  1. The only thing that should be Bleedin is the tip of that staff Soldier!?!
  2. Sergeant voice dives in : " Where you think you at soldier? What you doing on the field running around like mouse under steroids!? Screaming so loud that you even heal people just by shouting at them!?! What are you a field therapist? Pick up that staff and stabb somebody with it! AND STOP SCREAMING " :D
  3. Hello everyone. Since the dual Sword is out and it's quite fun, can we have a Greathammer? Making the skills somehow inspired by the League of Legends hero, Mordekaiser a lord of dark realms? Skills idea: . a skill to smash the area in front of you ( DMG increases above x% life force ) . A skill to pull a target at your location . A skill to trade your Life Force for a Shield ( shield strength based on the amount of Life force consumed, you can consume the shield to heal yourself by 50% of the remaining shield amount) . A skill to surround you with a death and decay tornado that DMG enemies close to you, consuming x% life force for it's activation, this ability will stop when you drained all the life force or until it is cancelled. ( Life Force can't be regenerated while the skill is active ) thank you for your time. <3 I want to be a Dark lord with a big hammer!!
  4. Tyria doesn't feel safe as before... All those loading screens, showing off all those beautiful glaives, spears, javelins, filling me with hopes! Filling me with hype for "the next time is the time" and when the moment comes.... " Take this healing staff warrior!" Death really is slow and painful. I'm so disappointed 😔 With the new mechanics for the Ranger GreatHammer weapon, I was hopping for the Staff to be used like a Spear / Javelin, depending in how you equip it. . If you equip it ( the staff) on your main hand, and another weapon /shield in your off-hand, you would get 1-2-3 skills and play it as a javelin weapon. . If you solo equipped it, it would give you a 2 handed skill line filling your weapons skills 1-2-3-4-5 Oooooh well.... GG for those who actually love it the way it is. I can't, even after trying it. I just hate it. 😞
  5. Why not just adding skins available for multiple weapon types instead? Like, making a Greataxe skin that can be applied to 2h Hammer and a Great Sword ? The scythe could be the same, Being able to be applied to a great sword and staff. 🙂 We already have Polearm / Spear / Glaive skins for staff. That's why I'm asking for warrior to have it as next weapon 🙂
  6. Hello. Could we have next warrior Weapon to be the Staff? Allowing it to be equipped as a : - 2handed weapon if you equipped it solo - 1h weapon if equipped with an offhand This way we could have this weapon be used by those who wish to have a: . 2handed staff/spear/Polearm weapon; . or play it like Spartan mode spear+shield, or any other weapon we have for offhand.
  7. Because I don't find the Anet reason for locking the weapons on a specific trait line. Do you know it? If so, can you share? 🙂
  8. 😞 .... It will make so many players happy 😞 what actual harm can this bring? 😮
  9. Hello. This was already asked by a lot of players. When we fully unlock the Elite specialisations, can our character use that respective weapon freely? It would be awesome to use this weapons in different builds and new combos, without being forced to use a specific Specialisation trait line. I wanted to use engineering hammer outside scrapper trait line for example. Can we have this?
  10. Turrets: How do you overcharge your turrets?? Sadly, you cant anymore, but i have a suggestion to this, and probably making this viable again! each turret have it's effect, and also have their own Tool-belt , why not making this Tool-belt skills the overcharge?Example:When you place Riffle Turret every time it HITS the target, it gets an overcharged point, let us say at max of 5 stacks. This stacks would be marked above your Tool-Belt skill, every successful shoot on your target you get a +1 , 2 hit +2 etc etc. if you have +5 mark, and your turret is currently up, you would use the Tool-Belt skill, alloying the riffle / you ( as currently is ) to shoot 5 consecutive shoots at your selected target giving more DMG than the regular shoot. Rocket Turret would have the similar effect, but instead of shooting at your target the Overcharged Stack number would appoint to the number of missiles that it would Bombard the selected area. +2 = 2 bombard missiles ( example ) +5 = 5 bombard missiles The healing Turret could increase the stack number of Regeneration effect, or even, giving a healing burst, considering the number of successful healing pools that it had actually been given to any player. ( numbers of players inside the turret range do not stack, but only the healing pool numbers that were successful, which means that you need at least 1 friendly target to be hit by the healing pool to have a +1 stack ). Although, this Tool-Belt can only be used when the current turrets are up, or this can be only an improvement to your current Tool-belt skill . Bringing the Turret build more viable and some small burst DmG / Healing situations, making this class a bit more unpredictable and giving players more decisive situations.
