  1. 1) Yes. This is an accumulation of all stacks that you have applied. In reality, each stack is its own damage tick, and there is an option in the menu to Show Simple Condition Numbers. However, this will result in a LOT (and I mean a LOOOOOOT) of white numbers flying off enemies, as it's showing the damage of each and every stack as an individual white number the moment it deals its damage. The condensed Condition floater is the accumulation of all the damage that was dealt in one second added up into one number with a symbol next to it designating which condition source dealt that much damage. 2) For world bosses, in the faraway past, the condition max stack used to be 25. This made condi builds extraordinarily BAD vs World bosses, as tons of skills incidentally applied conditions, even from power builds, that overwrote people who had condition damage in their build. However, this has long since been rectified as conditions can now stack, as above stated, to 1,500 per condition. Past 100 stacks visible, the stack effect will instead just show an (!) mark, but all conditions and their damage are still being applied.
  2. To answer the question of if this build would do well in Raids/Strikes/Fractals, the answer is a fairly hard no. You have way too many defensive stats and traits to be a damage dealer with full Celestial and Death Magic. Issues for sure would arise with the tank on some encounters, and you offer no group utility with this build if you were the primary tank. As for your utilities, the minions do negligible damage across the encounters and the self-utility you have with them from Flesh of the Master and Necromantic Corruption, most encounters these are basically useless on. As for Dungeons, go for it. That content isn't as hard on team comp and builds. Mostly. You'd be fine in Dungeons with it. However, as an open world exploration build, it's fine. Minionmancer is a very popular build for that, as you have a literal army that runs with you as you hit trash mobs, do events for heart completion, or what have you. It's thematically fun as hell. Basically, selfish builds are good for open world and such, but less so for dedicated group content.
  3. The achievement that unlocks the griffon true is called "Open Skies: On Wings and a Prayer." This is completed by entering an instanced area at the Sunspear Sanctuary, having completed the other Open Skies achievement lines. So my recommendation would be to search your achievement list for "Open Skies" and check which are still incomplete.
  4. Second button from the bottom on the minimap, looks like a little arrow. That toggles rotation lock. It also auto-centers the map if you scroll it around, so make sure it's already centered on your toon before toggling the rotation.
  5. To quote from the wiki:"To unlock the mastery system, the following requisites must be completed: Having reached level 80, the highest level, on any character in the account.Having purchased the expansion Path of Fire (The Heart of Thorns expansion is included for free when purchasing Path of Fire).Having completed the first chapter of either the Heart of Thorns (Torn from the Sky), Path of Fire (Sparking the Flame) or The Icebrood Saga Episode 1: Whisper in the Dark (Silence) stories."Having central mastery points doesn't quite matter if they're not allocated. I suppose the question is: Have you completed Icebrood Saga episode 1?
  6. I'm the same, however I think it is intentional due to issues. https://en-forum.guildwars2.com/discussion/110963/olafson-sword-s-final-resting-place-temporarily-disabled#latest
  7. Two ways for ya. 1) In the Hero Panel, you can access the skins in the Wardrobe option of your Equipment Tab. The equipment tab is the top option of the Hero Panel. This will only show skins for items you can equip, and you must have an item of that type to view what skins you have for it.2) At any location that offers a Bank, the third tab of the Bank interface is your Account Wardrobe. From here, you can view (almost) every skin available and it does show which skins you have unlocked, weapon and armour sorted by type. Crafting tables offer the same ability.
  8. I disagree, mostly. Strikes are allowed to be repeatable, with only certain rewards daily. There's no reason to mark the strikes as 'done' when you can still get rewards from them. Just not some extra stuff for the first time. Fractal dailies change daily, so the fact that they're tracked on the hero panel is a nice quick way for players to know which fractals are the dailies. The achievement system is also how they give out the daily rewards, because these rewards are separate from the core fractal rewards. Raids are the only one I don't have a strong argument for disagreeing with, though I still do. Process of elimination with the fact that your instances clear as you clear, and you can always assume that whoever is spawned first in your instances are bosses you have not killed, are the main reasons I would disagree, but for those who manage to jump around with their clears while pugging, I could understand wanting some formal method that's not using the external API.
  9. Take the weapon, the Exotic Inscription of the stats you want the weapon to be, 5 Globs of Ectoplasm, and an Anthology of Heroes, bought from Miyani or any Mystic Forge attendants to the Mystic Forge. This will change the stats of the weapon to the stats of the Exotic Inscription you used. Note: The look of the weapon will change as well. Sunless is a dark green-ish hue, but if you switch it to be Berserker's stats, the weapon color will turn to Crimson. A simple transmutation in your hero panel will return the look, however.
  10. Even before the Skyscale, I was messing around with that launch bug in Stronghold of the Faithful, managed to somehow get sent to Narnia and ended up with this glorious picture of the Stronghold.
  11. "Fake it til you make it." I was told these words before but I never thought I could apply it here as well. Silly me. Thanks all for your words and encouragements. As fate would have it, I managed to find a W5 team that got SH down very shortly after posting this - I was off-heal. Had a couple hiccups, but still got it decently quickly. Now I realize all that remains for me to do in order to get Coalescence is to slay the final boss I have yet to slay across all seven wings: Wing 6 Qadim. I've literally only had one time I was at this boss, and I was the Circle Runner. It... did not go well. But now I believe that as long as I make a group, and possibly even just list it as Practice a couple times, I can work on Qadim, work on Circle running if I want to, and just see how far I get. When I get more comfortable on Qadim, I can start to lead more experienced groups or attempt to be frank with existing groups and see if they'll let me in. I've got a Qadim instance until Monday; let's see if I can't get him down. :P
  12. So, I generally don't tag up when I raid. I always wait to see what other people tag and start up with. Definitely limits my options when I need a specific boss to kill, which in this current case is Soulless Horror. I forgot to grab the Coalescence item the past times I've killed her, and I need to kill her again to get it. Thing is, I don't want to throw up my tag and just take the easy DPS slot. I don't like asking others to perform roles I myself am not able to, which for SH is tanking and pushing. I don't have near any experience with these roles. Should I still just attempt to make my own group even through my above misgivings about doing so?
  13. No. I believe the only benefit Ultimate had over Deluxe was 4k gems at a discount. All the unique items are still available in the Deluxe upgrade.
  14. Generally, you can safely destroy/sell anything that has already registered in your Collection achievement.
  15. It's actually 200 per drop at max level. Doesn't like parentheses
