I've used Fear Me on enemies stacked at hills cata wall. Kind of hilarious sending 5 people over the edge. But, yeah it's pretty garbage any other time.

The biggest con for me is losing any kind of server identity. Maybe I'm in the minority but I actually enjoy being on my server and the people that are on it are a huge reason why. No matter what is done in advance people are going to be split up from people they like playing with. I honestly think Alliances will end up hurting the game mode in the long run.

Obviously, it depends on the country. Here the 30 series (xx70 and xx80) is 700+ EUR. Yes, I posted US retail. The problem right now is the scalpers. People are buying them at retail and then jacking up the price to resell them. Prices will cam down soon enough. I’m looking for a new card myself and I personally think it’s well worth the wait.

Some of the 30 series are actually cheaper than a lot of the 20 series, that's if you can find them. The 3060Ti list for around $430 and the 3070 is $499 and both have way better performance benchmarks than all but the 2080Ti which is a very expensive card. You'll get way more bang for your buck with the 30 series.

Warrior mains??? Most are playing something else now because warrior is in such awful shape. Honestly, when was the last time you were killed by a warrior?

The problem with removing elite specs from WvW is I paid for them. I don't really PVE so the only reason for me to buy the two expacs was for the elites. If they removed them from WvW I'd be expecting a refund for both HoT and PoF. I'd be ok with a week long event but I'd be totally pissed if they removed content that I paid for.

I use a Logitech G600. It's around $35. Takes a little while to get the muscle memory down but it it pretty awesome once you get used to it.

What??? I probably win well over 80% of my 1v1's. Most nights I'll also win at least one 1v2. Thief is currently fine in my opinion. There are a few classes out there that are definitely over-tuned and near impossible to beat, but they are the ones that need looking at, not thief. Equal skill level. Beating worse players is easy. Beating equally skilled players nearly impossible. Same as me with Core Nade Engineer, just worse. When fighting equally skilled players you should win approximately half your fights in a perfectly balanced game with perfectly balanced classes. But Guild Wars 2 is not that game. Some builds are overpowered and some builds are under-powered. As is currently is, I do pretty well on my thief against most players and classes which tells me that the class itself is not woefully under-performing. There are definitely some OP builds out there that carry the players that use them but there are also players that are just better than I am and will probably beat me regardless of what I'm playing.

Yeah, removing the damage from the CC skills was a little overboard. I've pretty much shelved my warrior but when I tried it out post patch I think three of my hammer skills were hitting for 8 hit points. I get that it's a control effect, but seriously 8 hit points damage after getting smashed with a freaking 2-handed hammer... c'mon anet
