  1. I love that the updates for WvW are "potential" and "future." You know, just give us enough to hopefully keep us playing but not too much that you'll start taking away from your real business model: gemstore skins. I honestly don't think I've ever resented a company this much.
  2. Hi there,Is there a way for me to get my gems back? It's become apparent to me during the announcement that any gems I purchase for this company will not be invested or expensed wisely. Can I get a refund on everything that I've spent?
  3. They'll update guildhalls as soon as they can sell some mount skins attached to it.
  4. I don't know if it's been mentioned yet but can we expect announcements about wvw/pvp during the live event?
  5. Another one bites the dust. This is the beginning of the end. I'll see you folks in Club Penguin
  6. I'd also just like to add one more thing. I've seen people arguing that just because a few content creators are unsatisfied with the game that that does not mean that the game is in trouble. I disagree. If you guys remember when Bless Online crash and burned, GW2 received an influx of Bless refugees. I think a big factor that contributed to that was LazyPeons positive review of GW2 at the same time. Like it or not, content creators can influence the general gaming population.
  7. I also only use the 18-slot I bought from WVW. I haven't really had any issues with inventory management since my newbie days. With a Copper Salvage-O-Matic and the changes Anet implemented on unidentified gear, managing my inventory's been really easy.
  8. This is also how it feels like to me. And I've seen the whole "but there was a map full of people in this one map I was on so it's definitely not dead" argument. As for that, that's the mega server system at work. If LFG is dead outside of the two hours after reset for fractals, only raid sellers can be seen on raid LFG, and LFG only shows one squad looking for people for map meta events (compared to multiple squads from prior years) then the game's population is definitely decreasing. I'm guessing that people that are making the argument that the game's population isn't decreasing are probably relatively new players because compared to how it was before, the game does appear to be dying. The new players might just not have any point of reference to how it was before population-wise.
  9. Heart of Thorns will give you access to gliding. Path of Fire will give you access to mounts. I'd suggest holding off on any purchases until you've decided that you'll be sticking around for the long haul. The core game is pretty hefty if it's gonna be your first time playing through it. Additionally, the game's anniversary is coming up. I think people are expecting discounts (maybe there will be a discount on the expansions then).
  10. I've definitely seen a decrease in population. It might be time to put ol' GW2 to pasture.
  11. I think most guilds would be okay with it if you didn't use your mic. You'd just have to communicate that to them which I'm guessing could be challenging for you? That said, if they're not okay with it just, leave that guild and move on. No point worrying about people you probably wouldn't have gotten along with anyway. At the end of the day it's your choice.
