their habits and Anet has pushed some heavy changes on a system that was there since pretty much forever it comes with some questionable decisions. Sure it sucks, but I can't help but think that a lot of this could have been avoided this time around by having better communication around the Wizard's Vault. I'm not actually sure why they released it with the first wave, unless they genuinely didn't think there was going to be some pushback? But if they didn't know that's kind of concerning too. I mean, there's some glaring issues with that system. GW2 is a MMO that built a reputation for being welcoming to the more "casual" crowd (I don't necessarily agree with it but...) and decisions like giving out random dailies different for everyone was always going to be controversial, same with removing choice for what dailies to do. There's a lot of good with that system, but they really went out of their way to lock things down (you pick your type of dailies and then you're locked in for the day, why??). There's some positive too. It gets rids of people who don't actually play and are just there for logging. It makes it so you can engage with the content more and pick your rewards, but that's not the first thing that a lot of people see. They see that they will have to change their habits and for the worst (for now). I don't think it would take much more than a communication acknowledging some of the missteps to shut down the negativism. Give it a few days, maybe then you'll start reading more about the positive feedback (like the story being probably one of their best so far, and as far as I'm concerned, the first map is one of my new favorites).
  11. It's not less unless all you used to do was log in and nothing else. Then yes. And I'd argue that it's a good thing. Otherwise if you do all dailies / weekly / special it can give you more. In another thread someone calculated that you need 2950 for the 2% gold, laurels, coins and clovers (which you would get in 28 days) 65 AA per daily > 455 / week > 1820/28 days 770 AA per weekly > 3080/28 days (or 2760/28 days if it locks you at 6/week) That's 4580 right there assuming 6 weekly. And that's not counting the specials. For potions, I've read in many places that they were changed to be instant track reward instead, so it's still happening. The problem is not the rewards. It's the bad communication that makes people freak out. And it's the removal of choice for dailies.
  12. That a company makes video games for profit is not the problem. They "use" us, and in return we get entertainment. But it doesn't have to be a win-lose situation. It wouldn't take much for this new system to be a win-win, they just need to bring back choice.
  13. Maybe I'm missing something? Each Tier 1 Legendary weapon now has a collection that seems to contain all the needed materials. Without really trying earlier I noticed it was possible to right click "Add to Collection" on a stack of Ectoplasms... which updated a whole series of these legendary collections. The Ectoplasms become account bound.... except I could still put them in the Bank, and then remove them again and poof, they wouldn't be account bound anymore. Same for the Piles of Crystalline dust (affects Eternity) Gift of Battle and other Gifts laying around in bank though? They don't work in completing these collections. Has anyone experienced something similar or understand what it's meant to do? Thanks
  14. "If it ain't broke don't fix it" Giving players a choice is GOOD. I have no idea who decided that forcing people to choose between PVE/WVW/PVP without seeing the daily objectives ahead of time then preventing them to change was a good idea, but you've made it worse than it was. Why would you do that? Why don't you let players play the content they wish to play? Or at least give them some choice?
  15. Now an even much better version of the system would be no system at all and remove timegates from the game 😄 Because seriously. Not everyone can play every day. If I play 10 hours in 7 days or 10 hours in 1 day it shouldn't make a difference for rewards. Hopefully BG3 shakes the industry a little bit and away from theses silly schemes.
