  1. 2 things about Virtuoso The issue with the projectile block needs to be resolved People crying about the condi variation and relying on the fact that Mirage is a "condi spec" need to be hard forced into queues with all the power Mirages in PvP and WvW until they forget that Virtuoso exists and start crying about the sword ambush instead, so that we can redirect useless feedback somewhere else until the release
  2. I feel cut off from about half of the gameplay because it doesn't reward participation. I defend keeps, complete the "repel the enemy attack" event and get zero participation for it . Defending in few numbers is possible if the keep is upgraded, but defending in few numbers doesn't yield you kills, so you end up having your participation decay. So why would I ever defend? I scout ahead of the squad and end up missing out on the experience and the participation for capturing objectives. So why would I ever scout? I want to escort dolyaks because they seem to be important for upgrading keeps and towers, but doing so doesn't reward participation. So why would I ever protect dolyaks? I understand that the majority of players are already level 1200+ and with 20 legendries each, so they don't care if they have 0 participation, but these issues really affect the gameplay until then. And some other minor feedback/questions: Why do vegetable/herb/berry nodes exist? Half of the items they yield are in such excess they don't even have buying lots on the AH because you can't set it lower than 2 copper. The siege vendor seems to be selling overpriced siege comparing to the AH? Everything but catapults costs copper on my server. Superior siege still costs less than this vendor's. Why isn't there better customisation of nameplates? If I use simplified nameplates, enemies without a guild become indistinguishable from pets. If I use full nameplates, they get filler names, making them difficult to distinguish from NPCs. So far I settled on treating every pet as if it were a player because there's no other option. Why isn't there more incentive for comms to play on border maps? Everyone seems to be stacked on EBG for reasons unknown to me, but why not give comms a bonus of like 1 pip or extra participation for leading a squad on a border map? Recently I experience this situation: 30-50 player queue to EBG, meanwhile on every border map everyone are just flipping camps and there's zero other activity. It just makes me want to log off for the day, because it's like watching your birthday party being celebrated without you while you're stuck in a tailback.
  3. Coming from other MMOs the target frame in gw2 is very frustrating. I understand that there's "autotargeting" and such, but sometimes I want the target to just stay there forever until I kill it while also retaining the autotargeting functionality. So I guess if I don't have any hostile target then the autotargeting function would determine my target, and then after I lock into it (or if I had it to begin with) it would never switch away from it.I've tried all combinations of settings and could never achieve this. With the current setup (autotarg on, promote on, skill retarg off) I don't see what I'm hitting half off the time. I've been missing defiance bar constantly because of that, but also I've been often sending my offhand phantasms (mesmer) to a target somewhere far away from what I'm currently hitting because I targeted that mob accidentally, which is very frustrating. Also what adds to the frustration is "remove target" being bound to M1, which isn't the case in most other MMOs, so I never had the muscle memory to stop myself from accidentally clicking on the ground sometime, but in gw2 it makes me lose my target frame. I think if I try to boil it down to a single sentence, my QoL suggestion would be: add an option to remove the "untarget" functionality from M1
  4. Demonstration: https://streamable.com/e64fiu Occurs: both in groups/squads and soloon any swap during the combat, not just the first onein dragonfall, jahai bluffs, thunderhead peaks dragon response mission - 100% spotted by me in these locationsfighting any type of enemy, from bosses to regular onesFirst spotted on 20th, the recording above is from 21st, and I've had it today on 2 occasions as well. Before 20th I was running a different build, so I can't tell if it's a weapon set issue specifically or not
  5. Maybe the rune of tormenting was the missing piece of the puzzle to being able to survive with the axe. I'll definitely try it out
  6. I've spend at least 250 hours on this very class in the last month and I still struggle to find a comfortable build to play story and OW content on.I've considered 2 of the popular suggestions: marauder power chrono and rabid staff/staff mirageAs for the former, I just can't stand how it lacks self-sustain. Even if you play it with a proper healing ability instead of the signet. I really like playing s/s (or s/f) and gs but whenever I get hit for half of my hp but some random ability I just run around for my lifeThe latter is complete opposite - it's impossible to kill, but it also can't kill anything fast enough. What takes me on the power build (or any other character with the power build) around 3 seconds to kill, this build will work through for at least 10 seconds. What takes 10 seconds on a power build, this build tackles in a solid 1.5 minutes. This TTK is highly uncomfortable, even though you're practically unkillable. I've tried many variations of the builds and I've by now memorised almost all of the available traits of this class, but I just can't find the combination that would be comfortable to playIt is for sure a matter of skill and I don't claim that I play perfectly on chrono (which is the go to recommendation from what I've read), but I just don't want to memorise every single animation of every single enemy that I fight to be able to... not die? Staying alive on half of other classes takes no attention or effort, but staying alive on power chrono is the primary goal of the gameplay, so you're playing monster hunter against every enemy you encounter. Any suggestions?
  7. What weapon do you think each class will be able to use with the addition of the new elite specs in EoD?Let's speculate. My guesses for the classes that I play are as follows:Mesmer - either daggers or a long/short bow. I think daggers are a safer bet, but I'd really love to see a bow. Daggers could be a power version of axe with a few additional twists, and bows would be something like pistol skill 1 and staff skill 3, that type of phantasm generation combined with 900/1200 rangeWarrior - staff. Something similar to revenant's staff, something support-esque probablyEle - greatsword would be lovely. Maybe even done in the faith of mesmer's greatsword or revenant's hammerRevenant - tough call because the use range of the existing weapons is so good, but I'll go with mh mace or oh warhorn
