The entrance to the "private bank" area you're referring to does have visual hints: a big shimmery thing in front of it, a Greeter NPC you can talk to, and you're pushed back and given a dialogue box when you try to go in without a pass to the lounge.

I think 2000 is fair, considering the amount of time it takes to do full map completion. I'd love to see one for GOB, too, for the same price. And I like the notion of it only being allowed if you've earned one in the past, as well.

Doesn't every map have NPCS with "Directions" in their name that will mark where banks/TP/crafting stations are?

Well, if you're going to make a full set of armor, you'll need to have enough characters to get one of each of those gifts for each armor piece. So if you have another six characters you don't mind running through map completion again, then there's no real need to contact support for it. But if you'd rather save yourself a character, there's no harm in asking support.

That's not what I was talking about, though. The question was why an opt-in option would be toxic, and I replied with how the toxicity is in the insults being thrown around, not in the suggestion itself.

WoW doesn't have dyes, but I'm not really sure how that matters. It makes it even easier to fully copy a look in WoW, since there are no dyes.

I'm pretty sure it's not the mere desire for an opt-in that was being referred to as toxic there. It's the small handful of people (on both sides) resorting to insults as a way to defend their case.

I love playing Fashion Wars. I change my characters' looks fairly often, usually sticking with a set theme for each character. I love it all, and I really could not care less if someone else wants to copy parts of (or even all of) that look. That being said, I think an opt in/opt out option wouldn't be a bad idea.
