You are mistaken. The Account Name is the email address associated with your account. Display Name is the name everyone sees, thus the 'display' designation. As JustTrogdor stated, there have been, and probably won't be, any plans to allow a change of Display Name. One of the reasons is it causes a bug within the game, and can make sending mail and friend's lists/guild member lists wonky. Within the game? Or just on here? On here yeah, I see the name, but in game I pretty much see the name of the character the person logs in as.Like if their account is "Buffalo Zojja.5309" but their characters is "Dark Lord Avius" and "Butterball Kuribo", if they're on and talking I would either see Avius or Kuribo.The only time I see the "display name" is if I go into the friendlist or if they're in the guild and I highlight the character or something to let me know who is who.i never get that, people always call me by my account name and i h8 it! (This is my 2nd account btw. so i like this one.) lolbut all my AP is on my other account :(

you know upon account creation you can't change it. but what some may not understand is that everyone will call you by that name. You might think your account name is for you, but its not. I think what the OP was getting at was just changing that display name but keeping the account name the same.So it would be account name - private(anet contact related), display name - public (call me this name). When i signed up i was use to people calling me by my toons name so i didn't really think about it, but nobody really does that anymore at first glance.It's quite obvious to tell who in your guild knows you and who doesn't however when they call you by your account name and not the name you go by (usually based off your main toons name). I realize this won't be changing, but since i cosplay based off what your able to do with the character customization i didn't have a toons name picked out B4 before i created my account. I was too used to WoW(Lich king) pre dating the "battle tags" / "account name" when i quit wow and later started up with GW2. This idea of not being called by your toon name was a whole new thing for me. lol but w/e...

i know whole dec guilds that don't raid, to stick all these decs behind the raid wall makes little sense. Decorators for the most part will spend hours in the ghall decorating not hours in raids doing combat. obviously there are people who do both, but from what i've seen, (for the most part) raiders don't decorate.

of course its only raids.... wonder kitten ful... the statues & BEDS & stuff are at the Pact Camp near the wp. 10g a pop plus volatile magics

LW4 Ep4. LEGACY is bugged after you defeat the branded riftstalker npcs start to talk then screen goes black (like its going to a cutscene) and then I get a dc message to character select and lose all credit. and have to redo the instance trying for a thrid time, but it will most likely fail. 2 hours later... on 4rth try made it past Legacy.

Story is bugged after you fight the branded from suns refuge during Legacy. Finished the stage then dc'd, twice now. Can't progress (eeew look at my awesome typing skills)

was it season 2 in sw? idk that sw armor chieves were the hardest story instances for me, everything else since has been a certain method you had to figure out, but the fight itself wasn't that hard. Not understanding a fight made it frustrating and i think the devs need to do a better job showing you what to do/ how to fight in the lead up story bits b4 the main boss fight because sometimes its not very clear.

It would have been more convenient to just increase the swim speed permanently instead of grind time.If its dead why bother fixing the skills now? seems like a huge waste of resources. ANET LOGIC?I think something is coming...

i and the rest of the communtiy want an UNDERWATER MOUNTANET!!!! not this swim speed thing. How hard is it really in PoF to get an underwater mount?!?!?!? This right here is ANET logic. Reasons why i hate the direction this game has gone. I'd dump REAL MONEY on new underwater mount skins, but instead you annoy me with a huuge grind for something that seemed so obvious and profitable for you, i'm about to lose my mind . :( whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy anet whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy :( Though I'd still bet with ANET logic They'll dump a underwater mount ingame later on down the road after people have grinded for hours (just to keep players active)I see your evil plans anet. I wonder if the SAB patch has something to do with it. I've been dc'ing like crazy(50% of the time) whenever i run sab worlds solo, but in a group it hardly ever happens :(It's been 12 days of this and still no fix for the sab dc's :(

For pixels? For a game? I'm sorry, it's hard to give sympathy where it's due when the community has gotten so emotional and so rabid for their shiny things that they cry. Like I'm sorry, but this disturbs me greatly.This is cosmetics, this isn't ascended armor or infusions for fractals. People are literally pulling their hair out for..cosmetics. Idk if I should clap for gw2 or laugh. hate to break it to you but, GW2 is mostly VANITY WARS. Not about guilds but about your armors, your fashion sense, How you decorate your self, your mount, your home. . .
