  1. Hi, grats on hitting lvl 80 first of all! If you're interested in playing a support build as a rev, in short, the gear prefix you wanna go with is either Diviner's or Harrier's, both require Path of Fire ,and Living Season Ep. 5 for diviner. The difference? Simply put Diviner's = damage + boon duration, but no healing powerHarrier's = healing + boon duration, but very low damageCurrently, Revenant with Diviner's and Renegade elite spec is more commonly found. Renegade itself is more popular because it can provide a bountiful amount of a quite rare boon, alacrity, that reduces skills cooldown. However, both diviner and harrier are not common drops like berserker's or others, so I recommend to get the Ascended pieces right aways instead of going for the exotic. In the meantime, exotic berserker's should do. Asc. acquisition for these gears varies. First you can get them from crafting obviously. Remember that you can switch ascended prefix pretty easily, as long as you have the EXOTIC GRADE sigil/insignia of the prefix you want to switch it to. Besides crafting, below are some of the methods to acquire ascended pieces: Fractal (Armors, Weapons, Trinkets) You can get ascended armors and weapons from BLING-9009 inside fractal lobby. The gears sold here are stat selectable, so as long as you have Path of Fire/LS Ep. 5 you will be able to pick either one of this stat. To get them, you need to do fractal dailies and recommended to get the currencies needed. On top of that, you will also still need ascended crafting level to make the grandmaster's mark associated with the gear (e.g. medium armor req. leatherworking grandmaster mark, bow req. huntsman grandmaster mark). For trinkets, BUY-2046_PFR sells Mist Pendant, Talisman, and Band, all of which are stat selectable. Unlike other ascended trinkets, you can equip 2 of these trinkets at the same time (e.g. 2 Mist Band). FYI, normally you can't equip a pair asc. trinket of the same name. Strike Mission (Armors, Weapons) There is a new way of acquiring asc. weapons & armors, which is through strike mission. All you need to do is go to Eye of the North, if you're on lvl 80, you will have the waypoint unlocked, just copy this in game chat and enter --> [&BAkMAAA=]. Once there, just check on hero panel of today's daily strike mission. Then go to LFG, extend strike mission tab, and group up with other player. Just let people know that you're new so that if specific mechanics are needed, you'll get informed prior. They are not difficult so it's easy to start them off. The currency you're looking for is Prophet Shard, more specifically the blue shard for armors and green shard for weapons sold by <a /href="https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Crystallographer_Smoxxi#vendor68">Crystallographer Smoxxi. These shards rotate weekly as a reward for finishing a Strike Mission, but they can convert a color to another on 2:1 ratio. You want to get the Healer's Armor chest to get selectable pieces for either Diviner or Harrier. Also, note that the weapons sold by her only have core stats, meaning that they don't have Diviner or Harrier. So you will have to switch the prefix. Open World (Trinkets) Mainly from Living Season maps. Check this list of selectable ascended trinkets. You should check it up yourself since each map has different piece of trinkets, but I personally would recommend Bitterfrost Frontier map to get your ascended backpiece since it's the easiest currency to farm. Obviously there are other ways to get ascended gear (pvp, wvw, raids), but those 3 are the things I would say you should start doing by now just to insert it in your daily play rotation. Just to share a fair bit of my FoTM (fractal of the mists) experience, T3 would be the most difficult with lots of frustated people since the difficulty jumps heaps from T2. And another reality is that a lot of groups, at least in T4, specify for Firebrand as the healer, while Revenant for alacrity support. However, if you go with Harrier, you can always make your own LFG and look for "quickbrand" instead of "healbrand" to complement with your boons. Goodluck!
  2. Going down the line, I've personally found Thief to have some of the best self-sustain in solo PvE, especially if you're going full Berserker's/Assassin's stat thanks to one of their trait, Invigorating Precision. This trait is even stronger in soloing champions/legendaries if you're speccing to Deadeye, take Maleficent Seven, and equip a rifle. The extra damage from might, crit rate and heal bonus from fury, protection, health & endurance regen helps in sustaining yourself and landing a hard-hitting crit snipe that will basically top-up your health as well. The downside of it is definitely cleaves, or lack thereof, since skill 2 rifle is the only 'cleave' skill (the targets need to line up) and that kneeling will immobilize you. Good thing is that Daredevil is the spec for if you're looking for cleaves, and you still can trait Invigorating Precision if you want to since it's a core Thief trait. You can actually get mount even if you don't have a lvl 80 as long as you have PoF. But you need a level 80 player to invite you into the 'Sparking the Flame' mission, and help your get through to some point of the mission. I could help if you play on NA but I can't play rn, unfortunately! You can try to Lion's Arch or Divinity's Reach and see if anyone is willing to help though.