  11. Hello. Why can't we place the kit we want on the weapon slots instead of carrying them on skill bars? We could have more utility from skills and tollbelt . Should it be good for this class?
  12. This is incorrect. We have the order of the Elder Dragons awakening. It is: Primordus, DSD, Jormag, Zhaitan, Kralkatorrik, Mordremoth. Primordus is the largest model to date, and he was the first Elder Dragon to awaken. Primordus and Kralkatorrik awoke late, but this was not because of their size, but because their "heralds" were killed (or betrayed). In the case of Primordus, the herald was The Great Destroyer (the primary antagonist of Eye of the North expansion in GW1); for Kralkatorrik, this was Glint. We do not know the DSD's herald, and Mordremoth made an impromptu Herald via Scarlet Briar during Season 1, Jormag's Herald was Drakkar, similarly seen but never interacted directly with during GW1, and Zhaitan's Herald is implied to be the Giganticus Lupicus we fight in Arah explorable. You're likely thinking that they're asleep because they're inactive. Elder Dragons basically have three states:Asleep. They cannot create minions, and instead of consuming magic, they release it into the world.Inactive. They're making minions; they're consuming magic that they're sitting atop.Active. They're launching armies out into the world, and/or moving to find new sources of magic to consume. Elder Dragons go back and forth between active and inactive based on the magic they're sitting on and the amount of minions they have (fewer minions = inactive). Jormag and Primordus were active during the novel Edge of Destiny, which takes place 5 years before the events of the personal story. Destiny's Edge killed their champions and reduced their minion numbers, putting them back into an inactive state. Similarly, Zhaitan was active during the Sea of Sorrows novel, taking place 100-70 years before GW2, and was inactive by the time the novel ended due to its army's destruction. Primordus was not only awake, but active. He may seem sleeping because he was paralyzed by Taimi's Machine. But he was awaken until we destroyed the machine. It's even outright stated that Primordus was put back to sleep because of the magic drawn from him. Aurene was right next to the source of magic, while the other Elder Dragons were hundreds of miles away from the sources of magic when the other Elder Dragons die. This is why Aurene was able to absorb all of Kralkatorrik's magic while Zhaitan's and Mordremoth's escaped into the world. Kralkatorrik fell a few dozen miles off the shoreline. The DSD awoke - 200 years ago I will add - in the deepest parts of the Unending Ocean. The Ocean isn't that small. And karka, krait, and quaggan migration patterns imply that the DSD is far, far west of the Ring of Fire. Closer to Mordremoth's place of death than where Kralkatorrik fell. The DSD doesn't control the entire sea, just as Primordus doesn't control all lava or Mordremoth didn't control all plantlife. You say a different theory... but this is the same thing others are positioning: "The DSD is next!" You're just incorrect in thinking it and the other Elder Dragons have been asleep when not the focus. I have to replay gw1 I can't barely remember what happen in there and looks like some hints are in there for sure. :o seems a great deal every time I try to link everything all together by myself ! :)Thanks a lot! :) That helped !
