  1. Truthfully it the issue with the change of media usually going from game media to steaming video media ie. cutscenes usually. This has been a thing for some time even with Heart of Thorns. The Host file related workaround is the only fix I've seen..
  2. This may help: https://en-forum.guildwars2.com/discussion/23404/tech-assist-issue-i-disconnected-from-a-instance-during-a-cut-scene-or-cinematic#latest

  5. A possible band-aid fix for all instance missions that involve cut-scenes and cinematics. The DepartingThe SacrificeEstate of DecayVictory or DeathDragon's StandHeart and MindsThe Source of OrrSparking the FlameOssuary of Unquiet DeadTo Kill A GodCrystalline MemoriesGenerally you'll be editing your Host file: Click the Start button on taskbar to display the menu, and then right click Notepad on it from the menu and "Run As Administrator" or you can Type note in the search box near the start button, and right click the Notepad application and "Run As Administrator".Navigate to the HOST file directory: C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etcMake sure you have "All Files" set so you can see all the files in the folder instead of just.TXT files.Once you have the host file open, paste the following line below the existing text:127.0.0.1 assetcdn.102.arenanetworks.com Note: If the string above (or one similar to it) located in your host file, you may need to remove it entirely and save the changes to resolve the issue. If adding the string above does not seem to work for you, try changing the line to 127.0.0.1 assetcdn.103.arenanetworks.com instead. Save the file.Restart your Guild Wars 2 Launcher.
  6. This is sadly the wrong log. A crash log would look something like this. --> Crash <--Assertion: Particular crash typeFile: Target LocationApp: ClientPid: xxxxCmdline: Any command lines used.Module: Possible conflicting fileBaseAddr: xxxxxxxProgramId: xxxBuild: xxxxxWhen: 2017-12-18T00:00:00Z 2017-12-18T00:00:00+00:00Uptime: 0 days 0:00:00Flags: 0
  7. OP is talking about dodgejumping as in combining jump+dodge in one move. Ahh 10-4 hahaha
  8. Its intent to to create a log if possible in it next play session's crash. I will admit the way I provided it is a bit crude. Locate your Gw2.exe file.Right-click on the file and select Create shortcut.Rename this new shortcut to Guild Wars 2 Log.Right-click on Guild Wars 2 Log and select Properties.Locate the Target line and add –log to the end. (Example: “C:\Games\Guild Wars 2\gw2.exe” -log)Click OK. Double-clicking Guild Wars 2 Log will begin playing your game client. The game will attempt to create a log upon a crash. To find that log please do the following: Hold down the Windows button on the keyboard and hit the R key.Paste in the following line: C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\Guild Wars 2Click “Ok.”Locate the "Arenanet.log" (If present)
  9. You can do directional key 'AWSD' + 'V" instead of double directional key "AWSD". You can also turn off the double tap to evade [which i find helps with jump puzzles] in the F11 General Options Tab in the catagory Combat/Movement.
  10. Is this happening only on one character, have you tried logging into other characters? You can always try and have the client force a logs:Just change the work repair to loghttps://help.guildwars2.com/hc/en-us/articles/201863008-Repairing-the-Game-Clientie C:\Games\Guild Wars 2\gw2.exe” -log
  11. It should also be noted even if you did rid yourself of your personal story objective (green) itd just get replace with a discovery objective (light blue) version of it. That lead you to nearby event, or undiscovered locations.