  3. I think some mobs only use abilities, and some a combination of auto & abilities. But I feel like many mobs that use auto-attack can have their AA pretty much ignored. Mind you though, many of their abilities don't have ground telegraph, but they have pretty distinct animation and patterns. Here are a few notable enemies and some notes about fighting them: Mordrem Snipers: They stealth, do the charging shot that you said, and triple volley shots. I think the order is pretty much random, but always rotating their abilities. When you're closing in, they will kick you, knock you back and it's hurt too. Also, first time you CC them, they will break stun instead. But they are super squishy, so I always prioritize them first. Go in with stability or stunbreak. For stunbreak you have Outrage already, for stability, you can pick Brave Stride instead from Strength traitline. You might want to try takingEternal Champion from your Berserker grandmaster trait. This might help you because when you enter Berserker mode you actually got a penalty on your toughness, plus the extra stability might help as well if you can break from stuns (specially since Berserker got plenty of stun breaker utilities.)Mordrem Tormentor: They will spam their slow-moving homing projectiles. These projectiles are pretty noticable and can be easily dodged or even reflected, but if it lands it can stack up torment that will deal more damage if you're moving. Generally, tormentors are high priority to me since they are pretty much defenselessMordrem Punisher: Their notable attack is the large cone telegraph. During this time their breakbar will become active and you will have a few seconds to CC it before it hits. As a Berserker you probably will have no problem in CC-ing since the breakbar is really low anyway.Jungle Tendril: They have 2 attacks, aoe swipe that will knock you back and straight up slap you, both happen if you're in melee. They do these moves one after another. One way to counter them is by stunning/dazing them just when they are about to swipe you. Many of them are veteran mobs, so bursting them after you stun/daze can help you being constantly cc-ed and getting more damage. There are definitely more as you progress, notably the hylek, mushrooms, the saurians, and the chak. But I'll let you find out more yourself , but wiki and people in-game can be a good source of info when you're at lost. All in all, your build is pretty glass canon (only natural since it's built around group content) and you might want to play around it to suit your needs. There are lots of mobs out there in HoT that have some gimmick attacks that defensive skills/traits are very valuable (which often not the case in the base game) since the enemies are more powerful in HoT. I think you probably will find easier time soloing stuff with spellbreaker instead due to them having a panic button (aka Full Counter). The gears are pretty similar to what yours, just different elite specialization. If you're interested in the build, Wooden Potatoes got it covered . The cons about the spellbreaker is that it is less bursty and need good timing. But they excel when the enemies are actually strong and you're put with a tough pressure.
  4. I'd say pick one that thematically captures your fantasy. As Gulbasaur said, when you use the booster on a character, you will be sent to Silverwastes map with skills & traits unlocked with some weapon and enemies to try to take up on. Though the thing is you will get Soldier's (power, toughness, vitality) gears so I'm not sure what kind of build you're aiming but usually ele in the open world are using Berserker's (power, precision, vitality) or Marauder (similar to Berserker's but with vitality). Alternatively, you can go to PvP arena that you can enter at any lvl from the PvP menu on the top left of your screen. There all of your specializations (including elite specializations are already unlocked, along with your skills. Note that you can only use your elite spec in the third row of your specialization template. You can also buy low-level weapons to try it with your elite specializations, that being sword for weaver and warhorn for the tempest. On top of that, you can try different attributes and runes through the PvP build template with most of the amulets available for you. So you can try to mix up a build and try it to compare the damage and survivability between Soldier's and Berserker's etc, or even try condi build. There are plenty of meat sack starting from training golems as well as profession NPCs that hit pretty hard. All in all, as an ele main myself, the class can be hard to play and master. But eventually, when you get used to it the journey can be worthwhile! One of the easier build usually revolves around Fresh Air trait under Air specialization. It works with core ele, tempest, and weaver, though it's more powerful on tempest (because they can spam air overload) and weaver (can trigger the effect twice consecutively, though with harder rotation). Whatever you choose, good luck!
