  1. Hey all, I really want play a Healer Herald or Rene in fractals. I know Revenant class has a healer build but my problem is the sharing stab with my party... When I writing my last sentence, an idea come up to my mind which I didnt try yet:) I'll mention it below. Specifically for Heal Herald, we need Dragon Stance for quick share (because our utility skills giving this boon) and Ventari for heal. But in fractals, especially in CMs, Stab become one of the most important boon. For Stab sharing, we have to swap to Jalis which means we have to abandon our Quick sharing (which is nuts) or our healing capabilities (which is close to nuts because, especially in pugs, healing is important). Many class like Specter or Druid/Untamed have such problem; they have to use their precious utility slots to give important boons. Solution for this would be better of course, but I'm just suggesting a minor change specifically for Heralds. Can you give Stab option for Ventari stance? Because we cant even freely select our utility skills like other classes. About my idea; for Heal Renegade (which I never tried), do we have to select Ventari and Kalla? I mean, is this a must? What happens if we bring Ventari and Jalis for ex. 🙂 I believe our cc capabilites will reduce slightly and we wont have Soulcleave options, but we will bring perma stab.
  2. Is it possible to like this topic for million times? I'm totally with you my friend. Include medium leg armor animation:) I wasnt really into strikes. Actually, I experienced it for the first time just 2 weeks ago. First time I saw the description in LFG system, I scared. IBS 5, EOD, Hell, Yeah, OMG, need HFB with 1000 Li... I joined. After 30 min, we have done all things thats written in description. I look at the screen for a minute and asked to myself; "Is that all?" First time I experienced a raid with my Druid... Omg. We wiped so many times at Vale Guardian and I was so frakin curious about that cave entrance right behind the boss. Whats in there? What we gonna see next? And I missed that excitement.
  3. Actually, I asked for high end content:) Is Hammer base damage really that higher than other weapons?
  4. Hmmm... I will try dagger+dagger tonight. Last night with hammer, with a nearly perfect rotation (skill cancel count was 4, and Relentless Fire was on cooldown after my first rotation... I dont know how to describe "nearly perfect rotation:) my dps was 26k max without food+utility buffs. I may feel more comfortable with dagger+dagger rotation and have better result.
  5. Omg I didnt know the 10 sec cd. And I just realised there are blast skills only in Fire and Earth attuns with scepter+dagger. Maybe we can fill this gap with utility skills.
  6. Hey all, First of all, I'm not an Elementalist expert. I just tried Catalyst last night. Its really hard to keep up Elemental Empowerment. If I didnt get it wrong, I have to blast combo field to increase my empowerment stacks. Does this rule include any combo field? For ex. if i put a combo field with dagger 4, and blast it with scepter 3; then blast the sphere combo field with scepter 2. Are these count as elemental emp. stacks? Also, Anet just buffed the Scepter with 29 Nov. patch. So my question is, did anyone tried a different weapon rather than Hammer? Thanks all,
  7. Hey all. My question is simple, you can check out the title:) I'm a little bit bored to play HFB in Fractals. Do you think Heal/Quickness Herald (with Minst. set) can give similar performance as HFB in fractals?
  8. I'm totally aggree with you my friend. Addons in WoW become mandatory rather than QoL situation. I aggree especially to "where people should respond to visual and sound queues" this sentence of yours. This is what make raiding in GW2 so fun and challenging. Thats why all I ask is just a simple UI editor.
  9. Dear ArenaNet Team, Guys… I’m getting old. And it become harder for me to see boon durations, conditions on boss, or cooldown counters. In every MMO I’ve played before, I place target frame right next to player frame, so I can easily see that I’m taking damage and/or I have to burst dps boss. I place both player and target frame right above my action bars, so I can easily see my avoidance abilities and/or dps abilities cds are up. If I’m healer, I place party/squad frame close to the center. If I have to track my boons (for ex. Engineer’s Explosive Temper trait buff), I place boon frame right side of my characters head. If I have an additional power bar to track, I place it close to target frame… Long story short, I use a compact UI and gather every frame I have to see during combat, at the bottom of my screen. In Guild Wars 2, we have to check 3 sides of our screen during combat. GW2 is an action-paced game, and in action paced games, players should focus to the center of screen. I tried to use larger scale in the game, but then I realize I cant see the game:)I know that you are working on next xpack, and you are busy. I’m not suggesting that you can allow addons for this. I’m just suggesting that, PLEASE, let us place and scale this beautiful game’s UI elements separately. And if there is a reason why you are not doing it, please let us know. Kind regards,
  10. Dear ArenaNet Team, I’m not sure where to write this suggestion, but I hope you will see it and respond. I believe this suggestion was made before on forums, but I just wanted to ressurect it on a clean page. I have a problem with GW2 UI. Let me tell you my situation: Guys… I’m getting old. 11. Thanks for the great feedbacks guys. I start to do some CMs last weekend. It was a great way to Aegis training:) Also, I really want to take elite mantra most of the time, but pugs, as Cyninja.2954 mentioned, rarely stacked. So its hard to give perma quickness just with utility mantras.
  12. Thanks for the feedback. My problem is, in some fights, Stand Your Ground and Tome 3 are not enough for stab maintanence, so I have to get Mantra of Liberation (also, Discretize suggesting to always equip Mantra of Liberation unless there is no need for Stab). But then, it become harder to maintain perma quickness without Feel My Wrath, especially if my teammates doesnt stack. I can not unequip Bow of Truth for more Stab, because its my Level 2 "Oh s..." heal. I can not unequip Mantra of Potence, because, you know, its quickness:) And because all these, I can not equip Bane Signet most of the time. I'm trying to adapt my build to my pug group, not just to fractal. But these decisions are so complicated and rough as a hfb.
  13. Hey all, This is my first post on GW2 forums, so I’m a little bit excited:) I have a question for you. I’m playing this game since the core game released, most of the time I take a break for 5-6 months, then return and continue my progress from where I left it. But this time, I faced some warnings (or insults most of the time) during fractal runs with my HFB. I believe, some of my teammates wants me to become their pocket healer during fractal. For ex. Snowblind fractal, last boss fight; in a phase, boss dissepear, summon some adds and whole combat area bombarding by AoE. I believe in this phase, every team member stop dpsing and start avoiding those AoEs. Then, after bombardement ends, whole party should focus on elite add, and right there, healer should heal his/her party members, am I right? Some days ago, after we wiped on mentioned boss, 2 of my team members started to insult me that how noob and idiot I am, and whining about where is the heal. I asked, we were all spread around, if I decide to heal, which team member I should heal? They didnt answer my question and after another insult phase, they rage quit. I mean… this is not WoW, there is no spot heal in GW2. And instead of raids, most of the fractal damage is avoidable. So, every team member should avoid damage if its possible (unless its an extreme situation like last boss of Reactor, if you decide to stay on one panel and burst the boss). Or sometimes, ppl asking me for perma Stability, but it took 5 minutes to they take down a 1-min-fight-boss, and also during this time, they want perma quickness too. Btw, these examples are minority. Most of the time, I find a party, we get in, clear the T4 dailies without any casulities, we wish having a nice day to each other, and left. Is my logic wrong? Or did I just faced against elitism?
