  1. @OP Don't be discouraged by the poll results. You've posted it at GW2 forums, a place even more detached from reality than reddit. If GW2 forums say it's bad idea, then it's a good idea. How do I know? Just visit threads about mounts.
  2. Grandmaster traits should revolve around Blight mechanic not the Shroud. Basically once you reach certain Blight threshold you get the effect of the chosen trait. Sort of like carapace! Why? Because I prefer my two weapon sets and utilities over constantly rushing to get back into shroud and constantly looking at the 1-5. Also it would be cool. I want to swing my greatsword while I'm pulsing strike damage in a majestic 180 radius. I think this would this would let some fresh air into fart filled room that is Harb's gameplay. Thank you.
  3. I'm hoping for some life stealing weapons to pair with a dagger/focus. I know it's a lot of "ifs" but IF they rework that horrid dagger trait and make lifesteals overflow to other players, we could have a real necro healer on our hands.
  4. It happens to me 100% of the time when I glide while in Reaper shroud.
  5. Hello, past me! No it's not. We'll meet at GW1.
  6. At the end of the day the balance, the mantra "identity", the builds, will not matter if the change you are bringing aren't fun. New hammer #4 into hammer #2 sounds REALLY fun, and yes I'm aware that weapon still needs more work! So will mantra changes be hammer #4 into hammer #2 level of fun? Just something devs should ask themselves before making any changes to one of the most played and beloved elite specs in the game.
  7. Hey! Couple of days ago I started leveling my ele, something I haven't done in years without blasting myself with tomes of knowledge. First things I unlocked were signets of fire, earth and air. Then I unlocked cantrip heal Ether Renewal. First traitline I unlocked was Water then Fire. Focus on condition damage with your gear because that's what scepter excels at. Stick with this or some version of it till lvl80.
  8. 10. Heal yourself with Med Kit while in Mechanist 🤣 I'm sorry but what an atrocious spec. If I could I'd delete it from the game along with that weeb swordsman.
  9. Go for a minimum size Norn, heavy or mages. Avoid mediums because of buttcapes.
  10. Cmon man you know that's not what I meant, but I get why would a warrior leave cynical reply. 🙂 Plus I took care to implement it without stepping over major DPS traits. Berserker's relationship with Quickness hasn't changed since HoT release but the game has. Significantly. This way you would have quickness as long as you maintain zerk mode aaaaand, yes, support your allies if you want to. Nothing was taken away. But what if they are reaaaally pwetty and glow and stuff!? (honestly I don't care how they implement it as long as it's not what we have now)
  11. Berserker 1. Burst of Aggression - pulses quickness to you every 3 seconds as long as you are in berserker mode 2. Eternal Champion - (In addition to already present stuff) When you pulse quickness give it to allies as well. It's a two step process of quickness delivery because I want people to spec into it. If you want to be quickness support you shouldn't be able to have Bloody Roar or King of Fires. If you can give it to a Harbinger for merely existing in the game, you can give it to Berserker for maintaining zerk mode as long as possible. Banners 1. Remove quickness (what were you thinking?!) 2. Give us healing banner that some of us are waiting SINCE GAME RELEASE! 3.1. (option) Revert them to what they were, back when they had skillset but they act now like kits. No passive boon application. You have to be in banner to play support. 3.2 (option) Banners are now like Facets. It's attached to your back or has a ghostly graphic of a banner above your head. Activate one and it maintains boons. Press it again (has a ground target) and it does big effect and goes on cooldown. 4. New trait "Total Commander" - Use of Shouts reduces cooldown of Banners. Use of Banners reduces cooldown of Shouts. (dunno where to put it lol) I honestly don't care if any of this happens, but something should happen because what we have right now is so braindead and uninvolved. Boons He he! It almost spells like boo... Summary Basically I think that mythical support warrior is already in the game, it just needs some shuffling of already existing elements and maybe some new additions here and there. I don't know if my ideas are good but they at least don't drop my IQ to single digits while looking at them.
  12. I'd love to have split auto attack. The one we already have against enemies and a healing one when we target allies. If it's a support weapon it'd make sense that the most basic attack does some supporting as well.
  13. Since you have multiple Fervent Forces spread across all GM traits you can also have them regulate different cooldowns. One can be for example a cooldown for a weapons, second one a cooldown for utilities, third one a cooldown for pet abilities. Like I said when you granulate the problem it is much more controlable.
  14. When everything is Fervent Force, than nothing is Fervent Force. All you're left with is Untamed.
  15. 1. If you leave it where it is and "bring it down" you will have to blast it into oblivion to make other (honestly boring) grandmaster traits a valid alternative. 2. If you move it into a minor traits, you will still be forced to "bring it down" significantly and no one will be happy Instead, have all three grandmaster traits have some form of Fervent Force that would activate under different conditions for different builds (power/condi/cele/whatever) By granulating it you make it easier to control. You can change value of cooldown and conditions under which the cooldown occurs on the overperforming build without ruining the fun for other builds. It's basically what you did to Firebrand. You split its Virtues into separate GM traits and I think it's for the best. What would new cooldown conditions be? Well we have a ton of fun traits across all the professions so some of them could be adapted or reimagined into this concept.