  5. Hi there and welcome. I just wanna add a little more about this. So as you already notice there, the utility skills (skill 7-9) are locked at your current level yet they are really important for Engineer. But once you start unlocking your utilities, skills like grenade kit and bomb kit can be valuable additions to your arsenal since each gives you 5 additional skills and they can be played pretty spammy while deals really good damage. Bomb kit is the easiest to use, but you need to be semi-melee to use it. Grenade kit is ranged, but they are aoe projectiles that have a rather slow velocity. So the cons are that it can be hard to hit a moving target and you have to constantly target the ground and track your target that can be pretty tedious. However, these problems can be fixed by going to the Options (from Esc), then scroll down until you see the 'Combat/Movement' section. Under this section, first you want to change the 'Ground Targeting' from 'Normal' to 'Fast with Range Indicator.' So when you cast a ground-targeted skill, the skill will activate immediately after you release the skill button instead of left-clicking your mouse. Second, under the same section, you want to check 'Snap Ground Target to Current Target.' This option will allow you to automatically target and track your target when using ground-targeted skills, whether your target is and enemy or an ally. Having both of these settings make grenadier play a lot more viable. If you're interested in playing around kits, or just being a grenadier, at lvl 21, you also want to choose Explosives as your first specializations. There are 'traits,' or passive effect, that will enhance your kits. As example, Grenadier will increase the grenades' radius and increase its velocity after being thrown, making it a far more reliable ranged kits for you. Tip: save up your Hero Points before reaching lvl 21 if you want to unlock most part of the specializations, to fully unlock a specialization itself you need 60 Hero Points. But you don't really need to unlock all when you just hit lvl 21. Side note, at lvl 80 you will eventually have enough HPs to unlock all. For lvl 80 open world, if you enjoy grenade kit, for the full build. There is also a . Note that he uses an elite specialization that you can unlock at lvl 80 later in the game, with Scrapper and Holosmith being Engineer's elite specs. But overall, core engineers can be really hard to play efficiently due to the nature of its reliance to kits (except Holosmith). Playing this profession was actually the reason why I bought that 12-thumb-button mmo mouse bacj then lol.Good luck!
  6. Just to add a bit more details, other than trying to finish up the maps, in HoT you might want to try to do the outposts. Outposts is an area in the map where there is thing longer-than-usual event chains that often is meant to be done by a few people. You can find the outpost NPCs from your map indicated by the icon from the link I shared. If you talk to these NPCs, they will show you the state of the outposts, whether they're active or not, and will show you where the event is happening if it's active. So in HoT, the maps generally have 2 states, pre-meta and meta. Outposts only active during pre-meta state. Check this wiki page for the schedule, just scroll down until you see "Heart of Thorns". The first 3 maps are the ones you want to keep an eye for the outposts (Dragon's Stands have no outpost). To give you some clues from the timer page, Verdant Brink pre-meta happens during the day, Auric Basin is Pylon, and Tangled Depths is "Help the Outposts." After the pre-meta, and 10-15 minutes before the meta started, go to LFG and open the respective map section. You should see some groups organizing these meta events. They give pretty decent reward and exp and afaik mastery points the first time you successfully do them as well. Oh, also there are achievements that rewards you with Mastery Points if you do all the events within all outposts' event chains in one map. Check your achievement tab that you can find on your Hero Panel (H). As for Mastery Points that you need to train your masteries. The most obvious ones are Mastery Insight scattered around the map (there are these white icons on the map) that you can commune just like some Hero Points. There are a number of ways to do it and it involves achievements, starting from story to adventures. Again, your achievement tab should be a content guide for you, check out this page for more info about mastery points and a list of HoT mastery points (ctrl+f Verdant Brink since this is the relevant map to you right now). IMO adventures and strongboxes are some of the easiest sources of points so keep an eye out for them. Alternatively, sometimes if you check Verdant Brink (or any HoT maps) LFG, some people are running "HPs Train." Basically a bunch of people grouping up to unlock Hero Points, which can help if you're unlocking you're unlocking elite specializations, while picking up mastery points along the way. Can't really help you in-game rn, but you can always add me and whisper/message me if you see me online though (I'm playing in NA server). Hope it helps and good luck!
