  1. The single use Gift Dolyak Tonic is (and has been) broken for quite some time now....like over a year. We use it for funny games but haven't been able to do so in quite some time because each time we try to use it, we get a message saying we can't transform at this time. Here is a screenshot showing what happens. it consumes one of the tonics from the stack but doesn't do anything but tell us we can't.... https://imgur.com/xxo0Y3d I reported an in-game bug about this last year, and then sent in a ticket about it just the other day, but the problem goes unresolved. After hearing back from customer support a couple of days ago, they say there is nothing that they can do about it and to try reporting it here. Anyways, it's no big deal, however it IS a broken in-game item that people use currency to buy, so it might be worth looking into.
  2. Can confirm that doubling up weapons does NOT increase the chance to proc. In fact when i went with 2 it took even longer. It's just baaaaaaad RNG. This is also a couple weeks later. It's like one of the cool new features of having a Gen3, and it rarely happens. Anet needs to fix it so it happens maybe like 1 time every 30 seconds. That way it gives a nice little gap between animations so it doesn't over-stack, but it happens often enough between kills that it makes having the weapon worth it. Especially when you are standing around new players and they want to know why that nearby rabbit exploded into crystals lol.
  3. lol thank you...i just wish i could figure out how to embed images on here again
  4. Still a pretty major work in progress: https://imgur.com/QmjdRxI.png EDIT: Since it wont allow me to post images here anymore, I went ahead and posted this one to Reddit. Here is the link (lots of images): https://www.reddit.com/r/Guildwars2/comments/neigoz/finally_finished_main_asura_character/
  5. Thank you very much. I'm not the best animator or rigger out there, but hey...the rig works lol
  6. Just a test to make sure the rig works when balling him up. lol The inside view is kind of adorable.
  7. The model was actually ripped out of the game itself, I am just doing a LOT of geometry cleanup, rigging, and quality shading for use in a personal project. I just wanted to share what i've so far in the cleanup process. I'm still playing with the shell aspect of the rig so he can roll up nicely.
  8. these beetle timers make 0 sense. Like they must be running at different times on different shards. Like 25 minutes ago I checked on the Gendarran track and it popped 30 seconds ahead of schedule (according to my timer) and then i went back just before it was supposed to pop again, and it was already active 10 minutes and 10 seconds ahead of my time. Other tracks were a few seconds off from the time I had recorded before, but then some others were a few minutes off. Each shard is definitely running race events on its own schedule, so there really is no way to determine when a race is going to be active without first knowing the IP it's on and then the time that's running on that IP on a continuous basis. So pretty much...impossible to determine the start time of race events as of right now.
  9. So I know I'm way late on this one, and I hope it will get some attention again, but ever since beetle races came out last year, I have been hating having to go from map to map and guess when the next race is going to start. Yesterday I decided to take the task of effectively timing the start of each racing event using my guild website's recurring event system. I stood at the starting line of each race with the wiki's server clock open and marked the EXACT TIME (to the second) at which each starting line event would pop up. I then applied that to each timer with the proper time intervals provided on the wiki for each event. IT WORKED!!!.....at least for a little while... After about 12 hours of continuous run time on my timers, I checked back a little bit ago on each race to see how well they held up. It appears that the times had shifted about 32 seconds over those 12 hours (event would pop up about 32 seconds after the timer hit 0). It was like this for 4 out of 5 races, the 5th race time being inverted completely, so when the countdown to the event hit 0, the race was ending instead of starting, making the event exactly 10 early from the timer. IN CONCLUSION:I feel that maybe race events on the megaserver system are note entirely synced to a specific start time? I may need to ask a dev to confirm this, but it looks to be that each shard might have a different set of timers based on when that shard becomes active. I will continue to investigate this and hopefully get an official answer. Until then, feel free to have a look at the timers I created so that you may see what I am talking about... https://tinyarmy.org/beetle/
