  1. Thank you. Hopefully it's not to expensive. I have very little money. But I dont know if anything in my gear is uniform, so that's an option.
  2. Yes, I'm aware that I can use the Gem Store, I just don't like the concept of putting my credentials into a streaming game service to then be sent to ANet. When it was justMy Mac ---> ArenaNetI felt better, and less likely to get my card skimmed, but now since it's more likeMy Mac ---> GeForce ---> ArenaNetI'm less comfortable. Dumb problem? yeah, probably. It still bothers me though, and that's why I was looking for alternatives.
  3. Returning player here after 4 years absence. I'm trying to catch up on my Living Story, which I'm really enjoying. But usually, I am playing alone, and every now and then I hit some pretty tough obstacles.I remember one specific story instance in LS3 where the Commander needs to train the newly hatched Aurene (Precocious Aurene). I'm playing as an elementalist this time, and dang, it just never worked. It took almost an hour to get through the first few segments. Trying to defend against mordrem killed me so often. And after dying SO much in the maze, I finally gave up for the day.I'm trying to gauge whether or not I should be able to do these alone, or if I just am really bad at playing. Are all instanced story missions achievable or passable alone? I guess, should they be? I don't always like to use PUGs because sometimes other players can rush everything when I like to take my time and enjoy the story. It would be great if all the story instances would be passable with one player, but I think that would require way better AI on the part of the supporting cast.
  4. Returning player here. I started playing GW2 in 2013 because it was one of the few MMOs on Mac, and the best one in my opinion. Returned to the game after a 4 year break in December. And I'm incredibly saddened to know I won't be able to play it natively on my Mac soon. I'm planning to try GeForce Now per the official forum post, and initial runs are going alright (though I can't use Command Keys apparently. That sucks.) But I really want to buy some gems to catch up on the Living Story. The thing is, the idea of connecting to another computer somewhere to input my credit card credentials to send to a third computer somewhere makes me feel uncomfortable. I don't like the idea of typing in my credit card information knowing that the stuff I'm seeing on the screen is being sent from somewhere else. And I can't help but worry that it would be all too easy for someone else to watch my screen remotely. I can't seem to find Gem Cards in stock anywhere anymore... Is there another way that users might be able to buy gems with real money (not game gold)? Somewhere in the official site even?
