  1. I suppose I should leave my input and frustrations here as the single guy that made condi engi truly work in tournaments. I played on many teams with it. I have over 10k+ games as it. I was at the forefront of creating the builds. I went to China to play condi engi as part of the abjured. My resume speaks for itself. All of that e-peening aside, condi engi is not even close to where it should be. Nobody is asking for it to be overpowered, but there's much to be desired for simple parity with other classes. Its downfall started in the rush to put out the current specialization system. Changes to the engi trees weren't well considered and condi engi was simply left behind. What really put the nail in the coffin was the changes to conditions. For example, where incendiary powder used to deal upwards of 700 damage, it became a single stack of burning that deals half that. There was no effort to bring the class back up to where it was previously. To make matters worse was the inevitable power-creep that the game still suffers from today. Even if you put condi engi back in its heyday it wouldn't be a match for certain builds that exist as of right now. The current issue is simple. How are you able to do enough condition damage yet stay alive against even moderate level players? The answer, right now, is that it's nearly impossible. I legitimately have no clue. If you put a condi engi in a game and you're better off with another class with a player of the same skill level.
  2. This is such an incredibly easy fix. I don't see why they can't. Don't allow lich in 2v2s. It'll make the game mode a whole lot more fun
  3. Ignoring the efficacy of core necros in general, Lich is just broken in 2v2s. Its duration of TWENTY seconds is just insane and its counters are slim. Most non-bunky classes can eat 6 autos max. You blow two dodges and whatever else and you're still going to have at least 10 seconds of lich up. It's a damn miracle if you're a focus target and survive it. You could make the same argument about rampage, but at half the duration you can mostly handle it. If I can offer a suggestion I'd tone down the more powerful elites in 2v2s, if that is at all possible. Worst case, just lock them.
  4. the biggest tilter, you +1 your teammate and he just leaves you in unwinnable matchup to do the beast. OOFthere is ALOT of good ways to snach the beast quickly, alot of the sidenoders can pop it in 3-10s. and the stat boost helps ALOT.but you need to know how to read the map and pay attention to make the right call, agree with the 10%, if even less. The thing is that if you go beast when there is ANY fight going on you're leaving your team in a bad spot no matter what. The times that you can beast effectively are exceptionally rare. And the stat boost means absolutely nothing. Ellesee is right. If you've never played on a team then please PLEASE PUHLEESZ DO NOT GO BEAST!!!!!!!
  5. I'm not, I explained that you don't just "afk on node" after you win a fight. You go help other fights. You know how you're CONSTANTLY 1v2 when you're losing? That means you're getting steamrolled. That's what happens when you lose a large fight. If the point wasn't "team fights are worth less than beasts" then I guess you have to explain yourself better.
  6. It goes above your head that if you already won the fight, it's free points and if you lost the fight it's still free points to back in. You're implying that wiping is 100% guaranteed win which is not if you ignore beasts because they are worth just as much as a full team wipe while you're afking on node. Also that's not considering people rotating while you're 5v4 mid, there's probably someone decapping then farming beasts regardless, making a wipe even less rewarding. Except nobody goes there if you already won a fight. One of the few times you should EVER go beast is if there is literally no fight occurring. And yes, 3v4 is almost a 100% guaranteed wipe since no one knows how to bail anymore, especially not pugs. a 3v4 wipe creates a steamroll effect, so no, beasts are not worth losing a teamfight at all. If you get beast and lose a point and more importantly a fight it's not worth it, which will almost always happen if you go beast.
  7. Guys, stop going chieftan and svaniir, Ellesee is 100% correct. I've seen too many throws since coming back to this game. You're losing the teamfights and losing points over it. Yes, you can kill it faster in this meta on the right class, but I've seen too many people do it at the worst possible time. The time it takes to rotate there is too much. Just stop will ya?