  7. Hi there, I think it's just how you frame your selling points, because to me, reading these, it feels like you're warning me not to give it a try. It's true that there are flaws surrounding the game, but you should try to give a more neutral tone in giving information if you try to be balanced, but end with positive notes and give something that they might be looking forward to in the future. Not sure if you've had your friends tried playing, but basically you want to make people curious about what the game is to offer and try not to deter them with smaller details. Though you have your opinions formed about the game already, make sure it's not affecting your friends' opinion aka let them dip their toes first and form their own. If I am allowed to make some suggestions, here's how I'd frame some of the game selling points: There is no subscription fee, you just need to buy the game once, or until the next expansion. There are some story content updates that you have to buy if you want to play them, but you can use in-game gold to unlock them. But the best thing is, these updates are free if you log in when they are released. The vanilla version is free with some restrictions. It's pretty ok in terms of story and gives you a taste of the game, but the expansion is definitely giving a lot more stuff to play with and some cool features (mention gliding or mounts). The story started pretty meh imo, but I think the quality is improving each patch. There are missing story parts, so at one point it will feel jumpy, but they are trying to reimplement it in some way and there is a community-made recap video if you're interested. What I like personally about the story is that they are voice acted, including your character. The level system is horizontal. Most of the progressions are cosmetics, convenience, and the mastery system that lets you learn some abilities like gliding and mounting. Not every mastery is that exciting, but some like mounts are really fun and they are really different from other games. There is no hard holy trinity in this game since it all depends on what you make your characters, and you're likely to have your first build as damage dealer. But roles like dps, supports & sometimes tanks exist in the context of group content in the end-game. But generally, when playing solo and open world, it's possible to experiment with different builds.Since the progression is horizontal, with new updates, they also have introduced more attribute combinations. Some not really being used much, but some have definitely added new builds and playstyles. There are dungeons when you level up, and similar thing called Fractal of the Mists when you're max level. Fractals are similar to dungeons but shorter and gradually gets more intense. And recently they added this thing called strike mission, which is a brief instanced mission where it's basically just a boss fight if you'd like to improve mechanical skills and get some rewards.Anyway, good luck! Edit: typos
  8. Gears Gear wise, one of the easiest and accessible gear set is Berserker's stat (power, precision, ferocity). You can get the Exotic version from trading post and, to get the cheapest version, use the search filter by only entering the attributes (power, precision & ferocity), rarity (in this case Exotic), and the type of the gear (e.g mace, or staff, or light armor). Then set the price from low to high. But eventually it boils down on what kind of build you want to go with. For more attribute combinations (prefix), you can check here Hero Points, Specializations, and Build Since you have the expansions, you can unlock & equip elite specializations. It can only be equipped in the third/bottom slot of the specialization template pic. At first, you need to gather Hero Points to unlock them, totaling 250 points for each specialization. The best way to do it is by hunting HPs from the expansion maps since each hero challenge there gives you 10 points or, if you like wvw, use the Testimony of Heorics and get the notarized scrolls of Maguuma/Desert from Heroic Notary vendor. These scrolls will grant you random hero challenges from HoT or PoF maps (that means you don't have to do that challenge anymore on that character). My advice if you wanna you the testimonies, get scrolls of Maguuma first since HoT hero challenges' fights are Champion grade and can be difficult to do alone. But you can always try and the Looking for Group feature and see if there is an HP Train ran by players that usually starts in Verdant Brink. For PoF hero challenge, they are much easier to solo and the fights usually just veteran/elite mobs. Generally, there are two types of damage dealer, power (flat, direct, on-hit damage) and condi (DoT, ticking damage). Power build benefits from power, precision & ferocity attributes. Prefix example: Berserker's, Marauder'sCondi benefits from condition damage, expertise, and sometimes precision (to proc passives that trigger conditions). And a bit of power that bump its damage. Prefix example: Rabid's/Carrion (easy to obtain), Viper's (glass cannon semi-hybrid, but need crafting), Trailblazer's (High condi dmg & tanky, but expensive to craft). Some elite specializations work well with power, some with condi, and some even with both. I would suggest doing your own research on different builds since I don't know what class you're playing. You can check: MetabattleDiscretize.euSnowcrowsDiscretize & Snowcrows got group content builds, so the dps builds are mostly sacrificing self-sustain for open world. But they can give you a general idea on what elite spec is good in what aspect. You can also try out the elite specializations & build by going to PvP lobby (panel located on the top left of your screen), since all skills and specializations are unlocked there, even if you're level 1 in PvE. Content So besides story, you can also do the respective achievements that rewards you title or items as well as AP that counts toward your account progressions. In fact, achievements are tied to many aspect contents across PvE, PvP, and WvW. So the achievement tab is actually a great content guide if you're wondering what there is. For PvE alone it's tied to: Story journalElite specialization collections (reward you with the ascended version of that elite spec's signature weapon)Fractals & RaidsWorld bossesLegendary gearsWorld bosses/meta events. There are big events that happen around some maps and they happen on a schedule. Check this page to see the full schedule of all relevant meta events. Conveniently, you can also open that page from web browser in-game by typing "/wiki et". The letter in the bracket beneath the boss name is a waypoint link of the location of that event. So just click on one of those (like [&BLAAAAA=]), then paste it in your chat. It will create a link that you can click that will show you the location on the world map. Fractals. You can start off your fractal career once you got your exotics. Fractals are divided into 4 tiers, each has 25 levels. Each tier means more difficulties (more HP, damage & "instabilities"). level 1-20 has no agony (in short, agony is a debuff that will seep your health occasionally and significantly reduce healing received). You will need agony resistance (AR) to counter it, that you mainly get from infusions. The higher the level, the more resistance points you need (lvl 21 needs 8 points, and at lvl 100, you'll need 150). These AR infusions can only be slotted to ascended gears (weapon, armors, trinkets), so start getting your ascended trinkets first since they dont need crafting (see this thread, it's about ascended gears), and start working your crafting towards lvl 500. But since you're a bit far from this, I digress. But if you want to start fractals, just make your own LFG and type something like "new player. Doing 0 AR dailies & rec, all welcomed". Dailies and rec refer to daily fractals achievements that you can do everyday to get extra rewards. You can check today's daily from in-game achievement tab, or go to this page. There are 3 fractals that you can do in each Tier for daily (total 12 reward chests if you get to Tier 4), and another 3 for recommended, one fractal from each Tier 1-3. Since you're likely start off with 0 AR, avoid lvl 21-25. However you can use Anguished Tear of Alba to boot up your AR by 10, up to15 if you got Fractal Attunement Mastery, on a caveat that the discounted versions is limited per account (costs 1s60c), but the regular version is unlimited (10s). It might take a while to get your party up, but chances are other than other players who is starting their fractals, vets might come to help as well. All in all, fractal sounds like a lot, but it gives you something to work at and when you get T4 it's a really good way to make gold from dailies. Anyway, I'm playing on NA, but feel free to message me here if you got more questions
  9. You can't use the same trinkets together and, afaik, even if their stats are different. That being said, each LS3&4 have different trinkets of the same type, it's just that they are not sold in one same map but across that LS maps. As an example, for accessories in LS4, you can obtain Mists-Charged Treasure from Dragonfall and the other accessory can be Multifaceted Difluorite Earrings from Sandswept Isle. Or mix one of them with accessories that you get from LS3/laurels/fracs, it doesn't matter as long as the name of those accessories is not the same. There is an exception to Mist Pendant, Mist Band, and Mist Talisman that you can buy from this fractal vendor inside FOTM. You can equip two Mist Pendants/Bands at the same time for these two. Conveniently, if you have selected the stats initially, you can change it again using Mist Capacitor sold by the same vendor.
  10. I mean we don't need a replacement, We just trap the weakened DSD within the ice from Jormag. I think the importance of a replacement is not really to necessarily have another good dragon but to have something else that can regulate the magic flow in Tyria. To backpedal a little, the whole premise we stopped Balthazar killing Kralkatorrik is that even though he was active, killing him would bring catastrophic outcome because he is so integral in a way that he prevent Tyria from blowing up from magical overload by absorbing these magic/energy (through destruction), and release them slowly once back dormant. Now I'm wondering if you stuff an Elder Dragon with magic til it goes to sleep, then somehow 'seal' it, what's going to happen? Will the magic keep seeping out? what happen if all the magic released? Is it even possible to keep an Elder Dragon sealed/prisoned/frozen when it is hungry? Or alternatively what will happen to Tyria if no magic that it is consumed being released? Will Tyria go boom in any magical imbalance, either excess or deficit, situation? Probably yes(?)
