While this is true, SAB is the only current fun content in the light of the SotO atrocity.

It's not a bug. You must have done it in Infantile Mode before, and that Mode doesn't count for these types of Achievements. You need to do them at least in Normal Mode, which you access via the villager in the middle (between both clouds). I did it in on two accounts, and it counted as intended.

I finished World 1 yesterday and experienced none of the above issues. Perhaps there was something wrong with your internet connection?

I wouldn't mind to share my stats. I do, however, mind having my characters' looks (especially the hours I spent on colors) revealed with simply a click. I want an opt-out option.

But at least they were not able to figure out what color combos you were using. This now is truly impertinent. It's supporting laziness to be creative yourself and destroys the uniqueness of characters.

I meant that the Obsidian Armor sets are not worth it, because their in-game version is darn ugly, and any gold and/or other resources spent on it are a waste. 😉