  13. Hello everyone. You can also find a share of opinions on this matter at this link for further and different theory enjoy :) https://www.reddit.com/r/Guildwars2/comments/bsf19v/spoilers_elder_dragons/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share So, for what I have experienced in the game and learned until now is: Elder dragons are awakening in order, this order is based on their size for what I have learned, from comments based on game dialogues. It explains that when 1 falls tremendous amount of Leyline energy is released, and that energy is absorbed by the older dragons. The bigger the dragon, the bigger the amount of energy this one need to absorb to awake, that's why zaitan was the first. He was the smallest elder dragon. Gods can also absorb this energy, and dragons absorb other's energy aswell despite who they are, humans, dragons , gods etc. If one dies and it's energy is absorbed, their powers also are " learned " from their absorbed magic. Dragons now have zaitan's and mordemoth powers. Primordius was sleeping when Balthazar absorbed it's energy, later we know that kralkatorric absorbed Balthazar. Aurene in the end of kralkatorric absorbed all the energy that it had, this includes all the energy and powers this one's also had from the previous absorbed gods and dragons. Aurene can also use palawa Joko powers . My questions are, did aurene actually absorbed all the dragon energy when it fall? or is the amount of energy released so vast that she can't absorb it all for herself? Were the other's dragons able to do it aswell ? If yes then, Who is the next dragon after kralkatorric in size comparison that was able to absorb the energy and awake? I notice that kralkatorric felt on the water, you think the sea dragon is the next to awake ? Since he is probably the one closest. People on internet say that the sea dragon is the biggest one, this might also implies that he will be the last to awake. There is something that makes me think , he controls the sea, all that area is so huge, probably he has the biggest Leyline energy banquet of all!compared to other dragons that are in land, this one rules the ocean all alone , he has all the energy at his disposal because he doesn't have anything else to compete with him for the energy right? Hehe no need to share ;D . What you guys think?
  14. Well, maybe players have a point in asking this. It is certain that this will take plenty time and some resources. But pretty much sure it would be a good investment! Is kinda a reminder :P Ah, yes... "because I want it". Standard response. Still doesn't answer the question, though. Let's assume they do add these weapons and, as many people point out, they're functionally identical to existing weapons. What have they added? How has gameplay expanded? This isn't a looter-shooter; they can't just adjust the timing slightly and say it's a different gun. This isn't a fighting game, where they can tweak one or two moves (or just swap the color palate) and say it's a new character. This is an MMO, and more importantly, this is Guild Wars 2. Styles matter, choices matter, weapon selection matters. But then, "just add them as skins" isn't good enough either, is it?1° : This thing : " because I want it " I don t see it in any place of my arguments. If that is what you interpretated then is your ability to comprehend and it's a personal problem of yours. Don't put words from other mouths. 2° : land spears and tridents could be land used, even crossbows could be added and many others weapons we could imagin, a few number to share to different classes and for new build templates :) . Besides, they are lore friendly I believe and would be nice to have some new weapons instead of reading one day : guardian new weapon - riffle! All I want to say is , in my opinion, adding new weapons would be better then to cycle the existing ones , because some would probably sound wierd on specific classes right? Besides, I believe it would not arm anything by adding them to the game, knowing that spears and tridents are already on game.Animations for specific races and all would certainly take their time, I'm pretty sure of that . But it would be rewarding in the end.Balancing new weapons skills is has hard as balancing the existing ones to the game. :) Is my opinion anyway, many agreed other's don't all coins have 2 sides, I just argue as I fit just to defend in what I believe and perspectives.
  15. You know that you are talking about players who are playing with tank build and gear right? And if you put a guardian, warrior, revenant everyone with survival / tank build how many players would you need to take them down aswell? Maybe 4 to 5 ? If someone player with a tank build no wonder you need help to take it dow. Everyone would need m8 :) Yes but tank builds that holds off a 3v1 indefinitely is broken. Mind that Turret engy is not the only one that can tank indefinitely. Point is, don't ask for a buff. Especially a damage buff. dha! Then all the tank builds need a buff and not engineer itself. When I don't know how to defeat a certain class I search on Google , ask on guild and ask for some 1v1 so I can learn to exploit it's weaknesses . Try it out :)
