  1. This is definitely still a bug that is happening. Most notably on the Bearded skins for the skyscale. If I swap to any other skin (so far) mounting is instant with no lag issue. I really hope this gets looked into soon, because I do really wanna use this skin set for my skyscale. Currently no other mount has given me any issue other than this skin set for Skyscale.
  2. That's what I'm thinking too. I figured after the the recent license pack release it would have poofed but nope. Not that this a huge bug worth fretting over but thought Anet would like to know just in case.
  3. Recently I happened to notice among my raptor mount skins there was one mystery locked skin that made no sense. Being a mount skin collector I've bought every skin in the game up to this point (don't judge my addiction lol). This locked skin appears to be a duplicate of a skin I already owned, yet the one I have works fine. The mysteriously locked skin doesn't seem to make much sense when I already own it. You can see by the screenshot the preview image is identical to the one I do have unlocked.
  4. Been experiencing it too. Makes it harder to attack a world boss with my normal set of skills, but instead use other methods that don't use ground targeting. I hope this gets resolved soon considering this event revolves around world bosses.
  5. Can confirm it is happening on my end too. I really hope this gets fixed because I primarily use my Ele with staff for fights, and staff is mostly ground targeting AOE attacks.
  6. In a past thread similar to this my list was a bit different than what it is now. With the new Skyscale my viewpoint has changed a little and what order I see them in. Currently this is how I view my mount list: Griffon: Great at traveling at fast speeds with little to micro manage stamina wise. Easy to glide over certain dangerous areas without a problem. Plus those Griffon races are a blast to do! And I'm a big sucker for birds for some biased reasons. Skyscale: Although not fast as the Griffon, it is great at going at a casual pace. It also makes it a lot easier to regain my barrings while hovering. And I gotta admit the wall cling is amazingly useful when I just need to chill somewhere for a quick AFK moment. Raptor:Still my go-to mount when I need to travel on land and fast. Easy to bypass most threats once it has all masteries. And those derpy puppy-like animations just make the mount's personality stick out from the rest. Springer:With its latest improvement to powering up faster its made this mount a lot more useful. Being able to hop ledges much faster than a Skyscale could hover upwards makes it still a very much loved mount. Also that bar break it can do with its ability makes greatly viable. Skimmer: I still love this mount. Although I rarely ever use its engage ability its still very much useful when traveling vast amount of water. I'm always finding myself pulling it out when I need it. Jackal: I don't find myself pulling this one out as often as the others. Doesn't mean it hasn't been helpful when needed. Of course portals are great when one needs to go from one area to another in a split second. But I also tend to use it when I find running up hills or having to maneuver tight places is difficult for the Raptor. Admittedly jumping from high places only to use the blink at the last second to avoid fall damage is pretty satisfying. Roller Beetle: I rarely ever pull this one out unless absolutely needed. Its movement is stiff and hard to control. However, as of recently I found using it in core Tyria maps has been amazingly helpful. Having started a new character just a few nights ago I'm already roaming core maps to unfog them and nab Waypoints. The beetle has been absolutely wonderful with traveling these maps. I could do it with Griffon but then I'd miss a lot of the Waypoints I'd need later. Warclaw: Not much to say about it. I use it for WvW when roaming but outside WvW it is absolutely useless. More or less just another mount to show off. If they added that third stamina bar from WvW it might have a place. I sometimes use it when traveling with friends who don't have a mount yet because it moves so slow.
  7. Not really a absolutely needed change to be added asap but something maybe worth considering? I noticed while doing most of the Skyscale hunt I found myself gliding around the edges of the map to find the scales, sick dragons and eggs really close to the borders. More often than not while trying to get just a small glimpse of the side of mountains and crevices I found myself reaching the maps edge faster than I had anticipated. This either snaps me backwards a bit or sometimes teleports me to the place I was last at before gliding. Afterwards I need to regain my barrings and try to continue on with my search, locating the spot I last was at.
  8. You don't have to hold forward to continue clinging. Recently I found out if you press auto run (by default this is R) you'll forever wall cling without having to hold it until you press it again or a different movement key.
  9. Correct. I haven't done anything that would warrant it disappearing. And honestly it wasn't a great amount lost, so I'm not too hurt about it. More or less curious if anyone else has experienced something similar to this. Others have stated weapon stats reverting and mount skins disappearing. Whatever happened might be the same bug but affected others differently in some way.
  10. What I sold on the Trading Post was definitely not enough of a fee to take as much as it had. This looks like something completely different. And I don't use the salvage-o-matics. I am aware of how it works. There is a listing fee but this was not it. This acts like it was completely reverted to a time before I did anything. Almost like the money I had just earned at the Trading Post was removed completely and rolled back to a certain point. I picked up what I had before logging out for a night, logged back in just today, noticed I lost the gold I had just earned.
  11. This is a bit of a weird bug I came across. Just recently I noticed my gold amount had changed to where I lost some of it. What I originally had before just the other day had recently reverted back to an older amount I had maybe a few days ago. I've never purchased anything anywhere in the last couple of days. I've checked multiple history transactions and came up with nothing. The only thing I have done recently is sell a few things on the Trading Post, which brought up my gold amount just a small amount, but enough to where I noticed the change. I've also heard from friends some of their accounts have also had similar situations. Maybe not with gold exactly but weapon upgrading and even mount skins that were once unlocked are now locked again. Has anyone else had something like this happen as of recently?
  12. This was an issue I've experienced only once so far. A rather annoying issue I might add. For now the only solution I've known to fix it is restarting the game and it works again. Probably not the solution you wanna hear but its a temporary one until something fixes it.
  13. I really hope this gets fixed. The sound alone bothers my ears a great deal, especially if the commander you're following is bugged with it. Switching maps or relogging isn't an option when you're trying to do some meta events where the map is full.
  14. Most welcome :) It is so weird that only select mounts have it. I tested it out on the new Springer skin and it is flawless. That is unless I'm missing some minor details somewhere I failed to see at the time of coloring it.
  15. Nice to see nothing has changed with the new Griffon skin.
