The last time I played was after Southsun but before the ending to season 2 which I found weird since the map for the Southsun area was locked when I came back even though I have the Southsun Stalwart title to show I was there. I started playing again a couple of months ago and the game seems super surreal. Glowing and sparkly people on mounts are flying and jumping around all over the place while I'm just casually walking around, looking at everything, and talking to NPC's. lol Instead of just grabbing one of my old characters I started a new one and went through the living world episodes I have unlocked. I only have the core game that I bought years ago and I haven't decided yet if I'm going to go and buy any of the expansions. Right now it's a maybe someday.

I hit a bug that got me through this one. I triggered an attack by accident and while trying to evade I ended up on one of the shield generator platforms. The generators decided to respawn right then and I somehow ended up stuck inside of a shield generator. Everyone attacks me of course but since I'm stuck inside this thing none of them could hit me but I could hit them with the leap attack and that attack that makes you jump around. These didn't get me unstuck but they did do damage so after a bit I ended up killing them all and only Vopp or whatever his name is was left. So I'm standing there thinking now what? I googled what to do when you're stuck and found the /stuck command. Worked a treat so after the teleport I run up to Vopp and just kill him.

I want to play as a ghost in Ascalon. I'm still a little miffed that the Char ended up taking control of the area after all the many hours upon hours I spent in GW1 defending it.

You know if they wanted to allow replaying LS1 they could do it. They've already done this type of thing with GW1. They had the pre-searing area and there are likely characters still there to this day. It should be doable to have a pre-scarlet area for new players with a doorway to LS2. They could even do this for each LS if they wanted so the world could change between different parts of the story. How easy it would be to pull off or how much in terms of resources it would take I have no idea but they could do it if they wanted.
