  1. I really don't understand the Med Blaster nerf for the WvW context. I think there aren't many people complaining about this because NOBODY willfully runs support scrappers anymore in WvW. At least organized squads don't, and haven't for a long time now. Druid and tempest do everything better with a lot less effort. It's plain as day to see with arcdps heal-add on plus watching the total cleanse per player with arcdps. I only play WvW so I can't speak for the other game modes, but the Med Blaster nerf in WvW seems unnecessary and only serves to alienate players that were playing support meta for a long time and may be intermittently playing or returning to the game mode since the series of significant nerfs. It's one thing to nerf something so that other classes are more viable, it's another to make the class/role so bad that they have no meaningful contribution to the squad.
  2. The 'best' fight guilds cluster together on different servers over time. Right now it's Dzagonur. If you want more of a challenge in your fights I'd suggest Gunnar's Hold (GH). GH has a great community.(Edit) If you end up back on NA I'd suggest FA if you primarily play SEA or NA time. FA is REALLY dead during EU hours though. If you want EU hours to NA hours I'd suggest DR. You are expected to play meta in both groups/servers. Both servers are active comms wise. If you want to get a feel for the commanders the primary pugmanders on both DR and FA stream so check it out.DR is not full. FA is full and is only open a couple times a year (if that) so you'd be stuck transferring to the link every 8 weeks (recurring cost).
  3. Imagine how much less boring/annoying escorting yaks would be if you could ride them like warclaws for supply delivery. Imagine how much more meaningful dismounting someone could be, esp if you could yoink the supply they were moving.
  4. Ok sure, and I even said that Blackgate prob makes sense, but FA? Idk man, just seems kinda weird. EU folk say Gandara and Desolation have the same issue. What were would you see the data on transfers in/out?
  5. Fort Aspenwood and Blackgate have been listed as full for an extremely long time. Blackgate I can maybe see having a legitimate active WvW playerbase, but my home server, Fort Aspenwood, is frequently carried by the link servers. Many densely populated and highly active servers (like WSR) in EU have reopened more frequently than these two NA servers this year. At this point it seems like a bug, and if it is an automated process that is responsible for marking a server as full or heavy pop etc., it should be investigated.
  6. The finishers have a checkbox option to be randomized. Would be nice to be able to do the same thing with gliders.
  7. I'd like to see a limitation on the number of times a single account can access banners each week.
  8. Maybe whatever group of employees monitors/examines the forums are not the most reliable for communicating function related issues to the appropriate parties. Perhaps we should send in support tickets instead. Employees who examine these forums are more than likely programmed to tune everything out because 95% + of the forums is comprised of complaints or suggestions. Think of how they ruined the leveling-up experience in the game because they had received too many support tickets from confused new players. Now you get one skill at a time, so it's not too hard. smh I'm sure many of us can provide the support staff with direct evidence of server-side skill lag. When my game is running stupid smoothly during these zerg fights, and the only things that are not working are any skills other than "1" ... not much else it can be. Not sure what the forum rules are on posting links but I'm willing to post links to youtube after uploading clips for reference/evidence. Tickets won't fix lag either. What do you think it's some ez fix? That they just need a certain amount of players to complain 100 times? Like they have a switch to decrease lag and just can't get a guy there to flip it because of covid. Every game with massive battles aion eso etc all have this issue when 100 plus converge. The obsession with having to be in ebg doesn't help because you converge way more often there. I never exp lag in NA and my guess is most these threads are EU but idk for sure. I also go to other maps so maybe if I just camped ebg at reset everytime I'd lag too idk. I also like the people that chime in w the "I support less lag too" like theres someone who supports more lag out there. Beating a dead horse with these threads just thinking anet can fix this overnight. If they are using AWS for hosting WvW and they are paying for a less than optimal subscription, then yes, it is just a matter of "a switch". AWS subscriptions are tiered and if you upgrade you get better performance but it costs more. Same as almost everything else in life.
  9. I'd like answers to all those questions too however this Subfee subject has been a very common one on these forums. While there may be a lot of people who would like one there is also very clearly a lot of people who would not.. and would even go as far as to stop supporting the game entirely if one was added.. optional or not. If funds are one of the issues contributing to this problem then I would like Anet to confirm that.At least that way people who do want a Subfee can go and throw 20 Euros into the gemstore every month and pretend like they are paying for one. Many people have pointed this out in the past as a simple counterpoint to pushing a subfee on millions of other players who got into this franchise specifically because it had an anti-subfee business model. Like an optional sub to those ridiculous "supply drop" packages they release every now and then could help. Give me a bundle with some utility boosters, wxp boosters, metabolic primers, etc. No need to add in anything that doesn't already exist. OR in the alternative, do what you do with the rest of the game. FTP players get their playground/accessibility, paid accounts get expanded accessibility. OR like how many metropolitan cities have paid express lanes and the non-paid lanes on major highways. I'm sure we could all concoct multiple strategies that wouldn't substantially rustle the jimmies of the people who want things to stay free.
  10. For the purposes of monetization why would people like you care if other people had the option to pay to have other guild slots? Like the level of closed minded here is baffling. Do you really want to force other people [who are willing to financially support the game that you also play] into your little box and deprive the developers of potential revenue in the process?
  11. Over the years, I know many of us have been asking to have the ability to purchase additional guild slots (so to say) so that we can join more than the current limit of 5. Has this ever been addressed by ANET staff? Is it something that COULD be done? For those of you who think 1 - 5 guilds enough, good for you, but that doesn't mean that the rest of the [paying] population should not ever have the option.