  11. I had a problem with the last boss in one of my public run because I think there are only 5-6 six of us. It took sometimes for us to really get it together since it seems you need 6 people harpooning to break its bar, and between the portals, mobs, and keeping the tank up so we can use it, we're pretty much overwhelmed, some downed in cc phase, and people barely notice cc calls when they are overwhelmed by these kinds of stuff. Mechanic wise its pretty simple, but I hope they would polish it further especially with scaling in public mission as we go further into the seasons. But honestly, with full squad and even full public group, it's less problematic to no problem at all.
  12. I think while it's hypothetically possible to equip a functional elite spec weapon while not using the correct elite spec, I could think of two problems why we don't see it happen (well at least as of now): Balance stuff.Possible clash with future elite spec. By clash I mean, if the nature of some future elite specs will alter or augment the weapon skills (think of mirage ambush skill, weaver & thief dual skills) that means the teams will have more weapons to work on and balance. On top of that, existing elite specs that already augment some of the weapon skills have to be updated and revisited continuously when they add more weapons with future elite specs. As example, weaver. They got dual skills for every main hand and two handed weapons. If in the future they add these weapons, that means they gotta revisit weaver and add that skills too. Similar with another class like Mirage as well. Then it goes back to the first point. So all in all, they might have thought about this, about long into the future, I think the problem they're concerned in is primarily how they can sustainably develop future elite specs. I'm not a developer though, it's just an amateur guess. But if we ignore this problem, I can definitely see elite specs weapon be used outside of its respective spec (for that class obviously). Let's say holo sword, while they are tied with heat mechanic, if hypothetically used by scrapper/core, the skills would just be the default, 0 heat, holo sword skills. Or weaver sword used by core/tempest would just mean that every time they switch element they won't get dual skills and no global cool down. Edited some typos.
  13. It's interesting because, first, Jormag doesn't have any foresight ability, at least not that we know. And second, one of Jormag's sphere of influence is persuasion. But at the same time, it feels that there is some truth to that warning. And after the recent announcement, it's obviously becoming more apparent. After our final confrontation with Kralk, the Elder Dragons are not as one-dimensional, devour-all, type of entities. Our current threat right now is basically Bangar who wants to awaken Jormag who is now still dormant, not sure how he plans to awaken the dragon though. Because if we can stop him, there is practically not much active EDs threat in Tyria. But from the IBS trailer, it seems like he's gonna be successful. It would be interesting to see how they gonna resolve IBS and ties it with the next expac (assuming the expac will be released subsequently after IBS). From past interview, their narrative team kinda mentioned something about writing future story not focused on Elder Dragons, but around Elder Dragons. Like they mentioned how if you watch movie about disasters the big baddy usually is another human, and the disaster only used as a setting of the story. Imagine that disaster is the Elder Dragons, and now we got Bangar as the actual baddy. Not sure if they gonna continue with this formula or not, but if so it would be interesting who will be this next non-dragon antagonist. Jormag is indeed sleeping. Even in the last instance of Ep1 Jormag did mention that they're slumbering beneath the ice (at least I take it literally). But I suppose Elder Dragons always have some capacity to manifest their presence through non-physical form (e.g. Mordremoth who could reach out to Scarlett as she opened herself) as well as through their corrupted minions in Tyria. I guess by slumber it means their physical-self is dormant as they got no energy (or magic) to wake up. At least I see it that way since Mordremoth only actually active once Scarlett reroute some leylines toward him.
  14. Realistically, new elite specs, maps, masteries, metas, armor & weapon sets are guaranteed as the underlying content with every expac shipped. Or at least something equivalent to or that can substitute these things at the very least. But I believe Anet also aim to ship new features that has not ever been in the game with every expac release (sorry couldn't give source, but I kinda remember some devs interview about how expac should be "feature-rich" and ls releases are more content-oriented). My hope is that the next expac will introduce and expand life skills to the game. I left a comment in the announcement thread about a feature idea revolving around intercontinental trading. Thought it could be integrated with craftings and maybe new non-crafting skills (botany, farming, fishing whatever) and maybe a great way to have a new home that can be decorated in new continent. Note that this is pretty far-fetched because it would have been a lot of things to add since some of the stuff I wrote below also involves in adding NPCs and some contents to the older maps, but I think it's still within the scope of the feature that might be added to an expac.
