  1. Well, as proven by Season 3, they thought Primordus in GW1 was too small too. So... And Drakkar could have been interesting. They just... dropped the ball... again... like with Lazarus, and Dhuum. It's been awake and feeding off of magic for a couple of hundred years now. The Commander has put a lot into the system as well. That is one common player theory to explain the size change. But it'd be best if it came out of ArenaNet's mouth, and not be on the shoulders of players to try to explain continuity issues. LW3 Primordus was way too big, I think it's only to let ppl see it clearly. The whole model would be smaller. Zhaitan and Mordremoth' body was the size dragons should have. Kralkatorrik was ok since it was meant to be like a mountain from the beginning.Yeah, I think the same, its that big only due to be better visible from far. As we can see with Kralkatorrik's size, his original size in PoF (when we could see only his head in the sky) was about 2x larger than his current size, burried by mists chunks. The neck in the cave was different size and the flying model is another size. so i think Primordus will be resized too, at least to the size of actual Kralk.
  2. Here are my new renders of new Elder dragon champion and world boss - Drakkar! As you can see, he has very detailed model and its the same size type as Vlast, Glint and Elder Aurene.I made comparisons with a human, Aurene, Vlast and Claw of Jormag (they are both Jormag's champions so it should make sense).I added those pictures on wiki and also a measurement of his size, in Trivia on Drakkar's wiki page.Enjoy this beautiful creature! https://wiki.guildwars2.com/images/5/51/Drakkar_human.jpghttps://wiki.guildwars2.com/images/1/1c/Drakkar_Aurene_Vlast_comparison1.jpghttps://wiki.guildwars2.com/images/4/40/Drakkar_Aurene_Vlast_comparison2.jpghttps://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/File:Drakkar_Claw_comparison2.jpghttps://wiki.guildwars2.com/images/a/a2/Drakkar_Claw_comparison1.jpg and one render from perspective:https://wiki.guildwars2.com/images/3/32/Drakkar_render1.jpg more are coming - renders of Elder Aurene and Kralkatorrik!
  3. Hello fellas,Konig contacted me that there is Aurene's model in dat files, so I had to check it out and found the model and textures and I want to share it with you all. She has many textures there so I dont know how to exactly use them, so it may not look as its supposed to do, but still. Check my few renders of Elder Aurene and quick comparison with some other well known dragons! https://drive.google.com/open?id=1S0hw2-1TY6n54I8O-HjKyowzoKwXNAq0
  4. It was me, the models were just parts which i had to stick together. The severed wing was only wrong rotated, other fitted easily. I think that would need a hyper-ultra-mega glue to stick that much tonnes of stone xD Quickly made that:https://drive.google.com/open?id=1cGw2npiX5aCLFx6NdD2u11gViUiwf33Ihttps://drive.google.com/open?id=1dsgHynEIfeskGt_NYvVtKxBtQKudZcZGhttps://drive.google.com/open?id=1Av29vx8qpDSEGv2wLvnoBaDCccZwB1KSThe scale went hugely down. I bet they will scale down that extreme Primordus too. Thats why i wont add it in final renders because its scale is not probably final, and they can change it too.
  5. BIG UPDATE!After hours of playing with the model and playing actual game, I realised that my model is maybe too big. It was easy to see when I was standing on the tail and when I imported model of human and placed it on the same place. So I started to search for models of actual laying Kralk on the map. After some hours, I found it. It is acutally composed from 17 models (tail, head, neck, hand, leg, etc..). https://drive.google.com/open?id=1fB5GXmG8a-41xP4XN_JNIPYKdQ4L0i8e Now I could compare it: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1PCmfFcywbKbJUvBzxVql2Va6c0f2h0uo A = original datamined model from actual story. Its used in flight battle with Aurene.B = actual Kralkatorrik laying on the map we can walk on.C = my resized A model according to the size of head and neck we physically fought in The auditoriumIts obvious Anet is constantly changing his size (the first head in PoF was the largest scale, larger than in The auditorium). But the real actual Kralkatorrik is the size B, because its the physically closest size to us we can walk on. So I just resized my model C to the size of B very accurately and closely by just the head, because the whole body is too deformed: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1iBrbfTJ_kACIhVAjSk7mR194zyb-OP_4 Then we can compare these two and it fits nicely: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1OS3skjtvmeNl2MCw1haki37tPR5T7_zc So this is it. The real size. Wingspan is 2,2 km, he is 1,66 km long and 521 m tall.He is taller than the wingspan of Zhaitan. Quick traditional comparison with other dragons: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1A4lP5UUxpeMLq24S0cif53n8lUH9Irxr https://drive.google.com/open?id=1LNB0FsKlfg2IUfcJL9D58r9tjAFxdwdg I like how it fits with old Zhaitan model size. Its very shame that they remodelled Zhaitan and he is so small compated to the original and Kralk. Unfortunately the shatterer on the second render is missing, but I still need to play with textures a bit (because I found more detailed Kralks's tail so I replaced the original not so good detailed tail, but it has different lighting textures so I need to tune them to the right appearance) Soon I will post better renders with comparison with just elder dragons and with The Shatterer for use on the wiki. I also plan to rig the model to animate it for some even better renders and pozes, but that will take many many hours to do and I also want to play the game now
  6. And here it is, the moment we all waited for!Now we have THE WHOLE Kralkatorrik. I played the new patch for several minutes only, but I rather spent several hours for correct positioning of Kralk's textures in Cinema 4D, lol. What I figured out first: Kralk's whole body was drastically resized down. I assume it was done just because of the story step when you fly on Aurene with Kralk in the mists, because of the view diestance limitations of game's engine, we would not were allowed to see his whole body.So i took the neck with head model we fought in The Auditorium and resized up the whole body model exactly to its neck and head size. Man, its huge. Its wingspan is 3km long! Here is the comparison of the size of the model used in the story step when you fly on Aurene with Kralk and right sized model according to real size of head and neck we fought in The Auditorium, notice the damaged, Aurene-branded half of the head! https://drive.google.com/open?id=12EcVM_tb6EHvtc8GfkC83sZiysf9A2iP Maybe you ask why the head isnt branded on the scaled model. Its because I replaced the damaged head with the old undamaged one, so the whole dragon is in perfect condition! https://drive.google.com/open?id=1ja1Bw3XgqHlynI1NHJbGl72k-tULbjM7 Now the size comparison of all other dragons in Guild Wars 2: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1apknrie0B0pMFqzsHC1_6r8WZo2Zi9uV On the right there is Aurene, then Vlast, then dragon champions. As I said, the wingspan is 3 km long and from head to tail he is long 2,29 km.
  7. thats old model concept of dead Zhaitan, but they never implemented it in game
